  Getting back to your version of LR without the menu of 'Base '.

  Right click (or Cmd click) on any of the other topics in the sidebar to develop (for example: "Tone curve").  Then again select the ' basic' box on the shortcut menu that appears.

• Develop module options simply missing

  I'm new to Lightroom - just downloaded v.4 a few days ago and love it.  Earlier, I installed OnOne presets (free package recommended by the site Web of Lightroom). When I open Lightroom after installing, my options of the develop module had changed - few options, no option of "shadow" (now it is called "recovery"), etc.  I uninstalled OnOne but the problem is the same as before.  Any ideas?   Your images are in process Version 2010.  Change them to 2012 for new tools.

• develop module navigate through photo detachment

  LR5 using in the develop module, I'm trying to find an easier way to navigate the photo soon 2:1 or 3:1 to remove stains.  I'm trying to scroll down and pretend I'm doing lines or columns.  It takes a long time to scroll the whole photo looking stains remove.  Y at - it a shortcut or a way to select the quadrant by quadrant photo to see up close, so that I do not miss anything and get carpal?  Like the shot just a button to go to the next section, rather than using my mouse/touchpad?  I use a macbook air, thank you.

  The keys Page Up and Page Down, which will do for you. When you zoom in they scroll and down one screen at a time, and then through the image in columns. For example, to what Page Down hits the bottom of a column, it will be automatically forwarded to the upper part of the following. In addition, the key of the House goes to the upper-left corner and the end key is the lower right corner.

  As you know, on a Mac laptop keyboard you see only page Up/Page Down/Home/end keys because there is no room. But you don't need them. If you press an arrow key while pressing Fn (lower left corner of the keyboard), arrow up and arrow down to work as Page Up and Page Down, respectively, and in the same way Fn + arrow left and Fn + arrow right as keys to start and end.

• Develop Module and the wide range of monitors

  Is the develop module drive different display of the other modules (library, Print, etc.)?

  I ask because I see different, richer and more saturated colors to develop, and a Google search turns up any complaints about this problem, which dates back to 2007.

  I have a Dell UP2516D monitor calibrated with an i1DisplayPro software and i1Profiler XRite.  This monitor is capable of 99% AdobeRGB.

  Having read the other threads on this topic, I checked the following:

  • The monitor is correctly calibrated
  • I have disabled the option of processor use chart
  • The ICC profile is version 2, not version 4

  It's worrying because during the export, the JPEG format resulting looks desaturated images, I see in the library, not the end result of my editing module in the develop module.  Here is a pair of screenshots.  In both cases, the small window is the exported image (JPEG) displayed in the Windows Photo Viewer. The largest window is a partial screenshot of Lightroom.  The screenshot was made by opening the JPEG and then exported by moving the Windows Photo Viewer on the top of the window of Lightroom.

  The develop module is fundamentally different in how it sends image data to the screen?  Might it interact with the features of a Monitor wide gamut of cause this problem?

  Even if the answer is Yes, it does not explain why the effect is present even in the screenshots.  Take a screen capture, encode in PNG and then display in the Viewer Windows photo or other non-Lightroom software should eliminate special effects due to LR. The difference is always present in the screenshots, even when displayed on screens less capable, so there must be a problem of mismatch of actual color here.

  I don't know, is the windows photo viewer color managed?

  If you are using a large monitor range, you can display the correct colors with an application that is color management. Otherwise, you will still see a shift/colorshift.

  I have a new laptop Lenovo with a CPU i7-6600U, 16 GB of RAM and an Intel 520 HD GPU, pilot 20.19.15.4380 dated 02/02/16.  I use Lightroom CC 2015.5.1.

  The GPU passes Lenovo hardware diagnostics.

  In Lightroom CC, in the develop Module, move the adjustment sliders or simply move the cursor any where often causes the image I work mainly to turn bright white or white for the most brilliant with holes.  Cursor movement or disable the adjustment panel restores photo (see examples).  Only happens when LR says to use the GPU via Edition > Preferences > performance - does not occur when this box is not checked.

  If I move the slider, picture goes back to normal, although the problem may occur again with different parties going blank.

  I read LR problems with other cards, so if it is a software related issue, I can live with it--not off the GPU.  I just want to rule out the possibility that I have a faulty GPU.

  The GPU causing the problems you see and others as you read it, if you say that you have tested and everything is fine, then just leave it unchecked option and you will be fine. There may be an update to the map in the future that can cure the problem, but in the meantime...

  Could you please check and make sure that Lightroom is updated to the latest version, 2015.4 Lightroom

  Also please try:

  • Go to Lightroom > Preferences.
  • Also please go to preferences > Performance tab and uncheck the box "use graphics processor.
  • Restart Lightroom and see if it works.

• The 'Base' option in the develop module is more included in the list of options. Can't seem to find a way to get him back. Help?

  I can't find what happened to the basic option in the develop module. Individual edition toolbar (for example, crops) are there, but the basic title is missing. Any suggestions?

• Newbie - request for change of color developing module

  I am new to lightroom and photo editing. I just start the journey to finally get my head around it all and I am confused in step 1.

  I just install my catalog, but when I select some of my photos (jpg) in the develop module, the images seem corrupt to me, although they look fine in preview and outside of the lightroom develop module.

  In the example screenshot attached, there is a lot of blue in the world and In another day photos it is steady red. The exposure slider makes it worse or less

  I guess I'm missing something, probably Basic or simple! Please could someone guide me in the right direction!

  Go ahead and do it now, you probably have a broken monitor profile.

  As troubleshooting and as a temporary solution, you can set the monitor to sRGB profile.

  If the problem disappears, the monitor profile is the problem.

• No base Panel appears in the develop module.  How can I get that back?

  Help!  The Panel bases has disappeared from the right part of the Lightroom Develop module.  It has tone curve, histogram, etc., but not essential.  I have a Mac.  Where at - it go and how do I get it back?  I tried to update, restart, etc..  Any help would be appreciated, because it's really hard to edit without the basics.  Thank you

  In the Lightroom menu system go to window-> panels and make you that there is a check for signs as well as any other desired appears.
