6200 FCoE in the direction of the North

I have a quick question that I have not been able to get a definitive right answer to (in literature)-regarding the new 6200 FI and FCoE in the direction of the North...

Anyway, my question: with the function UP on the 6200 (with UCS 2.0) - can we now do FCoE in the north direction (in this case a nexus 5548UP)? Or do we still need out in separate eth and FC rising?

I see of the configuration Guide, we can configure ports such as FCoE ports - and options for eth uplinks and CF uplinks are still there too. I was not able to determine if the FCoE port type can be used for uplink.

Thanks in advance!

Hi Daniel,.

* You can always northbound FCoE connectivity of the UCS YEW which in your case, you can not uplink between 62xx FCoE and the 5548UP.

* You must always have seprate FC rising and uplinks Eth.

* The feature to have FCoE uplink will be available in a future release (on request at the end of the year).

* the FCoE ports that you see are to use when you want to direct fix storage of FCoE for FI (limited support model).

I hope this helps!

  • Travel in America of the North-help purchase iPhone 7 Australian

    Hello

I happens in Vancouver in a few days and roamed in Banff, Jasper and probably Calgary, then probably South in parts of the North of the United States, possibly including Montana and Oregon before returning to Vancouver.

In addition to beautiful landscapes, I'm hoping to pick up an iPhone 7along the way, as it will be much cheaper than the House, especially if I can minimize or even avoid any sales tax. I'm not very anxious to get and obviously it is not a value to travel through several States to save a few dollars in tax, but if one of the points on my route will be significantly cheaper than others, so I would like to take advantage of this.

    So, a few questions:

    1. as far as I know, no iPhones purchased in an Apple store in the United States or the Canada work at home in Australia with my SIM House? That is to say that they are not locked or have any other question bother me?

    2. my understanding is that places likely to be on my itinerary, Oregon and Montana have the sales tax down it is to say 0%. I'm more likely to go to Montana as Oregon, but apparently there is no Apple store in Montana? What would be good stores of spare for your purchase of an iPhone unlocked without any subscription network etc in Montana?

    3. as I do a bit of travel, I think to make one of the CDMA models capable, just to have that little bit more flexibility. However, I am currently using a t-mobile sim in my Australian bought iPhone while traveling in North America. It will cause additional problems if I try to use the sim card from t-mobile in the new cdma phone, either while here, and when I come back home? Certain passages on the apple site concerns me... in particular, the ILO "Once unlocked. "Sprint and Verizon Wireless.

If Sprint or Verizon Wireless is your mobile phone provider, your iPhone will work on AT & T and T-Mobile once unlocked. An iPhone activated on Sprint or Verizon Wireless also has the ability to travel internationally on GSM networks. »

    Thanks for tips or tricks

    Phil

The only difference between the models 'CDMA' and all the rest is that CDMA parts have been active and registered with a particular carrier which still has a legacy CDMA network. In the United States, is Sprint and Verizon. Those phones work on LTE and GSM networks as well. Phones for sale of various carriers may also have different bands LTE. Phones for sale on the Verizon network are unlocked.

However, it is particularly unwise to buy a phone outside your country of residence. The warranty on a phone bought in the United States would be valid only in the United States expected your phone needs maintenance, you would need to return to the United States or to ship the phone to a friend or relative who can fit in an Apple Store.

    Hi Dexter,

Since you will have two / several switches uplink to which you will have an Ethernet to the North, a what you will have to configure is the layer 2 disjoint.

You must be on any version 2.0 to configure that.

Here are a few documents to help you with the details:

  • See the direction of the North on the cards

How to identify the orientation of the map (Apple) on Iphone?

Is there an indication of direction 'North '? Potential additional features?

The map is by default facing north, if you put the card you will see a small black circle with an "n" and a little red arrow. You can leave the map towards North again by pressing this same black circle.

  • Way to Smartphones blackBerry to the North, the SIM card

Hi, I have a new Blackberry (7230). I've never used a mobile phone or PDA phone before. I had 2 BlackBerry for e-mail or text messaging services and an organizer for the moment.

I don't know anything about SIM cards except my needs a Blackberry.

    My Blackberry is unlocked.

Any good suggestions on A SIM that I can use for only text or email messages?

We can improve our SIMs later.

I just go to a provider and get a SIM card? I will not get a phone also program? A supplier will just sell me a SIM card for text messaging or to activate the Blackberry e-mail push?

BlackBerry has SIM cards? I went to the website, they do not seem to.

7230... again... How about you, we say "new for you".

You can get a SIM card from your provider for free, or almost nothing. This will depend on the carrier if they offer one data plan, some do it.

  • Start from the Port of FCoE storage

If I directly attach an array of NetApp fabric using new storage interconnection FCoE ports, the blades allows SAN boot in this scenario?

    Simon,

It shouldn't be a problem with that. Assuming the initators can achieve the goal of direct attach, you should be able to SAN start your blades. I did not set it up myself, but in theory there should be nothing preventing it.

  • SOLVED blackBerry smartphones - cannot make outgoing calls. Get two beeps like busy tone with the Koodo Mobile in Thunder Bay, Ontario North

This has caused me a lot of frustration.

With my curve when I try to make an outgoing call and I get a busy signal as two beeps repeating themselves.

I tried everything and the only thing that worked was a security wipe, so losing all my data.

If I made a backup and restore, the problem comes back. If I restored it selectively through desktop BLackberry, database of the database, the problem returns. Koodo Mobile and Blackberry escalated support was not able to understand this.

However, through much trial and error, I found that if I limit my identity or turn off the option to show my number in the phone settings, for some reason any he caused this problem.

So I can't block my identity by using the settings on the phone.

This can be the result of my location service and the carrier, which is Koodo mobile, in Thunder Bay in Northwestern Ontario that used the TBAYTEL towers for the service, the type of signals technology service. I don't know, and no one was able to tell me why this is happening. I went to 6 months not being able to make outgoing calls without losing ALL my sms, contacts, BBM, TXTs, bookmarks and other personal data. Only a security wipe would allow me to make a call - until I have activate the restrict my identity and activated the show my number option.

SO - I hope this helps other users. I've been through three phones, thinking that it was the material problems.

It's a kind of crappeh because I would not block my identity with a few calls. So with the curve BB on Koodo to Thunder Bay, I can't do that. I have not tried outside the Northwestern ONtario, but it will probably be the same, unless I am out of service TBAYTEL area.

Such is life. Live with it.

    Difficulty easy but unsatisfactory.

I ' lll this post in the Forum of Koodo so when one exists.

    See you soon!

I did these steps including restore each database one at a time with the same results. I can do a full restore and the remains of the issue until I set restrict my identity forever AND Show My Number Yes. I also did all of these steps with the any other BB Curve 8530 and it seems to happen every ih in this area.

I found the work around but it would be good to know why and if this happens outside the TBAYTEL towers that Koodo Mobile uses throughout Northern Ontario to the Ontario-Manitoba border in the West, to the North of Hearst and East of Sault Ste. Marie.

If there are a Koodo Mobile, users who have a BlackBerry Curve 8530, I'd like to hear you just what I see if it is unique to the service provider, hardware, software and network type, geographical location, etc.

Any comment is appreciated, as support Koodo and BlackBerry have been baffled and couldn't solve this problem and I hope that others find it so that they can save months of time and frustration, I have lived.

    See you soon...

Our Carmina Burana concert series begins next Friday, at the Campbell United Methodist Church. Rehearsals have been wonderful and great fun! We're really enjoying singing this piece, and are very much looking forward to dress rehearsals next week with soloists, percussionists and the Ragazzi Boy's choir!

It's not often that we perform with as many different kinds of percussion instruments as are called for in Carmina. Since the percussionists are typically in the back of the orchestra, it may not be easy to see what the instruments look like, especially when they are small or unusual. Just in case you are curious, I have included some images of some, at least, of the percussion instruments. Top to bottom down the right side are triangle, raganella (ratchet), glockenspiel, sleigh bells, snare drum, suspended cymbal, castanets, tubular bells, and the last image is xylophone with crotales (antique cymbals) across the top. Our performance will not have an entire orchestra between the audience and the performers, so you will be able to easily see the percussionists and pianists at work, not to mention the soloists.

The instrument list also calls for two pianos and a celeste. The pianos will be two Roland HP605 professional level electronic pianos, lent for this performance by two of our Bass choir members, David Goodman and Kim McCall. We rehearsed with the pianos this week - not only do they have amazing sound but with a flick of a switch they turn into the celeste, or the flute or the horn!
