  I get an 'unknown' with a big blue? on my map network between my computer and the router.

  unchecked some v6 button
  not all users connected
  just abot all I've read about this.

  I had the same big blue mark on several of my machines and know that the bonjour service is not installed on any of them - all clean installed Win7, Win2k8R2 and Win7Home.  The only thing they had in common was RealTek network cards (or at least that's how they are marked in Device Manager).

  If your NETWORK card is a RealTek PCie or similar, you could try going to Device Manager and click on the Advanced tab of the RealTek network device.  There you should be able to navigate down to an entry labeled "priority and VLAN.  If activated, try to define this VLAN enabled.  I could do this fix on 3 of my machines with RealTek NIC and it seems that the problems of mapping network disappeared.

  [I'm not saying that the bonjour service is not causing a? mark for others, but I got no Hello on my machines.]  The fix above eliminated the? all cards on all the machines in my network].

  Remove Safari from the dock icon. Then, go to your Applications folder and launch Safari from this location.

  Remove the Dock and navigate to your Macintosh HD > users > yourusername folder, drag them to the dock of this place.

  The icon on your desktop is not a link to the new Photoshop. It connects the old path of 2014. Change the link or create a new shortcut.

• iMac G3 tray charger stuck on the gray screen with question mark flashing folder

  I recently bought an iMac G3 (charger tray, 333 MHz, M4984) and when I try to boot from an OS installation disc 10.3, there will remain only blocked on the gray screen with folder flashing with the question mark. Not only it does not maintain the keys C or Option, but it will not start up any combination of keys, such as resetting the PRAM or the NVRAM. It just starts and stays on the screen with the flashing folder does nothing. It CAN read the keyboard, because I can turn on the computer with the keyboard, it just won't start to the top of any disk or any combination of keys. Any ideas on what could be the problem? I just replaced the hard drive, but it was the same before I replaced the hard drive as well.   It took charger slot, but I think that optional for the bin.  I think that you can upgrade the firmware with 8.6 for trays.

  You may need to reset the PRAM and NVRAM and Mac's Open Firmware. Stop the Mac, then it turns on and before the screen lights up, quickly down the command, Option, P, and R keys, until the Mac rang twice more after the power to chime.

  Then, before that lights up the screen, hold down the command-Option-O-F until the Open Firmware appears. Then enter these lines, and then press return after each of them:

  Reset-nvram

  Configure default

  Reset-all

• Gray boxes with question marks

  When I find some PDF files, a grey box with a red question mark inside appears. I can't move, modify or delete these boxes. I searched on the web and most of the responses indicated that these boxes indicate corrupted images, but my documents have no images. Mine appear at the beginning and end of text blocks. They do not appear in the thumbnail view. I am running Acrobat Professional, version 8.1.

  What are these boxes and how do I get rid of them?

  A little more information, to ensure the excellent diagnostic monitoring.

  When Acrobat opens a PDF file and it finds the annotations of an unknown type it shows these boxes. How have to disappear (or anything else) is to install a plug-in of specific designed to show them.

  Older versions of Acrobat just show nothing at all.

  Acrobat 5 would show nothing.

  Acrobat 7 would show the boxes.

• Question mark flashing at startup

So, do a quick search on the old smartphone and find out how to get into recovery mode.  Go to the utility disk and look for my HARD drive, but he's not here.  Only disk 0 and then below Base of OS X system, something like that, don't remember what he said exactly.  Yes, I knocked at the realization that my HARD drive is erased, but I wonder if it is indeed cleared or if some kind of virus or something could have caused this and that, somewhere, my HARD drive is still intact.  I know it's probably a long shot and wishful thinking, but I'm exploring all the possibilities before you restore from my backup.  I have not saved in a few months, so I really hope this is the case, because I've probably lost some important stuff...

• Acrobat Reader plugin signature yellow question mark

  I develop a plugin for digital signature (mainly for the reader but should work as well in Acrobat format). I have a basic proof of concept works, with the signing and verification and custom signature appearance, but I am getting a yellow question mark great displayed behind my appearance.

  I've seen other posts on this forum who suggested the certificate must be approved, but I did and I always get the question mark.

  What could I do it wrong? What should I do to make the question mark disappears?

  (I'm in dev/test with Acrobat Reader DC and a certificate self-signed on Windows 10.)

  Answered my own question (with a little help from this forum and the good people at Adobe):

  The value default, kindly added by Acrobat/Reader, for the layer of n1, if I do not set anything, is this big ol' ' point yellow question mark. The solution is simply to make optional the L1 layer and the question mark disappears.

• Why am I always question marks?

  All but a few of my photo files are unusable.  There is a question mark in the upper left corner of the image and I tried all the methods that was suggested to me and nothing works.  I try to reconnect, but I do not reconnect.  There must be a way to do this.  Any suggestions or magic tricks?  I hope so.  Very frustrating... doc

  The only solution is to get them reconnected.

  Instead of pictures (or), I get a blue square with a question mark in it.

  This does not happen with all Web sites, but I wonder why it's happening with an Apple site, and how I can see the photos.

  It sounds like a broken image link.

  Post a screenshot if you can, so that we can confirm. The page seems OK after a glance. Command + shift + 4 then do slide on the affected area, add the image to the desktop to this site via the camera icon.

  If you have browser extensions, disable them and repeat the test. Also try a different web browser if possible to see if it is the scale of the system or only Safari. Is - this Safari you use?
