700 black upgrades

Can upgrade you the ram and ssd yourself on black 700?

Nice day.

Based on manual material: https://download.lenovo.com/consumer/mobiles_pub/ideapad_miix_700-12isk_hmm_201511.pdf

the RAM is integrated on the system board, but the SSD is removable.

Verification of an example of the SSD illustrated on page 58 via Google (Samsung MZNLN256HCHP) he returned as a form factor of 2280 m2 PM871 .

Hope this helps to clarify.

Kind regards.

It runs all the last generation games that I downloaded with ease, but struggles to run the latest games.

    Hello

Without changing the power supply, then find a NVIDIA GTX 750 model that does not require a PCI-E auxiliary power connector.  The NVIDIA GTX 750 is a very good graphics card for most of the games.

If you are looking for more performance than the NVIDIA GTX 750 then the NVIDIA GTX 970 and a 600 Watt power supply would be more adequate for almost all of the newest games.

  • HP Envy 700-249: upgrade graphics from GT635 to GTX960... I was wondering if computer supports

    Hello

I am looking to update my graphics card between a GeForce GT 635 a 960 GeForce GTX amp.

I was wondering if my computer would be able to support it, and if the card would fit well inside?

    My computer specs:

    HP Envy 700-249

    Intel Core i7-4770

    CPU @ 3.40 GHz

    12 GB of Ram

    Power: 460 W

    Thank you

    Mitchell

    Greetings,

Your PC BIOS will support the map.

You need a 6 connection pins on the map.

The card is a double slot and 9.5 inches in length. Check your turn measures and make sure that you can install a card double slot.

The food is fine, as long as you have a connection to pine trees six or eight available.

    NVIDIA provides an adapter.

Disable secure boot. Enable legacy start.

    See you soon!

  • HP ENVY 700-527c: upgrading of power supply and graphics card, need help

You just bought a NVIDIA - GeForce GTX 970 4 GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 Graphics Card - silver/black for my HP ENVY, but the food I have in my computer does not support this graphics card. So I was wondering if I bought the Black Corsair - CX series modular CX750M 750W ATX Power Supply - if it could fit in my computer and function properly with the graphics card and all the rest of the computer.

Almost thought you made a mistake, but you do not have BIOS rev 8 because this unit originally comes with WIN 8. The GTX 970 attracts only 145W. Corsair CX750M is3.39"x 5.91"x 6.30".  It is profoundly in your case, without connectors.   You have so much room between the existing power supply and connectors for DVD?  NVidia recommends a 500W, I would say the 600W modular version.   Its depth is 5.51 ".

  • Want to 700-214: upgrade of processor for a 700-214

This office is equipped with a processor i5-4440.  Full specifications are found here:

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c04100558

According to upgrade, I can upgrade all the way to an i7-4790 (Haswell).

    Two questions:

    1.) upgrade, this means a simple replacement 'drop-in '?

(2.) there seems to be a much more popular processor, the i7 - 4790 K.  This motherboard can be improved to the processor 4790K?

I asked Intel, but they said the motherboard manufacturer will know.

    Two questions:

1.) upgrade, this means a simple replacement 'drop-in '?  Yes.  However, you will need to ensure that you have cleaned the thermal compoud of the surface and the appropriate amount of base for the processor, as well as surface contact.

(2.) there seems to be a much more popular processor, the i7 - 4790 K.  This motherboard can be improved to the processor 4790K?  No, not according to specifications.  The "K" indicates that the CPU can be overclocked and HP BIOS' are do not support the OC'ing.  You would be spending money for an option that does not allow.

I asked Intel, but they said the motherboard manufacturer will know.

    @gengar, welcome to the forum.

Normally, and I say normally, if the processor is supported by the motherboard and the 17-4790, you should not have to update the BIOS.  However, if you do, here are HP software and driver downloads for the motherboard.  There are two updates to the BIOS.

  • HP Envy 700-327C: upgrade to windows 10

Windows 7 Pro (64) was preinstalled on my HP Envy.  It is configured to automatically install the Windows updates.  I have the app get Windows 10 and the icon appeared in my system tray indicating that I had booked the upgrade of the W10, but then he suddenly disappeared.  When I choose the upgrade of Windows in the list of programs all he used to reassure me that the upgrade of the W10 has been used, but now it's over.  The history of the update indicates that the upgrade to Windows 10 failed.  CIP 1 service is installed, and as far as I know, all the other critical windows updates.

How can I upgrade to Windows 10?

    Hello

July 29, 2015 is history now, do you still need this icon? Please go to the following link:

  • HP envy 700-214: upgrade CPU

I know that my motherboard supports updates through your web information. I'm curious to know if she can bear an i5 - 4690K? Current information shows that he accepts the 4670, need an updated BIOS and if so, HP will be out there?

    Len, welcome to the forum.

In the list of supported processors have been tested to ensure that they work properly in the motherboard.  If it is not on the list, it doen't mean that it won't work.  This means that there is no guarantee that it will work.  You're on your own.  The 'K' means that the multiplier is unlocked and it can be overclocked.  HP does not allow for overclocking on their motherboards; with the exception of their game computers.  You would pay for a feature that you can not use.

  • BLACK 700 - removing sticker goo left for account of bezel

I want to start with a compliment. LIKE the 700 BLACK. Now for the bad, stickers have been much too hard to peel off the coast of the upper right and right. Lenovo, you really need fix this. Business customers won't be happy having to clean the sticker well out of them.

Now to my question... How do I remove the screen. I used touch screens before but never had to clean a. Suggestions appreciated!

    Thanks in advance

We did some tests and found that citrus based cleaners work best to quickly and easily remove the residue left on the screen.

Just to let you know, the sticker is removed on the new deliveries of 700 black. So I hope that not too many people running in this issue. Glad you like the dark!

  • Upgrade of alienware worth x 51 R1?

Hello, I was with my r1 alienware x 51 for about 2 or 3 years and ive gotten really big in flight/conduct of sims games and now I'm planning on buying the Oculus Rift DK2 or the public version when it comes out. It is recommended that your system has NVIDIA GTX 970 / 290 AMD equivalent or higher, Intel i5-4590 equivalent or superior and 8 GB + RAM... None of which is in my current system.

It is better to upgrade what I have now (spending alittle over $700 to upgrade power 330w, RAM, CPU and GPU)? Or buy a different version of the x 51?

Which is more profitable and ultimately a better plan?

    Thank you!

    Hello

Because you need to update several major components on this system to use a rift DK2 Oculus, it might be better to buy a newer computer. You can customize your system on the Alienware website. He just go to www.Alienware.com, click Desktop, then find the Alienware X 51 model and click on where it says "build yours. In this way, you can configure the system to all these requirements. Let me know if you have any questions.

  • After the upgrade to Firefox 33.0 several present black Windows PCs with white surround when Firefox is started

All of our facilities improved to 33.0 this morning Firefox
Most of the users were then able to continue to use Firefox without problems
However, about 10% found that when they started Firefox, they were presented with black windows with white outline

This problem seems to be related to having an older version of the driver for the Intel HD Graphics 3000 card.

The solution is to upgrade the driver.

Temporary work is close to being to launch Firefox in Mode without failure, then uncheck "Use hardware acceleration when available" on the Options > advanced > general tab of the Firefox menu.
