A thorny issue!

I got a problem trying to allow a user to enter a value in a page that will be used in a where clause clause in a query of database. The database query is called via a page of the application that is called from an RSS reader. The idea is the user will enter details, he wants to see in the RSS and press a button that will go to another page of the app, and generate the URL TO which the RSS reader you use. The user can then copy this URL and paste it into their RSS reader. When the feedreader to access the application page URL pointing to it calls a procedure of database which generates the XML code - according to the settings originally specified by the user and which is now parts of the URL.

It works fine until I have try to get a value such as "met_e4 as '+ %'" in the database (the choice of users is stored in the database) and subsequently in the URL.

I know there are problems with exhaust and the URL encoding, but even when I went to their addresses there seemed no interaction with the ID of session inserted in the URL that is intended to invoke the procedure to get the XML in the database. The URL I generate does not include a session id - it can't because it will be generated once and used over and over again (long) - possibly by different users, so I need to generate a URL free session_id and depend on the interaction between the APEX and the application "calling" the URL (the reader of RSS or even Firefox) to generate the session id and insert this in the URL. It is somehow screw up the parameters passed to the function of database, resulting in the underlying query failed.

In the example above, the parameter that contains the value 'met_e4 as '+ %' ' is URL encoded as "met_e4% 20like % 20% 27% 2B % 25% 27", however it ends as "met_e4% 20like % 20% 27% 20% 27" after it was called - not the encoded URL '+' and and '%' has been lost - it fails with an error of not properly completed quoted string - everything the database receives the value of the parameter is "met_e4 like '"!

Replacing the wrong parameter in the URL - which now contains a session id - with the original URL encoded value - "met_e4% 20like % 20% 27% 25% 27% 2B", and re-request page, however now works perfectly!

Anyone following the problem that I am trying to explain here? And case in this have a suggestion as the best approach to resolve or work around?

I have two suggestions:

(1) assuming that the link that you generate is on a public page in the application (or the application as a whole requires no authentication), try to put 0 in the position of session ID.

(2) put in place a simple demo on apex.oracle.com and I'll take a look.

The main caps are removable. But I'm not quite sure if caps cleaning would solve the thorny issue of key m.

Cluster AP541N of problems with the sticky homelessness and slow connections

I have a client with about 20 users with wireless and a cluster of 4 AP541N on their activities. They have an app that they get on a cloud that connects to a remote desktop in the same sense that Citrix. We have a problem of connectivity to the wireless network and also some speed issues. I went when they have problems and tracked down the AP where is the MAC machine and often it is not the closest access point to the user. Many times, it is an access point with 2 other AP in the same cluster between him and the client computer.

Concern for speed appears on different machines, not necessarily the same as those with sticky homelessness issue. Some of them have a wireless n card, but are only connect to g. I don't know if it's related to that, but I also have machines 100% or close to it, the signal strength and they dive into the region of 15Mbps. The LAN is fine, other wireless devices are fine, but these intermittent problems happen to some users. We have updated the firmware for the wireless card, and generally, this does not resolve the issue.

The cluster uses automatic management of channel and in order to cut down on the thorny issue of roaming my network engineer value emission high instead of full power to limit overlap.

Any suggestions about where to go next with troubleshooting? The AP541N does not support roaming. Yes, I know that in the Administrator's Guide, he mentions one seamless experience. It is actually mentioned in the WDS section and not Clustering. However is not roaming as you would find with a wireless network with a wireless LAN controller.

Within the Cisco Small Business equipment and any other provider, for networks that do not have a controller wireless LAN to a wireless client to move from one access point to another that the first signal would actually have to drop to get the next strongest signal to authenticate and connect.

With the AP541N, there is an option to activate prior authentication if you use Radius Authentication. This assistance in faster authentication but is still not roaming and would require a signal switch to the next strongest signal.

Have you done a scan wireless in your area? I use a tool called Analytics of a Wi - Fi connection, the best thing is it of free. This can help determine which static channel is best for your environment. One of the Con to use an automatic channel is that when the AP is changing channels, it will pass some clients are currently connected and won't allow all connections until a new string is found and the beginning of the device transmitting again.

I can't be the first to ask about this: customers want items added to their site, but don't want to opt for accommodation Business Catalyst. Many of the blog solutions help the SEO of the site they are on because they are not actually hosted on the site itself, just a stream from another separate site.

Problem with the page turns with the OSM

Just downloaded the version 23 of the content viewer. I consult my folio/articles on an ipad 1 and I still thorny issues when it comes to the page turns:
1 if there is no MSO, page turns very well and is aligned with the previous or next as expected.
2. to the ESM pages, if I do not commit to the OSM, it snaps to the next page or previous fine.
3. If I click on the ASM then try to turn the page, he jitters and shakes and remain on the page or is blocked to halfway. When I try even once, it turns out as expected.
I heard that by disabling the function of zoom in on PDF folios will solve the problem. If I don't create my own custom Viewer (I do not have a version company, just one question release them a) how can I make pages with active MSOs run properly?

Wow, that last sentence looks like it has been seized by a prepubescent girl. I am a man of 41 with 2 children just to be clear!

You're right, it's the same question, as seen in the other thread. You can fix this by disabling PDF zoom when you build your application. When you go through the process to create your simple editing application, you should see "Show the Advanced Options" on the details page of the App in DPS App Builder. You can uncheck enable PDF zoom it.

Hello everyone! I certainly hope that someone can help me with this thorny issue. I followed the suggestions I found here and there, and tried a lot of different things on my own, it, nothing is.
The situation is the following. I have several different combo boxes that allow the selection of a variety of values. Once a value, say "12" is selected in a drop-down list boxes, I want to prevent users from selecting it in another box. Note that I don't want to delete the value of the index of all of the other boxes, simply because users change their minds and if they decide they want to '12' in box 3 instead of 1, I don't want to face a cycle of continuous update of index.
What I'm trying to do, using my example, when a user selects a value in the box 2 - n, the validation code checks to see if the just selected value is already in one of the other boxes. If this is the case, an alert is generated to the user and the drop-down list box that they just changed back to its former value. The code is everything works EXCEPT that the drop-down list box is not refreshing. In my example, if I select '12' in box 1, select "27" in box 2, enter some data elsewhere, then select "12" in box 2, I get a pop up window as I want. The 2nd box always displays '12', however, is wrong. When I click in the box, however, '12' disappears and the old correct value (in my example '27') is displayed. From this, I see that validation is actually arrested when double is detected. The display, however, will not be reset.
I tried a variety of things - affecting a different value to the property selectedIndex and then again, the definition of the field (event.target.text = strOldValue), and many other settings, all this without result. I have nothing seems to reset the value that the user sees until it clicks on the ground.
Now for the code. This function is called by the validate event associated with each combo box (the variable passed to the function, intNumVariableBoxes, is a global variable that contains the total number of list boxes in the form, which allows me to easily reuse this code on forms with different numbers of combo boxes):

You probably have "Commit selected value immediately" selected. While it is understandable that you would want that, he has this side effect.

It works usually - BUT, once in a while, good page, but the elements have the value NULL.
only when I press F5 to refresh the page, the variables pass correctly for items and the appropriate query is made...
After a few tests, it seems to happen when I click on fairly quickly. quickly return to page 39, a new bar and click on I'm back on page 40.
If I do this slowly, maybe wait a few seconds, it works in general.

the elements are defined as 'hidden' (unprotected). There is no calculation or the default settings for elements, and they are not reset to null at any time.

Validations are those interpreted by the SPECTACLE of the APEX and ACCEPT the process.
The idea here is to force a 39 page ACCEPT and then see HER return the table on page 40.
This is achieved by replacing the graphic link to a redirect by a form submission followed of a branch on page 40.
Thus, Javascript must be on page 39 and the part on page 39 must specify page 40 as target. You will need to do P40_DATE and P40_JAHR hidden items from page to page 39 so JS can set values for these.

I recently bought the new iPhone 7 more. Not only am I having problems with the LTE service, bounce back between 3 G and no service I am now having problems with call connectivity. When you try to make an outgoing call, I get an automatic response from my carrier (Verizon) "it's Verizon, we are unable to complete your call at this time, please turn off your phone and back and try again."

It is a known issue with the iPhone 7 and Verizon. Supposed to be Apple and Verizon are seeking him. It has been a problem since the phone was released. Do a Google search or search here on the forums for a temporary solution but not a cure. But basically to stop the LTE oice and data into data only in the settings.

iPhone 6 more hang freeze issues

My iPhone 6 more guard suspended (gel) for the past 6 months, I have to reset the whole phone sometimes up to 2 times just to get it to work again. Been a loyal (including my entire family) custome since gen 1 iPhone, iPad, mac book. Am really disappointed with the quality now. Did not bring to the service center since the first day of the problem because I thought that was just a few bugs & was sure that apple will fix it, but after many update of iOS so far, the pesisit still problem.

iPhone is more quality I've known, hope apple can fix this problem before finally losing the most loyal customers

Pages on issues of formatting to iCloud

I created a document Pages using the Pages application on my macbook pro I downloaded then to iCloud Pages so that I can access it from any computer. The issue I'm having is that I formatted some of the text to have a black background and the text to yellow color. For the life of me I can't understand how to change the background color of text on the Pages of iCloud. I beginning to think that changing the background color of text just is not possible on the platform of iCloud, but wanted to put this out there just to make sure.

I appreciate any help or clarification on this issue.

External hard drive mounting issues on MacOS Sierra

After upgrading to OS Sierra, I found that my USB3 drives, directly connected to my iMac end of 2012, turn off at startup. USB 2 disks are unaffected and connect properly. The only way to access my USB3 disks is to disconnect and reconnect every time I start the computer, then they are ok. I tried to reset the NVRAM, but it did not work. I found Os El Capitan until this issue is resolved.

TVos 10 - Apple TV 4 (Wifi issues)

My apple TV was working until it was upgraded to the new update 10 TVos great. I reset my router and modem, reset the apple tv itself and it has restarted several times, all with the same mistake of not being able to connect to the wifi network. My iPhone and computer are connected properly, get about 40mbps is normal, and the router is in the same room. Everyone knows these issues? No luck, anyone know a fix?
