• Retro-fit a preloader... little help here!

  Hi everyone, I know preloader questions abound in this forum, and I'm sorry to add to them! I'm just having a little difficult to retro - fit my preloader in this code.

  The code below shows the launch button click... function that evokes an external swf. I just it preloads that work, just for some reason a hard time to understand how to make this happen. I have a preloader on the front of my site works without problem, just having trouble finding ways to add to this code... Sorry in advance, but thank you.

• you want Sierra installs when you request the necessary to install a little help access/password?

  I got this twice today.

  First when you install the new version of Safari and now during the installation of Sierra.

  The GUI gets up and asks the system password install a little help.

  Don't feel alone, it is part of the upgrade package. The assistance program has helped the new feature to Siri to connect with the Apple servers.

  On the one hand, you cannot uninstall Safari.  It comes as part of the operating system.  So, I don't know what you've done or what you think you did, but this is not that.  Could you explain more by what you mean with "I get reimage opening in a new window?  You can post a screenshot of what happens?

  If you can not use a restore point, and the moving process simple origonal location cannot be done.

  I would like to copy your files to external data, make sure that you have the keys that can be required for programs, then start with a win clean installation, deleting all partitions during the process, and then using the entire disk for C space.

  You can different circumstances redirect your libraries only to another drive, other than C.

  We're just facing some misinformation: creative cloud, CC of Photoshop, Photoshop CC2014 are NO CLOUD. Yes, it is a name quite stupid, because.

  They install and run locally exactly like previous versions. They are different in three ways:

  1. simple integration of cloud services from Adobe to keep the files, which you can ignore.

  2 subscription only.

  3. you will need to regularly connect to the internet to verify your subscription status. Not sure it can be monthly. This could still be unsuitable for you of course.

• BlackBerry Smartphones newbie here needing a little help if poss

  I have a BB Curve 8520 and dowbkoaded Facebook on it, everything seems to work fine except "Favorite places" whenever I try to use the part of Facebook places the message I get says "Support GPS your device does not support location-based services. To use Facebook places, an integrated location service of wirh device is required. "I have a few friends with the same phone and none of them has this problem.   The Curve 8520 has no GPS capabilities.  When you say that you and your friend have the same phone, which is perhaps not entirely accurate; the curve is available in different levels: 8520, 8530, 3G and there may be others I'm missing.

  It's like another month now when the new OS 7 phones are released, if someone were to say, "I have a BlackBerry Torch", you could answer with, ' which one of the four torches do you own?

He had some serious spyware that I couldn't get cleaned up and I "discovered" restoration of the system using the F10 key. I did it. He acted as a whole new computer I have registry and all. I had assumed that he had whipped the own HD. However when I tried to update XP it said I didn't have the room. And of course a 'C' drive it's full of things. So now I'm a bit lost and I was wondering if there is a guide step by step somewhere (yes I should have asked prior to taking title).

  1. I see as well a C drive and a system recovery disk. Who now works or how can I say.

  2. I'd like to if I don't lose any of his stuff. Actually I'm passing some of them to my external drive for 'safe keeping' if all goes well

  3. I have not been able to get on the net wireless, but have been wired. That is probably an update is necessary? It shows my network and that I am connected, but it won't actually show anything "page not found".

  4. I download some spyware now so I can check my system restore it cleared out.

  Here is a link to the system recovery with much information.

  Your operating system runs from your C: partition. D: is the recovery partition.

  As far your Wi - Fi connection... going to try Google chrome or another browser to see if you can connect. There is a little bug in IE (I guess that's what you use) which may prevent it from connect to web pages.

  You have probably a Trojan or malware on the system. Try to go to www.ESET.com . Look on the right side under quick links and use their scanner online. It will find all things 'wrong' that is on your system and delete, if you may of course. As far as I know, they are the best in the business. Everyone has a favorite and this one is mine. I have install on the PC of the client frequently and for three years have never had a client complain about viruses, Trojans, adware or malware.

  Do not update your pc had SP2 before having to operate satisfactorily and have done a Windows system restore point.

  To step #4 it is said to create a new group. However, I don't see why a new group is needed. Any thoughts?

  More important to step #8 I'm confused. It is said to create an ellipse with the Ellipse tool, but it does not seem logical.

  To step #7 the pen is not the Golden inside tip. It shows then the pen with a touch of gold and all it says is to create an ellipse with the Ellipse tool and fill with the listed in step #8 Layer Styles. However, I do not see how to create an ellipse will create the shape of the tip of gold, nor him can I image if it is intended to surround the end of the "extended pen" that he would change the color of just the end of the pen.

  Any ideas?

  I think that I should probably just use the tool pen mode shape to create a new form that can be the Golden tip. I am not enough advanced to know any other way I am alomost sure there is probably a lot of other ways.

  When I started I didn't know that it is a step to UTU and now I started I just can't bring myself to give up. I'm pretty good retentive in this way. Once I start something I have to finish.

  Kara OK, I'm home again.

  The new group thing is just to help you stay organized, exactly like your files folders in Windows or (I assume) Mac operating systems.  You can either start by clicking the new icon group in the menu layers, placing the following layers in this group, or you can work the asme that I do, and that's to create layers on the fly, and when I want to organize them, select the layer and click on the new icon group while holding down the SHIFT key.

  You can give to your groups names and nest groups within groups.

  Groups have little drop to the bottom of the triangles in the layers panel to collapse or expand the group.  With a large group, you can move the layers in this group by moving to the top or to the bottom of the stack of layers with Ctrl [(moins fort) or Ctrl] (until) it would be Cmd [Cmd] on a Mac.

  Either way, it is quite a nice tutorial, although there are always several ways to get similar results in Photoshop.  The tutorial suggests producing the cylindrical 3D look of the pen with layer styles. but I just fill it with the base color and the use of the Dodge tool to produce the highest point.

• Little help General and question about layout theory

  Hello... any help appreciated:

  I am a photographer who has always been a person DIY.  I built a Web site for my work on my own using Dreamweaver and some tutorials online.  He comes back, it works (although a little slow), but the code would, I imagine, most of you take your computers and whiten your knuckles.  In short: it works on the tape, Staples and ideas of jerry-rigged.

  I've watched more tutorials and am rebuiding the site, trying to clean up the code and the site.

  I have a number of questions and issues that I have not been able to solve on my own and so I turn to this site.  I'll post a few initial questions here and even more in the following days.

  I sincerely appreciate the time and help you would be willing to offer.

  1. when I try to preview in Firefox, my computer switches to Firefox, but the site is not displayed.  All that appears is what was the last page I looked at Firefox.  This does not happen for Safari, Opera, etc..

  2 I watched videos on the site, built the site largely with a layout of the Tables and then a page turns with the Table in a template for the pages that follow.  I guess it's a frequently asked question: most people set out sites this way to make... or with the ApDiv?  I feel I'm learning a foreign language by the book... now I wondering how people REALLY speak.  My site is www.tomgriggs.net (look at the code at your own risk).  I provided that in the hope that, if you take a look, you might see a way to layout would work for me better than the other.

  3. What is recommend for my table, wide... I'm focusing on the photogarphers and others who usually have large screens and I want to maximize the space I have for my pictures, but I also want to most people when they visit my site to get the site on their screen.  The solution would only be a percentage based tabular presentation?

  I'll save the other for another day or post questions.  I appreciate any response you have!

  1. There is a known issue with Firefox 3.6.x and preview based on the browser.  It is noted in the Mozilla bug database and has been approved for publication in the next version.  I got the bug number in an old post, but I don't know off the top of my head.

  2 tables are a deprecated feature in Dreamweaver and have been removed from CS4.  So I recommend against learning in this way.  Œuvres of absolute positioning for some cases, but if you want a layout pass little matter that someone has the resolution you will end up with an elastic layout using percentages.  You can use div tags PA in it to achieve some effects.  But most of the time it should be used in some sort of container because otherwise your site will have different appearances according to the resolution.

  That your site is concerned, many will run your site through a validator: http://validator.w3.org/ - HTML, http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/ - CSS.  At the moment your site validates 100% with CSS and has only a single error in HTML format (other errors are related).  Your "and must end with a ' / > '."  Apart from that, everything is in order.  Personally, I like the simplicity of your Web site, although I think you could add a little more to the grey background by integrating one of your images in the background.

  3. return to the table.  Closer look at your code and I see that you have a table around your content with a width of 1134.  Personally I trash and follow these steps:

  If you get away from the table and move to div and layers, so you can make your more elastic page mentioned in the #2 response.  This code inside the body tag would give you a width of 90% of the visible area and auto margin: 0 would set the margin at the top and bottom of the page to 0 while the auto Center the page horizontally in the window of the browser.  As stated previously, layout tables are obsolete and will be not available in the latest versions of DW from CS4.  So I highly recommend moving ahead of them if you can.  The following resource is a good starting point for CSS ( http://www.w3schools.com/css/ ).  Think about the design of web sites in this way, just said HTML what should appear, CSS says what it should look like when it appears. Based on your current layout, it wouldn't be hard to reproduce this with fewer lines of code using basic CSS layout compared to the current table layout.  If you need an example, I could try to stick something together.  It may take a few days if.

  Since Firefox is not a product that you have to pay, there is no interactive support line, you can call or the person to have a live chat with. The other reason I think is that they would not find enough people quality of hire to answer questions professionally & manage hundreds of thousands of questions of how Microsoft or can of Apple.
