  • Where is the NOVO button in Ideapad K1?

    Hi all

I have a K1 Ideapad Tablet and I can't find the NOVO button to run the OneKey recovery tools.

Anyone know where is it? or how run OneKey recovery tools in my Tablet?

    Thank you!

The K1 has no OneKey Recovery, it is only available on IdeaPad laptops. I saw a reference to it in the hardware of the K1 Maintenance Manual, but I think they must have copied this article of a generic IdeaPad HMM.

You can do a factory reset by going to settings-> privacy-> Factory Data Reset, but above all, this removes your data and applications. The Android version is unchanged, then don't revert not your K1 to an earlier version.

  • Recommended solution for Thinkpad Tablet and VGA projectors?

I ordered a Thinkpad Tablet hoping to use it for a teaching tool, but I face a common problem: most classrooms (and indeed, most conference rooms for business) are projectors VGA.

I know there are a variety of converters HDMI / VGA (using Active electronic components, of course), but I was wondering if Lenovo recommends a solution or if anyone has first-hand experience (perhaps with the Ideapad tablet, or perhaps with a review of the Thinkpad Tablet model) connect to a VGA projector.

An extra (a little more specific question), it's the mini-HDMI output provides power to work something like the HP-HDMI-VGA connector. If not, are there drivers to support a USB output device / VGA (which are available for Windows, but uncommon on Android).

Thanks in advance for comments or suggestions!

The HP adapter works without external power supply with a warning: the output resolution is the native resolution of the Tablet, which seems to cause distortions on 4:3 monitors and slight overscan issues at least a part is watching 16:9. For my purposes (conferences mathy things), it seems it will work fine, although I will take a piece of chalk tomorrow just in case.

Please tell me we can make calls (2G & 3 G) Lenovo ideapad tablet k1.

Models are WiFi only, with a capacity of 3 G availability seems to vary by region, so you'll have to check the specific model you are interested in (or have) to know for sure.

  • Are deleted file really deleted?

My job requires to take pictures of my clients. I have transferred all my photos and videos on my portable computer and deleted all the files of the Ideapad tablet because I am ready my tablet to a friend for a few weeks.

When I go on my Gallery, it says everything is empty and I have checked everywhere and everything seems empty. My question is, these files are physically deleted? Can someone restore it? On my PC/Mac/laptops, I have to manually empty the barred, but this is not the case with the Tablet, if I am not mistaken.

I'm good to go or is there something else I should do to ensure that the deleted files are really gone? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Yes where the Tablet isconcerned,

  • Start-up K1

My K1 does not start. When I plug in, it displays 100%, then screen turns off again. Now the power button for periods long or short periods does nothing. Anyone know what could be the problem and the fix?

If you don't get all the lights after the holding in the power button, it's pretty much a hardware problem, but not easy to tell whether it is the button itself, or the control circuits of power on the motherboard.  As far as I know, there is no "diagnostic adapter.  The only way to fix is that she be sent home.  Unfortunately, I'm guessing that your K1 is no longer under warranty.

There used to be a Maintenance Manual K1 material on Lenovo web site, but I can't find any more.  However, it seems that it is available here:

  • My disappointing experience with the Lenovo Ideapad A1 Tablet

As a student who lives on a scholarship that I had saved for months to buy a Lenovo ideapad A1 compressed. After seeing it shipped to the United States, I felt satisfied with his system Android and several features it offered. I felt happy with it, up to 3 months after the purchase. I turned it on a morning expect to read the daily news and I noticed 2 lines horizontal purple color and a line horizontal color cyan who were stuck in the screen all the time. Logically, what I've done is to call Lenovo support, since I bought it only very recently. To my surprise, I was told that the Lenovo A1 tablet doesn't come with any kind of guarantee on the screen at all. And even more frustrating to know that the replacement of this screen is from $ 200 to $ 300 . It's still more expensive than buying another Tablet! How this is possible when the LCD screens are one of the products that have more problems in the manufacturing process?

Thank you. I sent my tablet to fix (it has not even turn on a couple of days) I am now waiting for them. I had good experiences with service of lenovo Centre before, I hope they can fix

  • A2107 Ideapad 12v adapter: will be the OA36247 for the Thinkpad Tablet 1838 work for this unit?

    Hi-

I have a Thinkpad Slate Tablet (Android OS) and adapter 12v that goes with this unit... will the adapter will work with the other Lenovo tablets like the Ideapad A2107? Thank you for the clarity of rendering.

The A2107 has a micro usb adapter and a micro usb charger can work. I use my Motorola car adaptor in the car and my usb cable for PC at work to load.

  • Cursor disappeared on my IdeaPad after upgrade to 8.1 Windows

Recently, I upgraded my Ideapad to 8.1 Windows with my graphics driver as well as another driver.

After upgrading my pointer disappeared on restart. My mouse pointer appears always as usual at the login screen, but after I login, it disappears. The cursor is still active, so I can still run applications, but the cursor is not visible and it is very frustrating.

If someone has encountered this problem with their upgrade and if so, would you be able to share something with me?

    Thank you

Only, I have solved my problem. After upgrade to Windows 8.1, I noticed that the Pen & Touch option was no longer available in my control panel.

For those of you who own a Wacom tablet, you need to reinstall you Wacom using the CD they provide and that should solve your problem immediately.

Windows was going to charge me $160 to fix the problem, saying that my computer must be riddeled with the Trojans, which is the reason why my cursor was not show.

  • Google Earth crashes the driver Intel graphics accelerator on Lenovo Tablet K3011W

Hi, I bought a Lenovo K3011W Tablet to be able to check the Google Earth maps on the road. Everything works fine, only Google Earth crashes the Intel graphics accelerator driver. It's obviously a serious driver problem!

I tried different versions of Google Earth, but without success (version 7.1 last 5). Have the most recent graphics driver installed and the Win8 preinstalled. Who can help to solve this problem?

I found the solution without any help from people here... Thanks at least for reading!

The versions of Google Earth 7 and 6 DO NOT WORK on Ideapad K3011W - they CRASH the driver Intel graphics accelerator!

Version 5.2, which can easily be downloaded from the Filehippo site is the version of Google Earth work. As far as I can see, this version works perfectly and I am happy with this solution, do not need the features 3D anyway. I want to check Google Earth maps in the field. So this could be the solution for others who have experienced this quite annoying problem.
