  I have a laptop Toshiba Satellite M30 - 853 during nearly four years. A few days already, I'm having a problem that they come from the white lines vertical or black spots or screen is smear when I am trying to move a window from time to time. My wireless adapter is in use.

  Hello:

  I bought my Milestone in India around August 2010.

  I wanted to know when the 2.2 update will come out to my device - I checked the Motorola Android Software new Upgrade page but could not find a milestone for the India in the list (guess it's APAC then).

  Here are the details of my camera:

  Firmware version: 2.1 update1

  Configuration of the firmware version: GAS_EMEA_USASHLS00RTINT_P016

  Baseband version: 3GSMEPU91A_U_91.07.56I

  How can I know which region my device belongs to, and how these details decide when the 2.2 going to build?

• Milestone 2 recovery mode

  Hello.

  Milestone 2 my girlfriend is very strange and guard restart constantly because of random crashes.

  I want to try to do a factory reset, but I can not far enough in the settings to the factory reset option so that the only way is through the recovery.

  I turned the phone off, press X on the keyboard and press power. I get the exclamation fine screen, but from there I'm stumped. On some forum that it has been mentioned that you must press the magnifying glass button to enter the recovery menu, but which does absolutely nothing. The volume up + camera does nothing no more. I can't seem to turn off the phone either when, having reached the exclamation point and have to pull the battery.

  Hi I just got my Milestone 2 today (9 December). Because I had to use my old phone for charging the battery I assembled the phone without the SIM card. I want to insert the SIM card now I can't remove the back. I try to push the lens of the camera and move it for abour one third of a millimeter, but no more. I broke my thumb nail trying to push even more away, without result. I can move it back again. Any suggestions?.

  Maybe your back is very tight, but I can remove it easily mine in holding the phone face down, and using the apartment of my thumbs in the back and pushing the lens on the camera. It moves about 2mm and can then be raised.

  I thought that it could be used 2 G with At & t in the United States. (I know that it cannot be used with At & t 3 G in the United States)

  I live near four borders, and I travel a lot. On my old G1, there was a checkbox in menu wireless and networks to enable data roaming, but on the Milestone 2 it is not there. How can I turn data roaming on my phone?

  Check in "Menu" + "Data manager" + "execution of the data.

  "Data Roaming" checkbox should be there.

  WARNING: I don't actually have a Milestone 2, but the settings should be similar. I would like to know if it works.

• Milestone: Problems with USB

  Love my new milestone, seems to work in all directions unless you are using the usb cable.

  It charges very well using the provided power plug-and - usb cable, but plug the cable in my powered usb ports on my PC cause very few things happen.

  It does not load and windows records simply as an "unknown device" has been plugged in (but has no idea what it is, only that it is usb). Try to install the drivers USB Google Android (for XP) gives no joy.

  I tried several other computers and none of them are able to charge the phone.

  Do I need to install the software on the cd (that I didn't, thinking that it is probably, I wouldn't need software) for all this work?

  I noticed there are a few "PC Charging Drivers" in the support section, but they don't seem to indicate compatibility Android/Milestone, so I steered clear.

  Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  You have generally not all drivers. What all depends on the options you select in the * phone * when you plug it in.

  If you select the option 'manage SD card' (or a statement to this effect) in the notifications window (when you have it plugged into USB port), and then you can browse the SD card in your PC.

  The other options, I think, will allow loading can take place.

  Try to turn off your phone and holding the X button and the button of the camera on the keyboard when turning on/off.

  A road sign (triangle with "!") should appear, then press volume up button and camera button at the same time.

  A menu should appear, choose factory reset and then wipe cache partition.

  Then, restart the phone.

  It worked perfectly for me - but I have a European stage - so there is no guarantee I can give to you.
