  h. ensure that all check boxes are unchecked (check boxallow the computer to turn off this device to save power is off).

  I have a fairly new iPhone 6 which doesn't connect to iTunes when plugged into my Macbook. The pop-up message says this iphone requires a version update of iTunes and then she ordered me to go to itunes.com to download the update. The problem is that I've already updated!
