I have a dell windows XP comp and a hard time solving this error 80070641 and 641 code. I have read everything on this website and followed all the steps but nothing has worked. Help!

    Just bought my first laptop and trying to connect to the internet via a Modem of GNET DSL via PPPoE.     I'm 100% sure that this error is not caused by your new laptop. I m also 100% sure that all of the ports on your laptop work properly. You can check in the Device Manager. Is there a problem?

    This modem is is not known to me, but, in General, using the LAN cable should not have a problem if your modem is configured properly. With WLAN is the same.

    Have you tested the feature on another network LAN or WLAN (different DSL router)?

    I suggest that you do the following:
    Start by putting your system in a clean boot State.
    Run the disk error checking
    Run System File Checker
    Run the System Update tool
