  Aaaah, as a matter of fact Yes! I have solved my problem. I hope this works for you also. I discovered that when I started the Task Manager and look under 'Process' there was a dllhost process that gradually consumed more in addition to my memory. The first was the magenta, and it might discolor the entire page. The second was yellow, and it could fade just the left and right margins. It was two cartridges to Cartridge World, and they have done very well for some time after the installation or always had plenty of ink left when this problem occurred. The manager at Cartridge World has estimated that perhaps the part of the waste of the cartridge has been complete over time and flees to the ink. He said that for most black and white print still causes the drum on the cartridges of color to turn and empty the little ink in waste room.   Have you of the 'show Talking Points' enabled in the view menu? Then you can see small white boxes superimposed on the image in the Viewer.
