91 error to the database for data Variant

This issue was raised after that I "solved" this problem earlier today: http://forums.ni.com/ni/board/message?board.id=170&thread.id=446931

Now, I get the above error message on all functions 'DB retrieves the element '...

I have the polymorphic option off - as I have it set to automatic... The stored procedure in the above case is trying to choose a 0 or a 1, Boolean values ala. However, this is not the only point of failure. Actually, I get this error on each item to search, using 4 data types: Boolean, String, I32 and DBL...

Can you see what I'm doing wrong? I spose I'll upload my VI, but you will not necessarily be able to see the data of my STORED procedure is back...

OK, this problem occurred because the stored procedure has been throwing up on my settings input parameter, unbenouced for me until I entered the code...

The reason why I was getting this error was that I believe because I was getting a NULL Recordset...

After that, I fixed my problem of input parameter, this large all worked.

We have EMP 11.1.2.1 and EAS worked very well. We applied successfully patches of SAE 13904635 and 13904640.
However, after you apply the patch, we received the error
Error: 0: the database does not accept a connection
For example, when connect us to EAS and click the EssbaseCluster1 under "Essbase Server" node we don't get something, like the list of application as such. We just get the error log.
What could be the problem, is there anything, we had to do after you apply the hotfix?
The essbase server seems to be running so we can pull the reports in the workspace and all.

How to check the growth of the database for a database on ASM?

I have been using the following script to check the growth of the database (for DBs on file system):

And I think that he always gave me good results until I ran this script on a database (10.2.0.5) on ASM.

Is it because the databases on the ASM are maintaied differently, OR do most proabbly there was no activity on this database in the last 7 days? I even ran this query for last 90/180 / day and it is me again after results:

I have no reason to believe tablespaces under ASM are maintained differently, so the most likely explanation is the change in the activity of the DB.

What is your AWR retention? The default value is 7 days, so if yours is set to the default value, and then by running the query for 90/180 days you would not give more information.

If you want to get the output of your scripts, you may need to adjust the AWR retention and your tablespace SYSAUX respectively.

If the DB is managed by Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM), you can make tablespace forecast based on the measurements taken by the OEM. I did a presentation on this (NYOUG, VirtaThon) just now:

Since last night find it me impossible to log in on my Skype.

You can connect to the connection of database for all reports through the workspace of HFM.

Variant of the database of data does not not when converting from 2010 to 9 LV

I have a simple code I made in 2010 LV for the display of the worksheet of MS access data in a table in which I used the tool of DATABASE DATA VARYING. But when I converted this file a LV 9 VI and open in another computer running the wires connecting the tool data terminal with LV 9, SELECT DATA and basic tool of DATA OF DATA VARIANT are broken. Error message is of Type 1: table 2d and type 2 is zero. Open the converted file even in 2010 LV gives no error and works well. Can someone please tell me what can I do to fix this problem.

RMAN backup on the database with data file with corrupted block

Hi friends,
I have a problem with a database of oracle 11g XE on windows server 2003, the database is in production, it is open, is operating normally.
The database has no backup configured before, so I put the database archiving mode and tried to backup using rman utility, but it show me some errors.
First of all, it showed me:
ORA-19501: error in reading file... SYSAUX. DBF
ORA-27070: async read/write failed
OSD-04016: error queuing an asynchronous i/o request.
And when I passed the dbv on the SYSAUX file utility. DBF showed the fatal error.
So, I switched CHKDSK utility on windows to repair the disc of the error. After that, run utility dbv and he passed and showed me the corrupt on SYSAUX blocks. DBF
Then, came to rman and ran:

It would be better if you try to find the reason of corruption and try to recover the corrupt blocks. A block corrupted in the backup would really not must use. But if you're ready to take backup, you can ask RMAN to ignore corrupt blocks and move forward.

Restrict access to the database for the upgrade of the application

Hi all
We're performing an upgrade of the application that requires us to perform a lot of scripts on our server Oracle EE 11.2.0.4.
This specific database has around a website based end and a front end based client, but it is also accessible on the network through TNS SQLPLUS/Toad, ODBC, JDBC etc.
For obvious reasons, the upgrade, I want to make sure that no one else that the DBA can access the database. Usually change us the listening port of 1521 to let say 1544. This prevents all access.
But now we run in a physical Data Guard with two Standby configuration so I don't really want to play with the listener ports. The upgrade must propagate changes from primary to Standby. I could interrupt them temporarily, but I would like to avoid that if possible.
Another way I thought would work was to stop the database and open it in restricted mode. But before that, I would need to grant the privilege of the Session to RESTRICT all users upgrade scripts using (around 5 users).
This approach using the restricted mode seems reasonable?
Other opinions would be much appreciated.

Hey Steffi,

I don't know any tables db HSS that contain this timestamp. The CSS_GROUP_MEMBERS table lists groups/members, but no other information. There are the timestamps for the CSS_USERS and CSS_GROUPS tables, but they show only when Aboriginal users/groups have been created and updated.

The best way to record this information for your next audit would be to enable auditing of Shared Services. To do this:
- HSS > Administration > configure audit
- Enable audit value
- Select the items that you want to audit (Directory Management has elements such as 'Assign the user as a member of the group' and 'Remove user as a member of the group'
- Restart the Services

4. Meanwhile I backed up the database and the same transferd on the location of DR and then I created the standbycontrolfiel using the command on the priamary with login sys server using the command:
alter database create standby controlfile as ' / path ';
5. my primary increased using the pfile of said file.
6.I was also able to put my DR in phase nomount using the pfile above file
7.i transferred the controlfile to the location appropriate server DR and when I'm putting DR db using:
alter database base_de_donnees eve of Mount;
I get the below mentioned error
SQL > alter database base_de_donnees eve of Mount;
change the basis of mountain rescue

ERROR on line 1:
ORA-01103: the name "ETTEST" in the control of the database file is not "ETTESTDR"

Not the same as the database to date!

Hi all
I changed my field of timestamp data type date in mysql as I wanted to get rid of the time after the date. I changed the cfqueryparam to cf_sql_date cfsqltype, and well now updates the correct date in the database without any time: 2012-06-30
When I pulled out the value in my form, however it shows another deadline for some strange reason:
Fri Jun 29 23:00:00 GMT - 0500 2012
This is the code I use to get the date who has always worked fine with the correct date. I took care to remove anything in the rest of my code that could affect the result of the database:

UPDATE: I did a cfdump on the request and the file in question shows this value in the cfdump but not on the page:

Why do I receive the wrong date, what I owe dateformat MEETING.text or something? Quite why the date would be changed I don't understand at all. Thanks for the pointers!

Thanks to my hosts to hostek, they found the solution!

I do not have lelien to the original post, but you can find it by Googling CFGRID display of Date problems. Here are the solutions!

1. When you store the date in the database, enter a duration. In my case, setting the time of noon worked for me because my users are all located in the

Continental of the United States (so the offset would be ever more then 12 hours - note side that I'm too lazy to look for - can offset never be greater than 12)

2. when the date, the mark to add a date in your query in order to correct the offset.

3. after questioning, loop on the column in the query and make a date add to correct the offset.

4. I guess you can always convert the varchar date in the query, but Flash could even confuse a date? In addition, tri would be probably

broken... this one is probably not a good idea anyway.
