My spooler file got corrupted and I need to know what that the stamp of date/time on the latest version of the file: spoolsv.exe. I did a search on my hard drive and found 8 copies of the file with 7 different dates. I need to know which copy in my file C:\windows\system32\. I suspect that the problem was caused by some kind of malware. I think that some of the different versions on my machine of the initial installation of the Vista, SP1 and SP2. 3 copies that would explain. I tried all the suggestions in this forum and several others. I tried sfc/scannow and it simply replaces the corrupted file by another. I understand how works this file and a simple copy will do the trick if I knew that the file to use. I know that I don't want to go back to the first version of 2006.  BTW... my symptoms are all my printers have disappeared, and when I try to 'add a new printer' I get an error message saying that my spooler service does not work.   Hello, my iPhone Plus 6 has been intermittent, unresponsing and glitchin.   I have a problem with my A100-283. A few weeks ago the laptop just hung and I stopped it the hard way by removing just the battery (I know, bad idea, shouldn't have done...)

  After that it wouldn't start. Or through battery with the adapter is plugged. There was no more noise fan, or beep or anything like that, just a few LEDs + turn signals for a fraction of a second (capslock + numlock and some of the front LEDs).

  The next day I tried again - and it booted up fine, everything seemed to work again. But off it again the same problem appeared.
  Now there is no more guarantee on the A100, so I disassembled and welded in a new BIOS battery because I thought that this could be the problem.
  After reassembling, the problem remains.

  My laptop Satellite Pro A200 is a little over 1.5 years (or young: P) and I have a huge problem with the battery - it only lasts for a total of _26 minutes_ under "high performace" mode in Vista - other modes the power increase time to 5-7 minutes.

  I've tweated the system configuration for:
  -too few programs running at startup;
  d ' use as little memory in what concerns the graphics (as in the disabled vista themes and operations "fantasies" show window contents while dragging).
  -stay on the low light.

  The programs that run at startup are my anti virus (F-Secure) and ATI catalyst control.

  I also cleaned the registry conflicts and scan for viruses regularly.

  I used Ubuntu on this laptop as well and the battery life is not that much better, which leads me to the conclusion that the battery comes to an end.

  I was wondering if this duration of battery life (26 minutes max on high performace) is normal for a laptop after only 1.5 years? * (I don't remember how long it has lasted when I first bought).

  Also, I have a laptop from other manufacturer of 2 years and its battery lasts a minimum of 4 hours (on Windows XP).
  The two laptop batteries are 6 cells.

  Any suggestions on how to improve my battery life?

  If parts of different hardware such as CPU, GPU, HDD, ODD, display perform better performance then dramatically decreases your battery work time
  In addition, if you lose a stronger battery (9 or 12 cells cell) then you should be abele run Notepad a lot more time using the battery power.

  I don't think that the battery has nothing to do with it.

  How is the health of your hard drive.  You have the classic symptoms of may not be not HD.

  Utility drive SMART status? ERD?

  You have an external bootclone to boot from to see if your problems go away.

  What version of LabVIEW are you using?  If you are in 2009, you can actually save the .png to your computer file and just drag it into the block diagram of a white VI.  Also attached is the VI even recorded in LV 8.2 (the feedback node has been replaced with a shift during the downconversion register).

  You type: msconfig in the Run dialog box.

  Under the Startup tab disable this you never or rarely use.

  You will always be able to use them whenever you want without going back to msconfig.

  On the Services tab, click Hide all Microsoft Services, and then choose the ones you want to start when you start your computer.
