A general question on installing Windows 7 and RAID configuration

I have an OEM Windows XP machine. His HD system consists of two physical disks connected during a RAID 0 configuration. The RAID has been initially configured in the BIOS (and maybe an extra chip), and then there are the drivers included in the installer of the OS.

My question is: if I install Windows 7 from scratch on this machine (i.e. not updated from XP) the installation process would allow me to configure the RAID? Has its own generic drivers for RAID configurations?

You will appreciate a response from a really knowledgeable person.
