A12E6 creative cloud Desktop Install error

Mac OS, 10.8.4, 16RAM

I tried every "solution": cleaner app, uninstall CC desktop, create a new admin user, delete the OOBE folder, etc.

Any help please?

Hi Scott,.

My post may have overlapped your post. Thank you for your time. My problem has been resolved. I'm glad that your method worked for you. I remember seeing your trouble somewhere and tried it without success. Thanks for posting! I love how the Adobe user community intensifies.

Chatting with Adobe technical support, Sidibe, that solved the problem, there is no need to disable security or go to the root. I had already uninstalled creative Cloud Desktop before my message.

Simo had me delete files/tmp first. That did not work. Then we methodically renamed some folders and deleted Adobe Application Manager and creative cloud... like a few files I saved the cat and then I could be more specific. Yet, others may simply go to support chat and get the same help. I find it rather rare and welcome.

Installed Desktop CC while still in cat and it worked! Although she has shown none of my CC prev installed apps installed. However, their new installation works. Was afraid that my Lightroom DB can be found. It has been. FYI: do not have install everything just yet to date. However, AE, Photoshop, Illustrator, Audition, and first, my pillar apps launch very well.

I know that the transition to the CC has caused a few problems and controversies. I'm a developer and I understand that. Overall, I like much better than CS6 CC and before due to continual updates and a reasonable license that allows apps on my laptop and desktop.

However, I wish that if I chose to not to subscribe after one year (ideally because I am in Fiji or Bali Islands after a good show), my older versions continue to work as in the old days. My only pet peave and should press for this kind of functionality of Adobe. In addition, perhaps a kind of license just for students, fans, other than the line 'elements '. Many of these amateurs/students became valuable employees even if they were running CS4 Creative Suite Student edition they bought 3 years ago for $300.

Best,

Geoff
