• My problem with my cd/dvd drive

  Hi all

  My machine is running XP Professional. My problem is on the CD/DVD drive. In the normal state, when it is empty, it can be opened and closed just as usual. But for most of the CDes DVDes, a problem will occur.
  The problem is firstly that the CD or DVD don't either not read / recognized. Then the CD/DVD drive is no longer available in the my computer window as it is not recognized as well. And also to defrost to manage the list, it is not any element of CD/DVD drive!
  In these situations, whenever I need to reboot the PC once or several times and try to eject the cd drive and off this CD/DVD and restart the machine. Then the drive will come back again!

  How to fix this please?

  This could be a variety of problems. More of how the optical drive is a failure or some form of hardware failure.

  If you're lucky, it's a loose cable or a rider on the CSEL which does not work well.

  You didn't say if it was a drive ATA IDE (PATA) or SATA, so I'll give instructions for both.

  Both:

  Open the computer, unplug and reconnect the cables to the drive and where they enter the computer. This, for the power and data cables. The power is usually permanently secure in power, then only concern on the side of the road.

  If it is an IDE drive, check the jumper blocks. The jumper positions may vary depending on the brand. There is usually a graphic on the disc. If you have configured to use CSEL, change instead to be the master or slave, as appropriate. If you have two chained devices and both are on cable select, rather use the master and slave designations.

  I have not really had a problem with select cable with most of the computers in the past ten years, but it was an old problem that has sometimes created a situation like you described.

• Problems importing files .wmv in After Effects.

  I'm going to echo previous posters convert your video to WMV to work at AE is one of the worst things you could do. So from a point of view of quality and a workflow perspective. Yes, the uncompressed files are large. you have to find a way to work with that.

  Before we get into too much detail, you should know that my understanding of the internal processes of a MAC or any computer self-taught self and therefore flawed and elementary is at best.  Specifications for my MAC will be provided below my Epistle.   The bottom line is that I caught an employee a long time ago on my iMac while I'm out and I noticed that she was doing something with the watchdog.  I thought nothing of it at the time, but the watchdog of name stayed with me.  Since that time, over a year ago, there were several problems with why online banking and other fraud concerns.  If the 2 are linked, I have no way of knowing.  But my iMac is essentially useless at this point, there are countless accidents every day... but before you spend $3,000 on the new, I thought that it prudent to ask for assistance from several sources informed.  My console, I noticed several instances of the hardware MAC (DAD) duplicate addresses.  I'll give you the result below.  I have also connected to my router Xfinity and that this month there were 5 distinct "SMURF ATTACKS" or DOS attacks.  Yet once, I'll give you the result below.  And finally, by connecting to my computer in standard mode, watchdog daemon doesn't seem to exist. However, when in safe mode, there is, but he is unable to initialize.  I followed Davis Linc instructions (from a question someone asked about watchdog not booting not) and his bash script output will be provided below.  Any help would be appreciated I run my business from my iMac and say State it mildly, I'm tired of spending days trying to solve this problem.

  The closure of blocking app which seems to be Photos.   I would back up all your files here first - probably two external backups - then try a photo / iPhoto repair pass - stop pictures / iPhoto, then launch the application with the option key (also labeled alt on some keyboards) and command.   You should get a dialog box asking you if you really want to fix the library.   If this fails, I would export or copy everything I could and rebuild each photo / iPhoto or - given other issues here - the whole of the environment.

• Satellite M40-129 Harddrive Bluescreen Error

  I got a M40-129 last year, created 2 Partitions and installed XP Pro SP2. Everything worked very well, but a few months I drive hard-error-Bluescreens. When I run Chkdsk afterwards, I get messages about bad securities Index or orphan data segments (translated from German). Normally I reinstall my laptop then go to a backup Image and all is well again. But these errors occurring weekly/daily now.

  I called the support, but I was told that the support would be only grab the laptop and see if the problem still occurs. But that's what I'm already doing. Is it possible to fix this?

• C410A Windows 7 x 64 Driver install issue - fatal error

  I have a clean install of Windows 7 Home Premium x 64 on a HP m8330f. The C410a driver package from the website installed perfectly on both machines Windows 8 x 64.

  However on the W7x64 I get error fatal hpoins52.dax, invalid drive R:\ network64.msi 1603 error.

  I tried installing the base driver, the reg32.dll, I deleted the mapping my real disk 'r' all that I found via Google with no joy. I did not attempt things from geek techno more complicated than those who are generally more trouble they set.

  I got c309a pilots and his retinue all previously installed without any problems. I ran a registry cleaner as well.

  Is there a program that will clean all the old programs of HP and I have a new copy of W7x64 on my machine. I can manually add the driver, but all I can do is print, I can't scan. In fact if I could get the scan function to work, I'd be happy.

  You are welcome. I too am a little confused. So based on what is going to be something keeps pointing to your R:\ player for some reason any. If rub the software did not resolve the issue you may have to give in the "requirements" of the Microsoft software installer. • How to maintain the life of your printer

  It seems more common that everyone feared how to maintain the service life of the cartridges from the printer itself.  As many variations of parameters and environment may play a role in how long your ink will actually last. A more official document can be found here about the science behind the ink, how to use it and how to make it last longer.  I will get into issues that affect the overall performance and life cycle of the printer.  I recommend to use the Startup ink supplied with the printer until he is gone because it contains chemicals of this condition and prolong the life of the print head for future use.

  I urge users to keep the printer connected directly to a wall outlet (namely for troubleshooting purposes).   Paper jams also cause many more problems if is not removed correctly.   After reading this, I'm sure you're aware, that's all common sense, but at the time where you do not consider one of these suggestions you think back and wonder "if I had taken 10 seconds longer to avoid that I wouldn't spend 2 hours more set.»  Mistakes are made when frustrations and lack of care.  These are not delicate machines that deserving the highest shelf in the bathroom, but an understanding must be met, that once it's broken this avoidable?

  So, then I explained that I was getting the error I described above on computer 2.

  He had me try again. I copied a single 24KO file and this time there was no errors.

  Naturally, I am always intrigued by the error message I received last week. It was agreed that the text of the error message is misleading and can indicate a variety of problems such as a bad sitting flash drive for corrupted data or a user error is a copy & paste or click on & drag. He recommended to click & drag as the best option.

• Why can't I remove the error HTTP 404 not found on my screen

  I got orange web page then that opened not more so I have been using google and kept getting HTTP 404 not found appear on the screen and blocks access to other sites.   I have now installed firefox. don't know what to do at all.  my computer keeps going really slow too.  It of an old version of advent and has windows vista.

• Printers HP Officejet 5740:5740

  My printer is about a month. I had a variety of problems, usually when the copy.  Examples: '1) paper tray empty' when he had a lot of paper, 2) "ink empty" referring to the black cartridge when there is still ink remaining and 3) "remove and install the indicated ink cartridge, maing it is correctly installed...» "" "all showing a red 'X' as if there is no black ink cartridge in the printer, but there is a black ink cartridge and it print well in black.    In addition, he occasionally says "Printing cancelled" at all times, but the error message does not disappear.  I was able to successfully copy & print periodically, but the bugs seem to keep coming to the top.

  We have internal video conference server, users participate in the VC from outside of the network, it works I've done port forwarding on the NSA-4600 on port 443 and it works perfectly fine, but now I've implemented SRA-4600 and configure users and bookmarks.

  now, users get the SRA login page, after putting it qualifications they obtained the bookmark of this video conference server, but when users click on this bookmark, they aren't able to do video conference and got a NSXMLParserErrorDomain error. I tried everything but still I get this error, any body tell me how I can fix this problem.

• BlackBerry Z10 wiped data and software reloaded

  Then, I saved my previous 9810 Blackberry link and restored the backup in the Z10.

  After a few hours, I realized that my schedule did not play a sound when it should have.  The notification has been set to turn on the led and the volume has been set, where it should be.  But still no sound.

  I opened one of the regular events in EDIT and selected HOME (Local calendar). Then selected "Reminder" to correct the selection of "from".  When I did an open window display settings 'Sound' which was 'off' and selections for "Led" and "Vibration".  I turned the sound 'ON '.  That solved my problem of tone missing

  But, the default sound is a gentle three beeps.  I went back to the "revival" and there is no way to access the screen that allowed me to activate the sound.  Since then, I use the calendar as an alarm clock, I'm in trouble because of his soft low.  It has not worked that way before.  The sound was controlled by Notification settings.

  I don't know who to warn about this problem.  In my opinion, a change that was not necessary.
