A sim card don't reach my phone signal

Wife and I both have a 380 Acer phones on contract with Three.Since about 7 days my wife's phone cannot receive a signal in our House but mine did. We arranged with acer for its phone back for repairs.

Today because she uses her phone more than I do, I inserted sim card in my phone, to my surprise no signal is received with his sim card in my phone. If a sim card can affect the signal received by the voiceless?

Sometimes, I would contact 3 to get a new SIM card.

    IPhone 6 64 gb

    iOS 9.2.1

The phone says no service but the SIM card works, everything in the phone works except the flash still lights up and flickers sometimes before becoming stable but who don't mind not 'that' much, ive tried factory reset and everything, ive also open the unit and looked for signs of damage, the phone knows there is a SIM card in the phone , but he never says the name of the carrier, also after the restart he said looking and does not stop until I have remove and reinsert the SIM card.

You can restore the factory state after an iTunes backup

If this does not resolve the problem then you may want to align on Apple or an approved repair shop

  • SIM card disabled... Need to unlock Code - or do I need a new SIM card?

Hi - I was a fool to check my phone late into the night Friday and checked settings-> location & security and went down all the way to lock SIM card. My phone is running the last updated Android for this model of Motorola MB300 BackFlip MotoBlur, I guess it's Android 2.1?

I went to the where it says set up SIM card lock.

I went to the where it says card SIM Lock (require PIN using the phone) and he asked for a PIN and I entered my own PIN and then I thought asked that my re - enter to confirm the new PIN code and then it was locked. I couldn't turn the lock, and I got on the screen when he timed out where he said I had the possibility of a PUK code. I don't know what it was, but I entered my code I thought that I did, and then he asked for me to create a new code, which I did, and then he asked me to re - enter the code to confirm. I did, and every time it says INVALID CODE ENTRY or something. So I tried other things. I tried to guess what the PUK code. I sent my parents at this stage because he said I could get the PUK code in caller Service customer. But I do not have to restart my phone and dial a number. I tried to keep guessing. Finally, he said that SIM card has been DISABLED. And now I can only make emergency calls.

I found somewhere on the Internet that will give the unlock codes for a SIM card if you have the IMEI number of the phone that I have, and the model. I entered the model and IMEI number to see if they had paid him to the record, which they said to do it before the "order"... which I was suspicious. They found my unlock the number, they said, for what I entered. Simply, they want my name, address, etc. and will allow me to pay using credit or debit via Paypal. It costs $ 7.99 for the code.

I'm not really happy to spend $8 that I can get for free if I go to a local store of AT & T with the technicians and technical help, that will do it for Hello, FREE?, because I pay 5 $par month on phone, insurance which now on this P.O.S. phone, had to be said for her many times... but I secretly want to take in the closest CENTRE of DEVICE OF SUPPORT , I have a recommendation to go form (but that one is a 2.5 hours a one-way ticket on public transport, unfortunately, compared to only an hour or two in a store of tech to give me a new SIM card) and see if I can get this BackFlip swapped for a SideFlip while I'm.

    • What is the chances of that? Just whine enough about the BackFlip even get a SideFlip? The SideFlip is done? To compensate for the BackFlip? (^_*)?
    • Anyone know how to unlock the SIM card once it has been disabled? Or people with reduced mobility means NEVER usable for the rest of its useful life? That's all I need to know now. Mainly.
    • And on the other hand, in passing, if someone got lucky by swapping this out for a SideFlip mofone and what their thoughts were the Motorola SideFlip vs the BackFlip with respect to memory and the Android operating system and version MotoBlue... etc. The usual. Comparisons?

The tech store I use mainly is closed on Sundays (to get a new SIM card), so I can't go today after all. To remedy this, I hope to get a response on this forum. Please post anything you know that might help me for FREE get this MOFONE FIXED and SIM re-activated or reactivated. And it's too late in the day to get to the CENTER of SUPPORT of DEVICE. So boo hoo. I'm screwed. I would like to have a car and not a nice bike respectful of the environment.

PS - I've READ online THAT THE PUK FOR THIS PHONE IS ALWAYS 1111, but I think they were referring to the device of MiFi who came, not the BackFlip MB300... so I don't know if the PUK Code is universally 1111 or what, but it does NOT work. What could be? Is - this own to my phone and the IMEI number? Thank you!!!

If the SIM card is deactivated so your best bet is to get a new one. AT & T gives them for free, but there is not many other v e can do. Blocking of SIM cards is a security feature to protect your account as a sim card is linked to a phone number.

Other unlocks forsale are online for carrier unlocks - unlocking a phone to use with another carrier. The unlock code requiring an IMEI unlock for another carrier - it won't help with SIM disabled.

If you could easily unblock a SIM card, anyone could steal your phone and break the SIM lock. As far as I know, once the SIM card is disabled, you must a new.

But the good news is that AT & T gives free new.

  • SIM card problems

Okay so a few hours ago, I picked up my phone and the sim card had just "disassembled" itself, I guess you could say. On the lock screen, it said I had no mobile network connected, I couldn't call someone or text message to anyone. Then at 10 minutes ago he did once again, my way to solve this was to just restart my phone. It was as if the sim card was not in my phone, even if no one went near the sim card because this phone has been replaced in early January. I'm running the new Jelly Bean android, version of the 98.72.16 system. Is this a normal problem or no matter who else encountered this problem and understand what was causing it? Maybe this would be something that I do?

It seems that the Sim Card is wrong. The first thing I would say is to put the card back in the phone. Power the phone down, take out the SIM card and then put back. Turn on the phone and see if it works well. If you see the problem again just call Verizon CS to 611 and tell them what is happening and they will send you another for free.

You can go to a corporate Verizon store and get it replaced as well. They must see the problem for themselves in order to help you. If you expain the problem they might just replace anyway.

I guess that it just has his moments, but I'm goona be sure to never to come out again because it works now lucky and the number of attempts.

  • Changing Z10 blackBerry SIM cards

Maybe it's a question but naïve. My Z10 is first BB with a SIM card. I am a customer of Bell Mobility.  If I go on holiday in another country could I buy a SIM card from a local mobile phone service provider it and install it in the Z10?

You shouldn't buy a local sim card, your z10 will work on their networks. I called bell and ask them to give you the package overseas before your departure. I do each year when I take my family in Cuba, I get the carribean with bell for the data package and phone... But technically Yes, you can buy a sim card in this country that their carrier supports the z10.

I just bought an Iphone 6s and not yet am possession of en from the Sim Card. Ook, do you know if I can use the phone including applications via Wifi and put the chip later? Thank you. Renault JL

No, because if you bought a new iPhone, then you need a SIM card to activate it before you can use the wifi applications.

This is a phone after all, you don't need a sim card any to be able to activate it.

  • I want to put my iPhone 3GS as a new iPhone, but I don't have a SIM card, what should I do?

I want to put my iPhone 3GS as a new iPhone, but I don't have a SIM card, what should I do?

You must use a SIM card. If you plan to use the device as a phone, then get a SIM card by the carrier that you plan to use. Necessary to activate an iPhone SIM card.

  • will facetime be able in my phone if I use the sim card to an operator that supports factime

will be time face enabled in my phone if I use the sim card from an operator who takes care of facetime

Probably not. Most of the devices sold it disabled permanently, although some carriers may allow it. No one could be sure here. And it is only when you are in this local geographical situation. Ask the carrier.

  • I have my 5 factory reset iPhone, now I can't set up my iPhone because it must be enabled, and I don't have a sim card. Can someone help me please?

I have my 5 factory reset iPhone, now I can't set up my iPhone because it must be enabled, and I don't have a sim card to make. Is there a way I can install and use my iPhone without needing to be activated? Can someone help me please?

To skip the activation of sim card, you can use iTunes if you have a CDMA iPhone. However, if you have a GSM model you will need to insert a sim card to activate your iPhone (it can even be used/inactive). Here is an article that will help you determine if your iPhone is GSM or CDMA: http://osxdaily.com/2012/11/15/determine-iphone-gsm-or-cdma/

  • My sim card has slipped the tray and into the phone and is locked how to remove

Grandson bought a new iPhone and thought that he had to change sim cards.  He removed the sim card and tried to reinsert everything by putting the tray with the card in the phone, SIM slipped off the set and became stuck in the phone.  Any ideas how to remove?

Take a pair of tweezers and VERY carefully and gently grasp the card and remove it. No doubt, try to avoid the contact pins that are inside the phone and touch the bottom of the SIM card when the card is inserted.
