That is great news!

It was probably the wireless restoration that we did and the configuration of the WPS button that actually fixed this problem. Sometimes when you re - establish a network printer connection gets a new IP address of the router. Sometimes in this case computers will not recognize the printer with the new IP address. A simple reinstallation of the software and drivers fixes this problem. In your case, it seems that your computer will detect the printer, as it is connected to your network again very well.

    I am struggling with this for hours...
    I installed windows xp on this old laptop, Satellite 1800 PS181C, and I can't get the drivers to work for ethernet can work

    It worked fine when I had windows 2000 on it, but as the OS crashes constantly, so I opted for XP instead.

    In Device Manager, it lists the network adapter under 'hidden features' for a reason, it is called "Intel 8255 x-based Fast Ethernet.
    It is said there is a driver installed for it, but when I try to create a new internet connection, it tells me that no adapters are installed!

    I tried the site LAN driver, the last that appears is for windows 2000, I tried anyway according to the installation instructions, didn't work at all

    I watched the driver on the Intel Web site, she me tied to a PROWin32.exe file, I tried to install, it says I have no card compatible?

    This leads me into the wall. There must be a way to make this work.

    What WXP version do you have installed (service pack)?
    Have you consulted the Toshiba download page? This model is supported for Windows XP Home edition?

    (a) followed by editing according to the http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c02658990 it happens according to plan exccept that when windows 7 detects and tries to install the drivers, it fails. No details given on which iot fails. Troubleshooting process does not help

    (b) follow instructions as per http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c02681060 however, the installation wizard detects that the printer drivers are not installed and just leaves everything!

    Any suggestions on how to get this range of hp psc1210 printers work with my computer laptop windows 7 would be appreciated.

    First, clear the print queue of the printer.  If that doesn't work, post back with the complete error message, the brand and model of the printer, how it is connected to your computer and the version of Windows you have, including the service pack.
