  I recently bought a predator G9-591 with GTX 980 m graphics card. When I connect the laptop with my home theater system (which in turn conencts to a TV) via an HDMI cable, everything was great and the audio output is through output Audio Intel. But when I run the game, the sound doesn't come out of the Home Theater system more, according to the portable speaker.

  I guess it's because when I play the game, the phone goes from integrated graphics Intel at GTX980m. I couldn't find a Nvidia high definition Audio System output (both in the Strait and the Device Manager), Realtek (the speaker), and output Audio Intel (integrated graphics card I think).

• Digital Coaxial output for audio/video receiver - does not

  I connected my LCD TV to my office from HP (9340f) using the S-video output on a Nvidia 9800GT video card.  The video is awesome, but I can't get the sound to work on my Harmon Kardon AVR146 receiver.  I plugged the exit at the back of the HP to the coaxial digital input at the back of the digital coaxial receiver.

  When I open the properties for audio devices and test the audio from Realtek, I can hear the sounds (piano?) of the speakers connected to the receiver, however, when I play video through windows media, or play a video game there is no noise at all.

  Any suggestions?

  have you gone to control panel-> Sound, then verify that the digital output is enabled.  No speaker ouput.

  It would be only possible if it is supported in the game/program itself or if your sound card driver configuration settings will allow it.  Some sound card drivers will allow you to have two different audio streams or separated for helmets.  So, it really depends on your hardware and the application that you are willing to put in place this way.

  I have the Toshiba Portege M600 with Vista Home Premium 32-bit SP.1. It is about 3 years old now. This for 3 months, I experience "no audio output device is installed" repeatedly. The first three times that I feel it, it's solve by doing:
  -Run-> service.msc-> restart audio windows (first occurrence; problem solved with this method)
  --> Device Manager disable and then enable the controller HD audio (second instance; problem solved with this method)
  (- Installed realtek third occurrence; problem solved and last for a month)
  Yesterday again I have another occurrence of this problem. And this time, none of the foregoing strives to solve the problem. Now, I'm a bit desperate. Is he someone ever lived the same thing? I will very grateful if you are willing to share or have any suggestions on what I should do...

  I own a HP Pavilion dv6000 Series notebook and have recently lost all my audio. Tuesday, I booted up my laptop, and the icon "No Audio output device" installed appeared. Device Manager showed no sound drivers anywhere, even when I checked for those hidden. First of all, I got last week. No luck. After retrieving the driver for the modem 'HDaudio softdata fax' the laptop worked well. Wednesday the laptop worked well. Thursday morning, once again, no audio icon, no recognition of Device Manager. Tried the same thing I did before, but when I got the driver I got an error message saying it could not find the device specified for the pilot... weird. I downloaded and installed the Microsoft Universal Audio Architecture (UAA) Bus Driver for high definition and it worked fine. I turned it off and came back to him last night here and once again, no audio icon. Same story. This time I tried to do everything I did before, and it just doesn't work. If I try to reinstall the UAA Bus driver it replaces just the original and nothing is done. I am at my wits end with this and it seems that every time that I fix it, turn off the coast and laughs.   Here is my audio hardware preferences - Realtek is my only option. Everything was going well in 2014 CC this afternoon and I have CS6 installed, which opens and reads the clips and audio without problems while listing the Realtek as the output device.

  

  HP Z820 - Windows 7 64 bit - 128 GB of ram. Adobe apps and system to this day.

  I could solve this problem by removing all plug-in in the directory "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Common\Plug-ins\7.0\MediaCore", which fixed the problem, then replacing them in batches until the returned error.  In this case, it was an outdated version of an addon Bluefish444.

  Hi all

  Any thoughts on why audio output would be audible during playback in a timeline/program monitor, but the same clip doesn't produce audio output when loading in the source monitor? In the body of CS5.

  I checked the preference settings and everything seems to be fine there.  We have just added a set of external speakers to this workstation and those are the audio devices in the program monitor.  When a clip is read in the Source monitor, speakers produce a nice low hum, but the sound of the clip is missing.  The buzz that crosses leads me to believe the audio hardware is mapped and set correctly, but maybe not?

  My apologies for the lack of detail... I know better than that.  Luckily I thought about it the problem.

  The clip is Ikegami MXF.  The problem was that the first audio channel didn't have any audio recorded to it.  I changed the properties audio clip and disabled channel 1. Voila! The clip was loaded in the source monitor and the sound became audible.

• How do I change Firefox's audio output device without restart the browser?

  I often switch between different headsets and speakers using USB audio devices. Whenever I change to another audio device, Firefox does not change its audio output to match my current camera. Other programs/games follow suit when I change my audio device by default and I don't really like should I exit Firefox completely and reopen it to my audio to come through the unit. It is not a huge problem, but when I have multiple windows and several tabs open, it can be annoying to have to restart my browsing session. Tips to deal with this problem?

  I've been a Firefox user for many years and I still use it as my main browser. A problem that has bothered me for years lies in the fact that when Firefox is open and I change my audio output device by default, Firefox does not respect this change and continues to play audio through the device that was used to originally.
