A combination of keys to neutralize the spelling corrector function?

I want to keep the spelling auto-correcteur.  But I don't want to have to stop and take the mouse and click on the small X whenever I want to replace the spellchecker, which is usually about once a sentence.

Is there some sort of typing easy to neutralize the spell checker when he tells me he wants to spell out a word differently?

Or maybe there's another protocol... where I can disable the spell checker with a strike, writer a paragraph and then he hits on... See all little red words and DECIDE which ones I want to fix?

All ears,

Ben

Use the key "esc".

    Hello Bryan,

Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community Forum.

    1. It was working fine before? If YES, then you did important equipment or modifications to the software on the computer before this problem?
    2. What is the brand and model of your system?

The slowness of your system may be due to various reasons, including viral infections, interventions of third-party software or a hardware problem with the mouse or the keyboard. So, to refine the diagnosis, I would suggest trying the following steps and check if the problem persists.

    Method 1:

Step 1: Try to start your system in a State of services necessary to the operation and a minimum set of drivers enabled, called Safe Mode.
Start your computer in safe mode http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-in/Windows/Start-computer-safe-mode#start-computer-safe-mode=Windows-7

Step 2: If the system works fine in safe mode, try to clean the system startup:

How to perform a clean boot in Windows

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135

Note: See "How to reset the computer to start normally after a boot minimum troubleshooting" to reset the computer to start as usual after a repair.

    Method 2:

The issue may be due to an infection by the virus. So, you can also run the Microsoft Safety Scanner to make sure that the computer is free of infections:
    http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx

    Note:
The Microsoft Safety Scanner ends 10 days after being downloaded. To restart a scan with the latest definitions of anti-malware, download and run the Microsoft Safety Scanner again.
The data files that are infected must be cleaned only by removing the file completely, which means that there is a risk of data loss.

Hope this information is useful. If the problem still persists, please post back for further assistance, we will be happy to help you.

  • Combination of keys start crisis of victory for Satellite L850 - 1 k 0 - no boot after BIOS FLASH

    Hello!
Someonw does know which key boot combination work for the L850 - 1 k 0?
I flashed a modded bios that works first, then the settings changed for the graphics card, stop and here's the laptop with black screen (to the external monitor VGA or HDMI).

Now I try to reflash original BIOS (6.8 InsydeH20) with wincrisis (which should boot from usb, which would be indicated by the led flashing on the usb port), but there are certain key combinations that is held over the power that differ: I tried with the ones I found Googling for similar models, Fn + Esc Fn + Esc, Windows + F, Windows + B, Fn + B - but nothing has worked, no activity to usb.

If someone know the combination of work as this model L850 - 1 k 0?
I have not found something looking for it online!

    Help would be very appreciated!

    Thank you!
    Timmtomm

    Hi TIMMTOMM,

Were you able to start the original bios?
My Toshiba l850-1w9 PSKDNE is the same as yours, (only difference drive HARD and OS), I did not start a bios from USB and I do not know the combinations for her but there is an article about how to start the bios modded on the net, but I don't think they will be posted here. Simply search for bios modded to the l850 and leave aside the 1 k 0.

And just a quick guess you did install a modded bios to activate the video card integrated CPU, so you can use it to Miracast, or something like?

  • Door key lost in the time machine backup

    Dear community,

Because I had trouble with the speed of my MacBook Pro (and nothing else developed), I had to set up entirely new.

Before installing El Capitan, my MacBook Pro (starting 2011) ran on Yosemite 10.10.5. I made two backups with time machine, generated a bootable El Capitan installation USB key, in format Macintosh HD, installed at El Capitan and ran all the updates. The system works well, everything works perfectly and my Mac is fast again. Now, I manually copy things that I need in my system of charges.

Here, the problem is: I can't find the old keychain file in the time machine backup!

Keychain works with the keys stored in iCloud. However, the other buttons are gone.

As I discovered, ~/Library/Keychains is hidden. I did it visible on my system running. However, this does not work in the backup file. It remains hidden or - worse - have not been stored in the backup. I don't know that I have excluded from time machine backup only two totally different folders (dropbox and movies).

You have any ideas how I can find my keychain (login.keychain if my search was right) in the time machine backup?

Thanks a lot for your help!

Time Machine, please press the shift-command-C key combination. The windshield will show the mounted volumes. All snapshots should now be accessible. Select the one you want and search for files to restore.

If you need to restore from a backup of the hidden user library folder, first select a snapshot, and then press shift-command-G. A go to the folder dialog box opens. In this document, you enter the path to the folder. The dialog box will help you by automatically filling parts of the path when you start typing.

The path starts with the slash character ("/"). Enter that. The rest of the parts is separated by slashes.

The next part is the date and time of the current snapshot. Enter a '2', and the rest of the date should be filled in automatically. Press the right arrow key to access the end of the path. Enter a slash to start the next game.

Next is the volume name (usually "Macintosh HD" unless you assigned a different name.) Start typing, then jump to the end and enter a slash.

The next part is 'Users', followed by a slash.

Then is your short user name. It is also the name of your home folder, which is represented by an icon of the House in the sidebar of a Finder window.

Finally, enter "Library", and then press return. You should now be in the library folder. From there, you can move like in the Finder. You can also select another snapshot of the same folder.

  • Combine events "Key Down" and "ValueChange?

    Hello

I have a string control box where a bar code is entered. I want to discover two events that should trigger the same action:

Event 1: Loss of Focus (= change value)

For example, someone focuses on the channel control unit and changes a number, and then puts the focus (without pressing). At the time where the focus is more, this event is raised.

    Case 2: Enter"" key.

In any time you press the key "enter" in the area of control of chain. I can filter Vcle to check whether or not it is the "enter" key. For example, a user could bring out the code bar and press ENTER to specify the barcode must remain unchanged.

My problem is, I need to trigger the two events, but only once.

If I have two events separate case, 2 event will raise also 1 event, so my action will be spooled twice. Not good.

I'm not yet sure how to combine two cases of event in a unique event, which triggers only once on 'enter keypress' or "lost focus, change the alias value". Any suggestions?

    See below. Thank you!

    Switch to dynamically registered events:

Note that you must pass the dynamic events in the event sources list:

Then, after each event, unregister and then register again for events.  If there was an event in the queue's duplicate, this will destroy it.

  • I have my product key, but not the cd of windows!

    Greetings to all!

OK, 2 years ago, I bought my laptop. He gave me the laptop but he gave me the windows cd so I can format it and I was pretty beginner do not ask. The thing is that the laptop has the product key (25 digit code) on the real sticker on the back side of the laptop. Then... I want to format my laptop... What are my choices because I don't have the cd? A friend told me that I can download a windows evaluation version and install it and then put my product key where he will ask. Can someone help me? I can't find the right link to download windows. I'm looking 'Windows XP Professional 1-2CPU' sticker product key says. Help :(

    No, it will not work.

    1. most laptops have a factory to restore the image on a special partition on the hard drive. To call the factory restore process, a general starts the computer and press a key of function (such as F10) or a combination of keys (such as Alt + F11). Search tech support website of the computer laptop mftr. to know how to restore your computer if you plant and then do it after saving your data.

    2. If the factory restore image does not exist or does not work, contact technical support of computer laptop mftr. and see if they will sell you a set of recovery disks. This will normally very expensive, around $20-25.

3 otherwise, either buy a full copy of what version of XP you want (XP Home is less expensive than XP Pro and is fine for most people) and do a clean install of Windows. The copy of the detail will be its own product key that you will use. After installation, be sure to install all the drivers for your laptop. You will get drivers to computer mftr's technical support Web site.

    4. the only other alternative would be to take your computer to a local technician who can install Windows using a generic OEM installation disc or brand. Of course, it will be free, and you will not have the OS disk to keep later, so this isn't really the best scenario for you. #1 or #2 are the best choices. • How can I re - install vista without the disc, because I only have the key encoded on the computer.

How can I reinstall vista without the disc and remove windows 7 (an illegal version) also without the disc. I have only the original vista coded key stuck on the computer when the vista system installed on the purchase of the computer. My daughter was not happy with vista and had someone to install windows 7, which turned out to be an illegal version.

    Hello

If you have a recovery partition likely has been cleared by installing Windows 7.

You can try the recovery partition, no guarantees.

There is no Windows Vista downloads available from Microsoft.

You can contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send you a set of recovery disks.

They should do this for a small fee.

To reinstall Vista using their recovery disk/s, you start from the 1st recovery disk they provide and follow the manufacturer's instructions to reinstall:

You need to change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order:

How to change the Boot order in BIOS:

    http://pcsupport.about.com/od/fixtheproblem/SS/bootorderchange.htm

"How to replace Microsoft software or hardware, order service packs and replace product manuals.

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/326246

And if you have never received a recovery disk when you bought your computer, there should be a recovery Partition on the hard drive to reinstall Vista on how you purchased your computer.

The recovery process can be started by pressing a particular combination of the key or keys at startup. (Power on / start)

    Maybe it's F10, F11, Alt + F10, etc., depending on the manufacturer.

Ask them to the proper key sequence.

Some manufacturers have more available Vista recovery disks.

If this happens, you may need to try this instead:

You can also borrow and use a Microsoft Vista DVD, which contains the files for the different editions of Vista (Home Basic, Home Premium, Business and Ultimate) must be installed. The product key on your computer / Laptop box determines what Edition is installed.

Other manufacturers recovery DVDs are should not be used for this purpose.

And you need to know the version of 'bit' for Vista, as 32-bit and 64-bit editions come on different DVDs

Here's how to do a clean install of Vista using a DVD of Vista from Microsoft:

"How to do a clean install and configure with a full Version of Vista '

    http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/117366-clean-install-full-version-Vista.html

And once the operating system is installed, go to your computer manufacturer's website and get the latest drivers for your particular model or laptop computer.

And phone Activation may be necessary when you use the above installation method.

"How to activate Vista normally and by Activation of the phone '
