  I think they are third party plugins and reduce the size of the interpolations. Is it simple? Old school? Is motion guide, a better way to tween than that?

  Tween engines are collections of code used to create animations.  Examples of tweening engines would be TweenLite, Tweener, Tween Max, and I suppose there are others (not sure if Tweener is still there).  Flash has a built-in tweening engine called the Tween class... so it is something that you could start by just to get a taste for working with interpolation coded instead of the interpolation of the timeline.

  Since 'Interpolation' only research will probably show versions of the timeline... I suggest Google search using terms like 'Flash tutorial class Tween' to get some information on using the Tween class.  Once you have an idea of what it does, you might prefer to go the engines of interpolation of third parties who are supposed to be better performing implementations.

• Cavio external HD Basics - need special cable?

  I just got a brand-new Basics Canvio 500 GB, and, despite I have read on many questions about the USB connection and stability, I'll just say that after a few days, I meet no particular problem, but I have a question.

  I tried borrowed drive, next to the help of the supplied cable with it, also with:

  -A standard 'A to Micro-B' cable Superspeed
  -One standard USB 2.0 Type a microphone cable

  It's because I keep the same cable connected to my PC (which has currently only USB 2.1 connections) and use it to different USB devices.

  Now, the Toshiba drive is having problems with both of them (intermittent loss of connection, slow/jerkyness data transfer and so forth).
  A Western Digital external hard drive works perfectly with the two cables mentioned above, next to his own.

  So, the question is, the Canvio Basics needs special cables to work properly and, if so, if I need a replacement, where can I find a cable that is certified to work correctly with him or is totally compatible anyway?

  The answer found myself... After about a month the HD's * very * slowly.

• VI dialog box needs a banner

  I have a VI user dialog box that needs a banner at the top in a large font size. Is it possible to do this without a command or the indicator?

  It would be great if I could do a silk screen and slap it on the entire page diagonally which says 'No. Production', but a simple banner at the top in red will do. The label of the decorations group is too small and seems to have no size/color adjustment property.

  Use a free label. Set the font, size and color in the font menu in the toolbar.

  If you did the regular Flash expandable ads then its almost the same thing, save that his canvas. I suggest you look at the Gallery of Googles Richmeda for examples and templates based on your size needs. I admit its been hard to find someone who knows how to implement correctly, as this seems to be a matter of cases currently. We did creative canvas until this week when AOL media suddenly told us that we were doing it wrong, of course after 5 months of builds. It seems that Google Web Designer or animate dashboard are just two methods accept most publishers as of late.

  Has anyone ever had any problems with ads banner pointing to landing pages built in Adobe Muse?
  Right now my company has a banner ad which is set to go live soon, and specifications want to point to an extension beginning with 'https' while on the site "http" and error if you put an "s" at the end.
  Is there something that can be done on my end through code? Or should I reach out to our server team?

  HTTPS is a Protocol, not a design feature. Indeed, you need to configure your server as a result.

• How to make level HTML banner ads

  I did a ton of Flash banner at the level of the Agency over the years, but I'm trying to figure out how to create html banners now, and more.

  Here's the HTML Ad specification requirements:

  -HTML code should not exceed 3 k

  -2 images maximum, total size of the image file should not exceed 20 k

  In Flash, I used for these extensions to publish and find that it is difficult to meet the specifications required by the animators of the announcement:

  1. CreateJS (creates a small html file (3 k or less), but it needs to be linked to js files that are double what would be my swf)

  2. Swiffy (puts just a nice simple html file, but it has almost three times the size of my swf to 86ko)

  I also used:

  Animate dashboard (creates an html file, but also links to js files that are double what would be my swf).

  Either my animations must become less complex way or am I missing something in this new animated ads html world.  It seems that little information can be found on how to make banners html at the agency level.

  Can someone tell me or point me in the right direction?

  What I ended up doing was a straight-up html don't file... any calling on the image or js files.   I did it with Google swiffy.  I had to limit my content and original animation about 50% of what it was in the Flash file to meet the 40 k specification.

  Placement in the media only required a html file.  That's why I went this route.

  You'll have to float a native video element of HTML above the scene. Here is a simple code to handle this kind of thing:

  You can create HTML5 compatible banner using Flash Canvas. GWD has the ability to load directly on your DCM account if you use their software. You're not limited to only using GWD.
