WRT350N: Unable to connect or ping client wireless LAN and plug question

I own a WRT350N (V2.00.17), this is a great piece of hardware. But I can't seem to connect to a client connected via wifi. Under the terms of "ping":

* ping-client wifi wired-customer - not OK

* ping-client wifi to other wifi-customer - not OK

* client ping cable of wif-client - OK

* client ping cable to another wired-customer - not OK

Another example:

I have a server (192.168.1.100) on wifi serving the shared Windows resources, this server is on wifi. All clients on the local network in wifi, however also tries to connect to the server with \\192.168.1.100 returns a timeout message. I've created a port rule to forward that transmits all traffic on 137-139 to 192.168.1.100. If my public IP address is 123.123.123.123 I can then connect to my Windows shares on the server via \\123.123.123.123

Another problem is if a wifi customer is inactive in during some time (perhaps as little as 5 minutes) the wifi client must reconnect to the router, could this be "fixed" on the router side?

It seems that the "AP Isolation" option had a hiccup. Enabled, saved, disabled, saved. Now it's working.

    Hi all

I had a very big problem with my card.

I did everything. I have checked ipconfig nothing, check the mode safe mode with local network nothing.
    Someone said too
"(1) once the Ethernet is connected, power of the DSL Modem. Cycle." ("Some Modem picks up the MAC ADDRESS of the network card on where it was previously connected and restarting it redétecte this new")

    How to disable the modem?
And another question: can someone tell me what works of LAN drivers in Sat L300D-10U on XP?
    I put t even know that :(

    Help me

    Hello

The Satellite L300D-10U belongs to the series of PSLC0E and it supports the Realtek LAN card.
LAN driver can be found on the page of Realtek.

You ask how to disable the modem? I think you mean how to reset modem DSL
Well, usually your modem should support an ON / OFF button simply turn it off and then turn it back on.

If you are unable to access the internet then you should first check if your modem is properly configured and that the right data ISP (internet service provider) was used.

Sorry, but that's all I can say right now I think you should just check your modem settings, make sure that the NIC is properly recognized and connect the model of the laptop using a LAN cable.

HP6700 printer: unable to connect to the router wireless D - Link DI-514 when the router Broadcast SSID is set to no. My MAC laptop and HP laptop both work with the set SSID on no. If I change the router Wireless SSID Broadcast is YES, then the printer HP6700 can connect to the wireless router. I set up the printer it saying that the SSID and password have been, the same as both of my laptops, but it connects ever, unless I have change the router to broadcast the SSID. Help!

Have you tried to update the firmware on the DI-514?

You can also try to set a static IP address on the printer, and then assign the printer to the list of DHCP static in the interface of the router.
To give a static IP address to your printer:
-Print a the front of the printer Network Setup Page. Note the IP address of the printer.
-Enter the IP address in a browser to reveal the internal settings of the printer.
-Choose the network tab, then wireless along the left side, then on the IPv4 tab.
-On this screen, you want to set a manual IP address. You must assign an IP address outside the range that the router sets automatically (called the DHCP range). If you do not know the range, change the last set of numbers (those after the last '.') 250
-Apply the subnet 255.255.255.0 (unless you know it's different, if so, use it)
-Enter the IP of your router (on the Page of the Network Config) for the gateway.
-Enter for the first DNS 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 for second DNS. It's Google DNS. You can choose a different external DNS if you wish.
    -Click 'apply '.
Now, stop the router and printer, start the router, wait, and then start printing.

After that you remove and re - add the printer to your Mac.

  • Presario v3000 wireless lan and its drivers for windows xp

I need drivers for compaq presario v3000 wireless lan and sound for windowxp sp2. One mentioned on the hp support site will not work.

    Hi, Tarun:

Installation of the audio driver for your laptop is delicate.

Before you install the current sound driver, you MUST first install the MS. UAA driver

Thus, you must uninstall any audio driver that you have already installed, reboot, and then install this driver.

It is possible that you have scrambled the installation by trying several audio drivers and you can be better to reinstall XP and making sure that you install the Chipset driver first, then the video driver, then the MSUAA driver, then the audio driver and rebooting after each instance of the above facilities

  • Unable to connect to the printer wireless HP D110

Bought a new printer D110 last week.  Turned on, it has detected my wireless router Actiontec (Verizon FIOS) with signal max, and I logged it, using my WPA key.  It appears that he successfully connected and returned a hard copy report indicating that he has passed all the tests, at the address IP 192.168.1.4, which is within my reach.

However, when I told the installer to use wireless rather than in USB mode and entered the IP address assigned to the printer, she returned with a message that it cannot connect to the printer.

I disabled all firewall and antivirus software and repeat this step again and again, same result.  It's on a laptop Toshiba Satellite brand new under Windows 7 Home Premium.  The laptop has had zero problems wireless in and of itself.

I repeated the installation on a 8 years old Sony Vaio laptop running Windows XP Home Edition with all the latest service packs and updates.  Same result, failure.

I checked the software admin to the router, checked that it has detected the printer and assigned to this address.  However, neither the router nor either laptop can ping the printer successfully.  Laptops can ping each other, and the router pings successfully.

I went to USB mode and connected the printer to the new laptop.  Works very well.

I'm guessing there's a permissions/firewall problem going on here.  I don't use MAC filtering.  I opened the port 427 incoming UDP activity.  No change.  Any help appreciated.  Thank you.

You can try to run WIndows Update again and again to make sure that your system is the last and largest.

Also, download the latest version of the software for your printer from the "Support & Driver" link at the top of this page.

  • Unable to connect to L7580 on wireless network

Hello and thank you in advance for the help.  I'm on a Dell Precision 490 running XP Pro, version 2002, SP3 and recently connected to the network here at the office using a Netgear Wireless - N 300 PCI adapter.  I have Internet access so I know that the computer is in talks with the router, that is a Time Capsule from Apple.  We have a L7580 all-in-one already connected to the router via USB and printing from other computers, and I would like to print this Dell also.  The other computers are Macbooks which are plugged in and out of the network when users are in the office.  When I went to download and install the latest driver for the printer, I get as far as the configuration of the network window and it comes back to "no network printer not found.»  Then I click Next for assistance and I get a network connection window asking me to choose what type of connection I want to have the printer, but the printer is already connected!  I'm confused.  I tried to ping the router using the IP address provided by the configuration page of HP network that I printed from the printer, but it happens to expire several times and then says 100% loss, which doesn't look good.  I think mixing a PC with a Mac wireless system is probably not going to work, but I want to make sure before I have to run a long USB cable to the printer.  If I have not provided enough information, I will be happy to fill in the blanks.  Once again, much obliged for assistance.  See you soon.  . .

Thanks PrintDoc, turns out I have to not need to go there.  I tried a model list titled "HP OfficeJet LX' where I guess the X was for any series beginning with L and the Wizard completed, and I was able to print this page.  Back in the saddle.  Thanks again for all the help!

  • Satellite A300 - unable to connect to a local wireless network

    Hello

I have a question: bought a laptop two days ago, the wireless LAN doesn't work. It can detect the network, accepts the network key, he just used to connect.

    Help, please.

    Hello!

Have you checked the TCP/IP of the WLAN card settings?
I put t know the network configuration of the router, but if you are using DHCP you must use this mode or you set a static IP address.
    Check it!

Also, check if your wireless network card is recognized correctly in Device Manager and try to reset your router. This means that you must remove the router AC adapter and wait 5 minutes. Then plug the AC/DC adapter again.
Sometimes a firmware update might be useful too.

  • Unable to connect to ground or wireless network

I can't connect to my land or wireless network.  I tried to connect through my laptop to work and land / wireless worked as expected (e.g. problem is not with the router).  Previously, I was able to connect to the network via my computer at home.  Some information:

    1. I get the following message when I consult my network connections:

    "Connection status: unknown.

The dependency service or group was able to start. »

2 Windows cannot find any wireless networks in range.

    3. I tried to use Windows Network Diagnostics and the message I got was "The Windows Wireless Service is not running on this computer."  I tried to start the service, but couldn't.

I would appreciate any you can give troubleshooting tips!  Thank you.

    Hi Kelly1986,

    1. what happens when you try to connect by using wired connection?
    2. do you have security software installed on the computer?
    3. did you of recent changes on the computer?
    4. What is the error message when the service started?

First of all, I would say that check you what happens when you connect using the wired connection.

Check also in mode safe mode with Networking if you are able to connect to internet using wired connection.

Steps to start in safe mode with networking
1 restart your computer if it is running.
    2. press the F8 key after your initially on powers computer.
    3. Once you see the menu Advanced Startup Options , you can stop tapping.
    4. use the up/down arrow keys to highlight your selection.
    5. Select Safe Mode with network and pressenter.
    6. you should see loading drivers and wait please.
    7. you should then be at the Welcome screen.
    8. connect to your computer using an account with administrator privileges.

Start your computer in safe mode
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/start-your-computer-in-safe-mode

Restart the computer to return to normal mode

Disable the security software on the computer and try to start the service and check.

Important: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you do not disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network during the time that your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

If you still cannot start the try running SFC scan service that would have a search system files corrupted on the computer and replace them.

    Hello

I have a Dell Latitude E6440 Win 7 Enterprise 64 running on a domain. It will connect to an unsecured network, and he can see the secure network in the list when I click the icon for the wireless connection on the system tray. When I go on manage wireless networks, the secure network is not displayed (and so I can not delete the network to try to add new). Normally, we would add the network protected here. I click Add, type the name in the correct syntax, add the necessary information (2/WPA-Enterprise TKIP or EAS) and click Next, it returns immediately with "an unexpected error has occurred." The same thing happens when I hit the connection in the list of available networks that appears when I open system tray icon: he said that it was impossible to connect, when I hit the Troubleshoot, it is said that he could not identify the problem. The event log shows error below. I could not find any resolution here or elsewhere who respond to the fact that I can connect to networks unsecured wireless, but unsecured wireless networks.
