8 cases of firefox opened at the launch, no closing 'don't save' confirmation, forgotten tabs

Recently I have not asks me if I want to SAP the tabs in ff when the browser is closed.

In addition, at the launch of ff he forgets the browser tabs

And finally opens of ff (more annoying), 8 cases during the launch.

How to bring back my old ff (work)?

I tried to uninstall ff and re - install ff and that did not help.

Thank you

Kevin

It is possible that there is a problem with the sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak files in the Firefox profile folder.

Delete the sessionstore.js file [2] and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox profile folder.

If you see files sessionstore-# .js with a number in the left part of the name as sessionstore - 1.js then delete those as well.
Delete sessionstore.js will cause App Tabs and tab groups and opened and closed the tabs (back) to get lost, so you will need to create them again (take note or bookmarks).

  • When a link to open another application and firefox is closed, Firefox opens but the link does not work

I use Firefox on Mac OS 10.9.2, 29, this problem has occurred on the OS 10.8 ~ and various other versions of FF. I use 29 simply because I like it!

The problem: Firefox is configured as the default browser in all directions it is possible to set as the default value. However, when I click on a URL from any application and Firefox is closed, Firefox opens opens, my last session of navigation tabs start, but the link does not open. I must return to the application and click the link again. This only happens on Firefox. I can put any other default browser and it will open the link in a closed state.

This is happening to me, same, on Mac OS X 10.6.8 but only since I've upgraded to the latest version of Firefox, 32.0.1. I can click on a HTTP link in another application and Firefox becomes the active application, but it will not load a new tab for the link, as expected. Instead, it just sits there. I have to go back to the other application and click on the link a second time, during which point Firefox correctly open a new tab and load the destination URL.

This line in the userContent.css file should hide the bar:

    "@-moz - document url("about:home") {#launcher {display: none! important}}"

When you look at the profiles.ini it seems that Firefox has rebuilt itself to search a different folder... 2lbb5bu1.default - 1348169446250.

Can someone come up with an idea to get rid of the taskbar Launcher on the bottom of my Google home page? THHHAAAAAANNNNK you!

This line should be in userContent.css and still works for me in Firefox 16

Customization files (interface) userChrome.css and userContent.css (Web sites) are located in the chrome folder in the Firefox profile folder.

You can use this button to go to the Firefox profile folder:

    • Help > troubleshooting information > profile directory: see file
    @-moz-document url(about:home){ #launcher { display:none!important; } }

Should I have the Firefox button? Do I still need it?

    Hi sanfran.

The Firefox button can be turned on/off at will. To activate it, you can just go to view > toolbars and turn off the menu bar. This article will guide you in the process.

By using the menu of Firefox is really just a personal preference. There is no advantage 'real' use it or not.

    Hope this helps!

  • 8.0 Firefox opens with the page size I have to zoom x 4 - every time.

Whenever I open Firefox or Gmail, the page is way too small. I have to type Ctrl + four times for him to return to the size that it was before I upgraded to 8.0. This happens EVERY time opening.

You can use an extension to set a page zoom and the size of the default font on the web pages.

  • Firefox opens on the google page but cannot connect. I tried to download new firefox... worked for 3 days then nothing again

My computer opens internet Explorer, but not firefox, a browser that I used almost exclusively on this machine for several years. I ran my Macafee, threw some unwanted cookies and still nothing in Firefox. I deleted firefox and reinstalled the latest edition of Firefox, keeping my old settings and Favorites. It worked great for a week and then the same problem woke. When I click on the Firefox icon, my Google search page opens, but will not connect and I get this message:

"Unable to connect to server www.google.com.

Same message regardless of what I'm trying to connect. Internet Explorer works fine

Installed this version on 7 August and he stipped work yesterday. Latest websites I visited was county offices, search of records, if that helps

Try to check your firewall rules. See the following page:

  • Firefox opens to the blank page, no icons, buttons do not work?

I updated Firefox to the latest version, but it was interrupted and I had to reboot my computer. Now Firefox does not at all. The menu bookmarks and all buttons add-on are missing and not doing anything when you click it. The browser opens a blank page. When I right click on anything all these options appear like play, watch the video, picture, ect. I can't open it in safe mode or refresh. I tried to restart my computer. I would uninstall and reinstall if I have to, but how do I get my favorites before doing this? Or a solution to this without having to do it would be great.

    Thank you!

First thing is of course to make a backup. Bookmarks and much more are stored in your profile: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profiles-where-firefox-stores-user-data.

The sounds of damaged beyond installation assistance if Safe Mode does not work. What you describe with clicks behavior as there is a huge video above all. What I would try opens a new tab with Ctrl + T and see if that did anything. If the display still does not respond, or behaves strangely, I ran malware controls, https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-caused-malware#w_how-do-i-get-rid-of-malware. (Yes, all scanners, just a good idea isn't always enough)

Relocation is probably easier and faster than trying to modify and repair what has been broken.

  • which carriers you can use on a phone ZTE C Firefox open to the United States?

I bought a phone open Firefox ZTE c and want to know which carriers will work
At the moment I have straight talk and I was also wondering about 10 net.
or simple mobile. I'm not a person to contract now if anyone can help?

    Hi nirtana77,

    That is right.

If your carrier of choice has no 3G coverage where you are, or if the carrier does not support frequencies 3G mentioned above, you will be connected via GSM (2G) network.

If, however, you use a network that supports the above mentioned frequencies and you are in an area where 3G coverage, then you will be connected via HSDPA (3G) network.

I also suggest you contact the carrier network to confirm what radio frequencies are used, because they will be able to provide more accurate and up to date. =)

I hope you find this information useful.

    Thank you

  • Firefox opens only the websites via the url link, don't even try to connect via the address bar.

I can only open Firefox Web sites by using a url link. If I try to type something into the address bar it not even trying to load the page, no circle of loading, no error or no connection message. I'm on youtube.com and I type in Google.com and tape INPUT. Nothing happens. Nothing. I hit the key twice in the same direction. I can open new empty tabs, but cannot get the address bar to work. I can right-click on videos and make them properly open in new tabs or windows, but the address bar refuses to do anything.
Internet Explorer works perfectly fine however. Despite the announcements.

I've updated reinstalled disabled my firewall, restarted firefox, restarted my computer, has not done jack diddly squat. If anyone has an idea of what's going on here, I would highly appreciate your help.

When I open numbers or all Pages open as well.  They are displayed on the dock below.

How we prevent open while opening a single file all the files?  I have a powerup?

If the documents were open when you previously exit numbers or Pages you can prevent them from re - open automatically when you start by going to the Apple menu > System Preferences > General and put a check mark in front of "Close windows when you exit an application.

  • Bridge opens on the launch

OK so first I use a mac, OS X El Capitan. I downloaded creative cloud, downloaded bridge and it opens fine. However, I went to install the 'exit' missing extension, which did not work. And after that this bridge has never been opened again. I click to open it and it bobs up and down like its going to open but then disappears, no error message at all. I tried to erase the preferences, I put the settings on my user to read and write. I also used the cleaner creative cloud where I uninstalled photoshop, bridge and cloud creative, rebooted my macbook cleaned apps and removed the preferences for creative cloud, restarted again. Tried to open the bridge and NOPE.

  • Why my Beta Firefox open a comand prompt when closed?

Since a week or two each time when I close my Firefox browser a command prompt appears for a short time. It isn't really an embarrassment, but apparently not in order.

Judging by the title of the window, it's something to do with the recording of my browser profile.

    Thanks in advance.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance).

    • Do NOT click on the reset button on the startup window Mode safe or make changes.
