  Not a good option, unfortunately.

  "allow multiple consecutive spaces" is an old option in DW who must be stopped. He inserts just several nonbreaking spaces when you press the SPACEBAR.

  It's ugly and unpredictable because it depends on the font size, sizing of browser text etc.

  I am a newbie of Captivate. I have a project with only two slides. There is a simple interaction of drag-and-drop on the second slide. Behind the targets of object and drag drop is a photo featuring the interaction. When I saw the project, this photograph is not found. I have no idea why it is endangered. The project was created on a Mac, and I realized that in a version of Captivate 9 Windows. Could be the problem? Is there an incompatibility known between the Mac and PC versions? Everyone knows that and if so, what did you do to fix?

  Rod,

  You cracked the code! It was indeed a problem with the image. The student has imported the image without first resizing. The resolution of the image is 6893 x 2581; a fairly large (huge, actually) jpeg. He then he shrunk after the import by dragging the corners inwards. The large size of the image probably caused an overflow of capacity/bug in Captivate that prevented the picture to display in the SWF displayed or published. I exported the image of the Captivate library, it loaded in Photoshop, it scaled to 2048 x 767 (still pretty big) and saved as a PNG-24. Then I deleted the jpeg of the original size of the library of Captivate and imported PNG image again, smaller instead. It preview and the image appears in the output, just as it should. Phew!

  Try to select Reset for iBooks Store on the file Menu in iBooks author before exporting it to iBooks for iPad you.

  The text is there, but it is in the same color as the background. You need to change the text color in the Color Palette panel.

  What finally solved my problem has been installed the module "Theme font & size changer", then change the font in the search box of Firefox thanks to the add-on.

  Pictures of launch and open the preferences. The button "use as system library" must be grey, as shown in this screenshot. If the button is gray, click it, and then restart iMovie and Photos or restart your Mac.

  Is your photo library a library of iCloud? Fix library will be to download again to iCloud. Fix it only as a last resort.

  Go to Safe Mode:

  Shut down your computer > turn it back on and immediately and repeatedly tab key F8 until you see a black and white screen. Use the up/down arrow and selectSafe Mode with command prompt.

  1. in safe mode, please do a system restore. Choose the date where you did not have this problem as your restore point.
  Start button > Search box, type system restore > press the Enter key > uac prompt > click on choose a different restore point > next > select dates as your restore point, until the click > next > finish
  To sit and wait. The machine restarts when it's done.

  The answer depends on what type of element you want to pin.  The only type of element you mentioned being a folder, you can easily do what you're wondering now and does not need to wait for a later version.

  In the 8 Windows desktop, when you drag an executable file (or shortcut) on the taskbar, a message appears that says "PIN to the taskbar.

  If you drag a document file (or a shortcut), the message will say "pine [associated application]"-in other words, "[name of the default browser] pine" for a html, "Pin to Notepad" file to a txt file, etc..

  For a folder, File Explorer is the associated application.  Therefore, if you open a file Explorer window, look for the desired folder and drag it to the taskbar, the message that appears is "PIN to the file Explorer."  Just click on it, and it will appear in the jumplist FE, above the frequent places, in a separate section called "Pinned".  You can drag things and down from there to order at your leisure.

  (The Control Panel, even if it is displayed in FE as 'File system', only let you pin on the desktop, for not not FE jumplist.)  There may be other special cases like this; I don't know, but it works usually as I've described, including for other system folders.)

  Just to be clear, I am a new user of Windows 8, far from being an expert.  I only know how it works because I heard today by trial and error.  So there may be more to what I can't help with.

  I tried reinstalling the software but the problem is still not resolved. I need to have Essbase Service on the list to allow the availability of service 24 x 7.
  
  I know that the Essbase version is quite outdated, but I'd be happy to hear from you guys.

  In version 6, you need to set your ip to the service. Go to start run and type cmd and click ok
  Then in the command window type
  Essbase.exe - service installation and press ENTER. The device must install.

  I have an AE comp I did with a few credits a few weeks which was 20 seconds ago. Now, I go back to edit it - done long 52 seconds (Comp changed settings), I increased the length of each text box appears a little longer; then I also copy & paste a text layer and put it between the 2nd to last and the last layer of text.

  Then I go and copy/paste about five more layers that all go behind what I had before - in my AE comp I also put the other. I edited all the layers of copied text and type in all that much good.

  I have a background with text on top of that. The background is precomposed and then all text layers in the final composition.

  When I go to the first I see * some * of the changes immediately.

  When I go to the for first now to watch, all changes are applied until the last layer of text I've had since a few weeks ago - including all changes made to these layers as length, font and size, as well as the text layer, I put between the last and the 2nd to the last layer.

  But that's it - once the last layer before is played, no layers of text appear, but the background is perfectly well yet, everything as it should.

  In AE, it plays well and looks great.

  What I am doing wrong? How can show in AE but not first - if the background shows?
