Sorry, I don't have a specific solution for you, but maybe the following
Articles would provide something useful:

Learn how to install Windows Vista Service Pack 1 (SP1)

Learn how to install Windows Vista Service Pack 2 (SP2)

And perhaps it would install SP1 of Safe Mode.

Just a thought... Vista SP1 is a large file of 435 MB... is it possible that
Download had a problem?

    Hi all!

Yesterday, I worked all day in a VI and today, unfortunately, I'm frustrated when I tried to open it. Received the following error message:

LABVIEW: Unable to load dynamic library due to lack of external symbols or dependencies, or a format file not valid. The "ENG633 v1.vi" file could not be loaded.

This message repeats when I try else open a Subvi.

    Step by step:

    1. I created a copy of the LabVIEW VI example: "FuzzyEx Tanks with control of PI." I kept the copy in the same original directory.

2 - I have edited the copy, created Subvi etc.

3 - once I finished my course of programming I closed all the cut (ctrl-x) files and copied (ctrl v) into the other folder.

    4. then I tried to open the next day and... bug! I just couldn't do

What can I do to open/recover the VI?

    I am using 32-bit LabVIEW 2016 in a Windows 10

I tried opening them and got the same error you did, so I them opened with a hex editor to see if there was something in the file, and there is literally nothing other than the value of 0x00 for the entire file.

  • How to fix a file not valid in the registry?

    Hello

Whenever I'm burning a disc, I get this file inside the disc «Desktop.ini, Configuration settings, 174 bytes»
When I clicked it, it will show "C:\Users\Owner\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Burn\Burn\Desktop.ini - la".
Directory is not valid. "And when I browse to this file, it is there.
Maybe it's my mistake I deleted some files incorrectly or maybe it is imported. My question is how do I know
If a file or not should not be there? And is there anyway I can recover files that need to be there and
throw the files that do not belong in the registry. Thank you.

Does the registry contain no files - it contains entries.  Desktop.ini is not a "register file".  I don't know why the system burning this disk desktop.ini location (although it wouldn't surprise me to have an .ini file included on the disc).  Can you open and/or read all the files you've intentionally burned (i.e., what is otherwise working OK)?  If so, I would just ignore this file (it does not take much space and isn't that a single file - is that a single file isn't?).  If other unsolicited files are also be burned to the disc, what are they?  If you have problems with other intentional files engraved on the disc, so what are the problems (what error messages are getting you)?

    I hope this helps.

  • mswmm file not valid

Is there a way to correct an invalid mswmm file?  I understand that this file is only the model for the photos and the video and music.  I preview my dvd project and when I recorded it I recorded it under the same name as the movie maker file.  I've done this before, but this time when I tried to open the movie maker file to edit it after the image previewed, he said it was an invalid file and doesn't let me open it.

Just to clarify... the Vista's Movie Maker project file would be .mswmm

  • If 'error exe win32 not valid' and the program runs what are the consequences

running 32-bit applicaation on win 7 and receive "not valid win32 application" error message.    the application continues and it seems to work, but what are the consequences of running the application?

    Hi Wayne,

Get the error: not a valid 32-bit application can have several origins:

I have listed some of them below.

File is corrupted, bad or missing:

Ø If the hard disk is damaged or bad, it can cause work programs to fail, either because not all data can be read from the hard disk the program is damaged on the drive. Run scandisk and defrag on the hard disk to check for potential errors.

O if you run the program from a shortcut on the computer, verify that the program is still on the computer. In some cases if the program is no longer installed on the computer, you can get this error.

File is not designed for your version of Windows:

Ø If you try to run a program that is not designed for your version of Windows, you can get this error.

Ø although many old programs designed to work in older versions of Windows work with new versions of Windows, unfortunately, not all programs will work.

O if the program is an earlier MS-DOS program or start program Windows, you will get this error.

Ø If the program is designed for a 64-bit version of Windows and you are running in a 32-bit version of Windows, it does not work and generates this error.

File is a virus, worm or other malware file:

Ø this error can be generated by a file that is a virus, worm, Trojan horse or other type of malware file. Often, this will result because the antivirus installed on the computer will not allow the file to install or run. Try to analyze the file to check, it is not a virus or infected.

O if the file has been checked and is clean, it is always possible that the virus protection program or another program installed on the computer is causing issues when installing or running the program. Start the computer in Mode safe and try to run the program. start the computer in Mode safe will be that nothing is running in the background that could cause this problem.

    Hardware incompatibility:

Ø If you get this error during the installation of a program, it is also possible that the CD-ROM drive or the drive that you are installing the program from is not compatible with Windows or has drivers that are not compatible with Windows.

O download the latest drivers for your CD player or other of the manufacturer of the computer or the manufacturer of the equipment. (Microsoft does not pilot for other materials)

Hope one of the suggestions above will help with your problem.

  • "The document is not valid. The index.xml file is missing.

I suddenly can't open one of my docs of numbers. I get a msg "'name of the doc' document is not valid. The index.xml file is missing.  I literally had the open document this morning without problem, closed, tried to reopen and now I get this msg... all in the same session of the computer. It began not after an update or anything like that, right in the middle of a session of the computer.  You seem to affect all the docs of numbers.  I can't open an any of them now.  I am running OS X El Capitan Version 10.11 and numbers 09, Version 2.1.

    Hi jg,.

The case usual this message, it is that the document has been opened in numbers version 3.xx, which converts it into a new file version that uses the file index.xml internal requested by Numbers ' 09.

You have 3 numbers installed on your machine? This file has already been opened in this application?

The file was saved to iCloud or opened by the iOS version numbers or numbers for iCloud?

Recommended 'cure' is to open the file using the 3 numbers, then save as... or export to format Numbers ' 09. As a result, remember numbers to quit smoking (v3) - menu numbers > numbers to quit smoking; by clicking on the red light closed the file, but doesn't end numbers. So avoid open numbers files by double-clicking on the file itself.

Instead, start Numbers ' 09 (v2.3) and open the file in the application.

    Kind regards

    Barry
