  Try disabling hardware acceleration in Firefox.

• I have Firefox version 25.0 installed in our system of WIN 7. The browser opens with the Firefox Start Page, even though I put the home page

• I can't launch the flashplayer with the firefox 13.0r0 28.0. I've tried EVERYTHING! I can also not long-term archived player just told me to update.

  You can check for problems with the current versions of the plugin Shockwave Flash and try this:

  • Disable protected mode in the plugin Flash (Flash 11.3 + on Windows Vista and later versions)

  The tab bar is not the tail with the drop-down list button, and nothing I've tried yet fixed.

  - Restarting with add-ons disabled
  - Checking for any toolbars to hide/unhide
  

  I have not yet tried to do a full uninstall/reinstall again because, well, that would be a little pain.

  I double checked and do not have disabled the Visual Editor in the preferences of the user. With this clue on the head, I checked and uncked again to see no matter what chnges. None. I disconnected my user and logged on as another user (with privileges to edit, of course). No change, either.

  Yes, I rebooted without extensions or themes (manually disabled) and in safe mode. In both cases, I get the same: without Visual + HTML tab in post editor in Wordpress. I double checked and I have a Visual Editor in Opera and Chrome.

  I checked with WebDev tool and see some - moz-* rules of the errors in the log. Some rules were dropped while the page is loading. Some CSS3 rules are not treated, as the width of the tabs? I'm guessing...

  I'm glad to hear that you want to learn how be a web dev! You'll love the possibilities with HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript. in any case, to do what you want, perform these steps of in Notepad:

  File > save as... > type your file name with l'extension.html/.htm. Like this:
  myfile001.html or myfile001.htm. > save

  Now open your file Explorer and right click on myfile001.html. Select open with > Firefox. Firefox will launch and display your Web page.

  Or, you can enter the location of the file to Firefox Awesome bar and press ENTER. Best wishes!

  I had the same problem. That's what I have been told by the company that hosts my site. This is something for the guys of your IT to fix.

  "I would therefore conclude that the solution to this problem (on Linux systems running Apache) is to add the directive AddDefaultCharset utf-8 on the site's .htaccess file or the Apache config. The advantage of the latter is that it affects only the individual sites. The Apache default character set comes from the file of locale on Linux and defaults to iso-8859-1. It is the conflict between the Apache header with iso-8859-1 and utf-8 character page, which obviously causes problems Firefox. »

  In a post on the chrissy_tissy forum added

  My machine is Windows, but this still worked correction - some notes on post-porn the fix:

  1. make the fix itself (httpd.conf: AddDefaultCharset utf-8).

  2. restart the box to apply the hotfix.

  3. once the box is restarted, clear your FireFox cache to ensure that you do not continue to see the cached file.

  You try to install an old or new Version of Super Start?
  On the web site of the developer, I read that older versions of Super Start will not work if you have the add-on "Tab Mix Plus" installed, even if the info was pretty obsolete - in my humble opinion.

  However I installed the latest version (found here: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/super-start/ ) on my Firefox v 38.0.5 and it works.
