5142 8/16 / 32-bit

Hello

1- I works with digitizer 5142 or. I want complex data streams, for which I activated the SDC and the rest of the Pentameters. I want to acquire as binary width vi example in examples of niscope. Now the problem is when I extract the data in the format 08/16/32 bit in 1 d format vi gives error

Possible reasons:
Driver status: (Hex 0xBFFA0010)
Invalid value for the parameter or property.

Device: digitizer
Property: Sample binary width
Invalid value: 8
Possible values: 32

State code:-200077

which is true this works for 32-bit only.

2- now, when I made the extraction vi fetch 2D 16/08/32 works fine What's wrong with extraction of 1 d? coming out I don't know, but as long as vi is concerned it works well.

3- when I do not use binary sample width in the property node and go look in the 16/08/32 manually it works very well for 1 d as

Although 2D... More?

Hi malala.

Attached is the same example as above, streams
5142 complex IQ datato RAM, with the addition of a filtering complex
through the Digital Filter Design Toolkit.

The DFD Toolbox
fact has no support for native data types of complex, but it is not
problem. To band-pass filter a signal complex to 0 Hz baseband, you
Just use a model of low-pass filter with cutoff frequency and
stopband attenuation you want and then use this same design of filter on
the individual I and Q data stream.

I also changed the
front panel so that now it shows a power spectrum, so that you can see the
the DFD filter effect is to have the IQ data. Since your application
You must run as quickly as possible, that you might want to delete everything except extraction and treatment, you need to perform on the IQ of the While loop nested data. This includes the calculation of the power spectrum and the graphic representation of the data.

I hope this helps.

Kind regards

    Hello

I have a scanner 5142 with a resolution of 14 (16) bit. can I change this rate of 8-bit scanning, or can I get a signal to 8 bits using 5142. If so should it aso means I increased the speed of 200MBS 100MBS (since I'm only using 8-bit scanning).

    Concerning

    MADD

Regarding your first question: when you switch to the mode low resolution (8-bit), you do not set the sampling rate, but it can be used to improve the flow to the host computer.  For example, when the digitizer is 14 bits (and sampling at 100 MSamples/s) mode, the device is to store 16 bits (2 bytes) samples in memory of the device.  Let's say you can extract the data from the device to the host (on the PCI bus) 100 MB/s.  This means that you can extract 50 MSamples/s memory of the device to the host memory.  If you switch to 8-bit mode, the sampling frequency (100 MSamples/s) remains unchanged.  However, the device keeps 8 bits (1 byte) samples in memory of the device.  Bus speed is also unchanged, BUT you can extract 100 MSamples/s memory of the device to the host memory (because each sample is smaller).

Regarding your second question: you can use a step-down converter frequencies more bandwidth with the 5142.   If this isn't a frequency step-down converter, you need set the 5142 with the NOR-Scope pilot (rather than NOR-DAMA).  There are examples included with the NO-Scope driver that illustrate how to program the functions IF the 5142 (examples of embedded Signal Processing.  However, you should first consider the new OR-5663 Analyzer vector signals, which is the device to 6.6 GHz with an instantaneous bandwidth of 50 MHz.

  • I8 by 5142

Can I use NI SCOPE Fetch Poly with "I8 unscaled" as fetch with digitizer 5142 format? When I try to do what only 1 and 0 are returned in the array of I8.

    Alann Hello,

It's probably because you don't have a signal connected to the scope chain as you read from. "" "When you perform a binary acquisition using the niScope EX binary Acquisition VI, found in the Finder example under material input and output" Modular Instruments ' OR-SCOPE (scanners high speed) "General, I saw the following behavior:

Without a connected signal extraction 8bits would acquire a signal that rapidly has oscillated between 0 and -1.

I hope this helps to clarify what is happening with your system.

When you change the extraction in 16 - bit noise is seen much better.

With the connected however signal, the signal can be seen in both 8-bit and 16-bit extraction.

    Hi Weide,

Are you already try with any example that live in LabVIEW? I found niScope MT IO.vi OR example Finder. I think that's what you're looking for. Make sure you have Modulation Toolkit installed to run this vi.

  • Safari in 32-bit mode in El Capitan

    Hello

For school, my children need access to the Web site that runs 'Shockwave '. They are not currently open.

Navigation online suggestions say run it in 32-bit mode, with instructions on how to do it.

However, when I access the app Safari (version 10), and "Get Info", the check box option is not there to run in 32-bit.

Does this mean that I can't go back now?

    Thank you.

    Steve.

With Safari 10, you cannot return to running in 32-bit mode, if that's what you're asking.

  • Can I boot in 32-bit mode?

    MacBook Pro 17 "(8,3) i7 2.2 GHz Quad Core 16 GB DDR3 750 GB HD OS X Mavericks 10.9.5"

I am trying to connect to a USB 1.1 device which has incompatible firmware with 64-bit OS X.  The camera manufacturer's instructions for a workaround that allows access to the device to update the firmware, providing support OS X 64-bit.  Of workaround requires me to start in 32-bit mode by pressing the '3' key and '2' during the start cycle.  They show how to check and see if your Mac is in 32-bit mode, but their example does not match my window, and my machine doesn't seem to be in 32-bit mode.   I found several references to this '3' start + "2" keyboard shortcut, but nothing official from Apple.

Please do not recommend upgrading the OS.  The software I'm using is not supported by the manufacturer past Mavericks.

Thanks in advance for any help.

If the software is compatible with the Mavericks like you state that the developer shows you should be able to use the device in 32 or 64 bit.

When using any modification of the startup of the suggestion of anyone on the internet always proceed with caution, and damages are exclusively your own:

    Method 1: Start key combination
This will bypass the default mode and use a different mode for single session.

    • If your Mac uses the 32-bit mode by default, press 6 and 4 at startup
    • If your Mac uses 64-bit by default, press 3 and 2 at startup

Note: Your Mac will return to the default mode the next time it starts. Method 2: Setting disk
This will change the default mode used by your Mac when starting. For 32-bit mode, use the following command in a Terminal:

    • sudo setkernelbootarchitecture systemsetup - i386

For the 64-bit mode, use the following command in a Terminal:

    • sudo systemsetup setkernelbootarchitecture - x86_64

It is 64-bit, or you cannot run 10.9.5.

When FF 42 came out the information I had was that the 64 bit version for Windows had not all plug-ins of the 32-bit version. I was left with the impression that he was still developing. At FF 43 moved beyond that?

Yes, I think that it is correct.

Hi berwyn, mozilla won't because the plan published (as do other browser vendors as well) is completely remove support for the npapi and move the web content plugin. the win64 version already takes this kind of slate.

As the new 64-bit version was released with the help of Add on a minimum, I want to use next.

Install the Win64 version in a different folder where the 32-bit version is installed, by using the custom option. And if you want to be able to run both versions at the same time create a new profile for Win64.

If you want to use other Plugins in Firefox on Windows, you need Firefox 32 bit and 32-bit Plugins.
