I try to print from a tablets KindleFire HDX and Samsung Galaxy Tab on my HP Officejet Pro 7600 but have not found a way to do it.

    Hello spikeforce,

HP Officejet Pro L7600 is NOT capable of eprint.

However he manages wireless printing. All you have to do is to have the printer connected to your wireless network.

Also to connect your Samsung phone / tab and Kendle to your wireless network. You need a HP printing application to print using Samsung tab.

  • How to get the code request on 2542 DJ HD all-in-one

I am trying to add my printer to the HP Connect, but the instructions he gives to the printed code of request does not match the available options on my printer. It gives instructions for printers equipped with touchscreens, and mine has one. How can I get my code of request with this printer?

The Deskjet 2542 is unfortunately not able ePrint. However, you can directly use wireless to print.  When a printer has a wireless direct printing capability means your WiFi (smartphone, Tablet, laptop) compatible devices can connect directly to your printer wireless network without using a wireless router or access point. Here is a link to a web page that says wireless direct printing in more detail http://www.hp.com/global/us/en/wireless/wireless-direct.html

I would like to know if I can be of further assistance.

    Hi hp323,

Welcome to the HP Support forums.  I understand that you are unable to get to work on your printer Photosmart 7520 applications and that you can not connect to connected HP.

Connected HP was rolled out for the United States and the United Kingdom.  Please try connecting HP ePrintCenter with one country other than the United States or the United Kingdom as your choice of countries (which can be chosen in the lower left corner of the screen, please see the screen capture below).  Who will stop the redirection to connected HP.  What happens, is that you try to connect to the USA/UK ePrintCenter, which automatically redirects.  Redirection is help the country from the computer and tries to redirect to HP related to your country and it fails because there is not a HP connected to your country.

Regarding applications, HP is aware of the problem and working on a solution. It is recommended that you have your updates of product set to automatic on the front of the printer in order to receive the update as soon as it is available. If you wish to discuss with a phone support agent, please call HP Cloud Services at 1-855-785-2777 if you live in the USA/Canada region. • Pro Tips: Troubleshooting scan to E-mail questions in e-all-in-one printers and ePrint

    Hello e-all-in-one printer users,.

If you're reading this, chances are you have a problem of webservices in your HP e-all-in-one printer. If you can not scan to e-mail, use ePrint, or get a code application, this post is for you.

Many of later vintage (2010 and beyond) Photosmart, ENVY and Officejet series e-all-in-one printers share the same Web services and Wireless features. Within these series printer, you can enable wireless and Web services (ePrint, scan to e-mail, printable sheets) connectivity of the façade do their installation for use with Android, Windows, iOS, Macand Chrome OS much simpler than the old printer models. Of course, when things go wrong or there is confusion about the use of the printer and features such as printing and scanning to e-mail stop working, the correction of these problems is the same in most of the models.

WebServices are not connected: what affects?

When the webservices connectivity is lost ePrint, scan to e-mailand pads features will stop working. If you are just getting started with the installation of your printer, the inability to generate a code application (to add your connected HP printer or sign in to Instant ink) can be attributed to not being able to afford Web services. If you are affected by any of these questions, read on. I have some suggestions that might help.

    Ordinary remedies

    • Before set you Web services, make sure that your printer is connected to a network, either via an ethernet cable or Wirelessconnection. Print a report of Network Configuration of your printer front panel (usually this is located under Tools / reports) to confirm an active ethernet connection.
    • If you are connected wireless, touch the wireless icon printer . If you see as connected and there is an IP addresses starting with 192.168... or, 10 grand. If this isn't the case, run the Wireless Setup Wizard to connect you with your network name (SSID) and enter the password wireless you are prompted.
    • Ensure that the date and time your printer settings are correct. You can check and adjust this via the front panel of the printer in most cases and trivia: the printer Web server integrated.
    • Now, with network connectivity guaranteed webservices icon or (depending on model) and try to activate Web services.
    • If you have managed to connect and a leaflet printed, or at the very least, an [email protected] address is displayed on the front panel of the printer, perfect, Web services are now functional. This means that you can now ask your HP printer connected , or use one of the above characteristics *.

Note that ePrint and scan to e-mail feature are addressed later in this post if you still need help with these functions.

    • If the webservices are always not, try your printer restore default*.

    * Note that this step resets the setting up your printer wireless, address ePrint and other custom print settings. If you have created a custom @hpeprint.com address that it will be permanently deleted. For more information on custom addresses ePrint, click here.

    Here's how:

    • The printer's front panel, press the Setup/key icon and then tap tools
    • Select Restore to factory settings
    • Note this new printer may contain this setting under the heading maintenance of the printer instead of tools.

Then, to reconnect to your network (wired or wireless) and try to set a manual DNS:

Make a note of the IP address of the printer.  Then, follow these steps to configure a manual DNS:

    • Enter the IP address in a web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Internet Explorer), and then press Enter to go directly to this page. This should take you to your built-in Web server (EWS) printer.
    • Click the network tab.
    • In the submenu on the left, click Networking.
    • Then click on the network (IP) address.
    • Click Manual DNS server.
    • DNS preferred as 8.8.8.8 manual entry
    • Auxiliary DNS server entry as 8.8.4.4
    • Click on apply to finalize this change.
    • Note that menu above EWS items can vary in overall models of printers. If you do not see the exact topics that I've listed here, the subtopic you should always appear on the Networking tab.

Then, press the icon of Webservices or and reactivate your webservices (required for scanning to E-mail, ePrint , and other functions).

Then, if a scan to e-mail question has led you to this position, tap the scan icon and enter the email address that you want to scan to.  Then, recover the PIN code that you should automatically receive by e-mail and complete your scan to E-mail setup by entering this PIN code in your printer.  Ideally, if you are able to get this good service will be fully functional.

Alternatively, if ePrint is your main problem and all the above (except for scanning to E-mail steps) suggestions worked, try emailing your printer a print job. If it prints correctly, ePrint is back online. If you are a user of HP ePrint app, the app did automatically detect your printer? If not, go to the application settings and manually add your printer to the app using either ask you code or IP address of the printer. Finally, if you're a printable, user use your favorite applications on the front panel of the printer, or via HP connected.

There are advanced troubleshooting steps beyond what I posted here and you can find them in the Forum such as displayed by the employees, Experts and members of the community. Start with the basics and if you still can't not to take advantage of Web services from your printer don't be shy to reach out - HP Support Forum's is a great place to exchange ideas and help each other to get the most out of our products.

Thank you for taking the time to read. If you have any questions or comments do not hesitate to answer.

    All the best,

    Greetings,

All new users to check in this thread, the first and the main post is a practical resource for webservices connectivity solutions.

Try all the steps to recommend, as appropriate - if you encounter any problems apart from this I'll be happy to help you.

  • ePrint, claimed printer need unclaiming but the previous user is unknown

    Hello

I hope someone is able to provide some advice/help on how to make a printer, already claimed, not claimed for eprinting? The previous user has left the company, and I have the printer now...

Thanks in advance for your help

Hi, if you remove the front panel display web services printer it will make printers inactive email address and you can then re-enable web services to generate a new certificate claim code (email address). Let me know the model of the printer if you have problems with this.

  • HP Color LaserJet Pro M177 MFP: HP Color LaserJet not able to connect to connected HP

    Hello

I try to activate my printer (HP Color LaserJet M177fw MFP Pro) ePrint and much more, but I'm not able to do it cause connection problem, I guess.

When I'm trying to 'print the information sheet', for example, the printer is not able to connect (stay on 'Sign in' loop indefinitely).

My printer is less than a Vodafone EasyBox router, with firewall disabled and no specific barriers defined by me.

Should I set some port forwarding (even if they should apply to ignore the firewall, when turned on) or any other specific configuration in the router?

the same connection problem, of course, it happens when I do touch printer and console web administration, of course.

In addition, I'll let you know that my router is not blocking access, for example, to-from the web (i.e. I am able to manage my NAS from the outside, since he admitted to a DDNS) and other local devices

I alreay set 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 as DNS pri/sec and had an output of cycle after the series of DNS.

My printer also has a static IP address (defined by the DHCP protocol, based on the MAC address), so not a problem, I think.

Thanks in advance for your help,

    Lorenzo

    Hi Lorenzo,.

To enable Web Services fumctionality, you'll need to install the latest firmware on your printer (version 20160525)

You can locate the current version of your printer by selecting configuration > reports > Page of Configuration, the firmware version is listed under the information section on the printer.

Updated the firmware on Linux by following these steps, but I don't know if the latest firmware is available for Linux or not, try:

    http://hplipopensource.com/hplip-Web/tech_docs/man_pages/firmware.html

If the latest firmware is not available for linux, temporarily install the printer on a Windows PC or a my and install the latest firmware:

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/HP-Color-LaserJet-Pro-MFP-M177-series/5303438/model/5303443

  • eprinting impossible if printer standby

Printer (HP Deskjet 3520) is connected to the network, but users cannot access if the computer is not turned on. Thanks for your help.

    Hey Otterlou,

Sorry to hear that you still have problems printing directly to the e-mail address you have set up.

If the printer is on the network, it is able to connect to the ePrint service? If you have registered your printer to ePrintCenter, sign in to your account to see detailed information about the print jobs and errors and display the status of the connection:

    • Connected means that the printer is on a network with an Internet connection active and able to communicate with the HP servers.

    • Not connected means that the printer is not on a network with an active Internet connection.

To update the connection status of your printer on ePrintCenter, use the button refresh, under the name of your printer on the site. Do not use your refresh button of the browser, because that will not regenerate reliable connection status of your printer.

Note: If you use a USB cable to connect your printer to your computer, you also need to connect the printer to the Internet to use ePrint. HP ePrint requires an active network connection to the printer. HP Web Services are temporarily unavailable , we hear that the HP servers are not available.

In some cases the following may be required for ePrint address connectivity issues:

Simple corrections - first try these easy steps:

    1. Turn wireless off and then on again (under configuration > wireless menu on most printers)

    2. Turn the printer power off and then back on

    3. Make sure you have an active Internet connection. You can refer to "Connect to the Network," (in the ePrint > ePrint troubleshooting section) or "Print apps won't launch" (in printing applications > Troubleshooting Print Apps section)

    4. Turn your router off then on again (most routers do not have a power switch, so simply unplug the power cord at the back of the router and then plug it in again.) It may take a few minutes for the router power on and reconnect to your network).
      1. While your router is shutdown/reboot/reconnect, you will lose Internet connectivity Wi - Fi and wired connections to your computers. Close all the files that are stored on hard drives on a network before you reboot the router.

Confirm that your printer and your router to update firmware:

    1. Check updates for your device:
      1. Depending on your model, look for the updates using one of the following options on your device: 1) select the ePrint icon/button > check [Product] updated; (2) configuration > Preferences > product updates; (3) configuration > Web Services Configuration > product updates; or (4) settings > tools > updates

      2. In some cases, the unit may require reboot a second time after an update of product to reconnect. If you experience connection problems after an update that is not resolved by a reboot of your printer, delete and re - enable Web Services.

    2. Look for the firmware for your router updates
      1. Check your router help documents or the Web site of the manufacturer of your router for more information on how to find and apply the available firmware updates.

The problems of connectivity to Web Services:

    1. Delete and then reactivate Web Services on your printer
      1. This delete your printer from your ePrintcenter account and give you a new email address/request code for your printer. (The code that is the part of your printer to the left of the sign e-mail address @.) You can then add your printer to your ePrintCenter account and complete any installation of App ePrint/Print.

    2. Restore the default settings on your device. Follow these steps on your device:
      1. Delete Web Services

  • Restore the default settings (this is usually found under Setup > Tools menu)

  • Initial re-do of your device and add it to your network

  • Re-enable Web Services

  • Once the Web Services information sheet printing, use the printer claiming the code to add your printer to your account on ePrintCenter.
  • I got this information under the tab helps in troubleshooting of ePrint www.eprintcenter.com

Please let me know if you need more assistance,

    Thank you

  • HP eprint server offline? Connection error - 1

I installed a new photosmart 5520 Sunday and the man was cool.   Worked like a dream with the help of ePrint and Google cloud server.  I bought it to support a Samsung Chromebook's Google in need of a printer ready cloud.   Yesterday morning the print jobs are starting to have stuck in the print queue and not through.   The hpeprint site showd the printer as "offline" yet he was clearly on the internet as evidenced by the various reports, that I could print.    So... we assume the best action to remove the printer on the site of HP and re - register again.

After deleting the printer, I need to generate a new confirmation code to add the printer back again... followed the instructions to the letter, pressing the ePrint button to generate a new code to enter... nothing other than error messages.

A phone call last night at the HP eprint for assistance was immediately answered by a real person who says HP eprint servers had been up and down all day... and were offline.   Until they were still online, my printer won't talk to them... and no code has been sent.

Almost a day later I'm still not able to connect to the HP eprint servers.    Nothing in the news about the hacks on HP.  Nothing on this HP website or the forum about one or the other major global eprint server failure.   Odd.

Anyone else having a problem here?    Are the HP servers always down?   What can be done to re-establish the connection between the servers and my printer - button by pressing this darn eprint generates only a spinning wheel, followed by an error message-1 connection.

I found the problem... a few days after the condition appeared all of a sudden, it went just as suddenly.   I was on the phone with HP when the printer is back to life, so I learned why.    Seems HP rolled a big block of customers from one server to a new server... and I was in the limbo of roller for the HP Server.

I suggested that he could have a good customer service go to... maybe... Send a print job to everyone telling them ongoing disruption and that it was inevitable, and every effort was being made to minimize downtime.   Don't panic.  Do not reset your settings of the printer.  Don't spend hours searching for the cause of the problem.  Don't box your new printer and taking it back to the store.

But what the hell... they have just rolled with it and never said boo to anyone.   No email.  No work print that suddenly appears.  Not even a service disruption alerts to HP service Web site.     Really dropped this ball HP.    I have the printer and the concept of love, but not to repeat this mistake without talking to your installed user base.

    Waxhaw.

  • HP Officejet 6500 a e-All-in-one: ePrint is no longer available?

    Hello

I had this printer network enabled for a number of years, still works well. Wireless sound is NOT enabled.

At the beginning, I set up an email @hpeprint.com, but never used now. Now I have a need to use it and tried emailing, but it not happen/printing, although I had some kind of auto-answer/eprint system notification, that work has been received and if not print then check out ABC...

Start troyblshoot, I see that the hpeprint.com site has been decommissioned. This means that the service no longer works?

What are the options to I have print remotely on this model?

    Thank you!

    Hi Kneidels,

Hpeprint.com is now replaced by hpconnected.com with many new features.

    ePrint Service is always available.

If you are able to see the e-mail ID on the panel display front end printers, then the e-mail ID should work.

Also, you can find apps on android and ios stores remote printing. [HPeprint, remote printing]

  • How can I get the ePrint android app to print on the correct printer?

My home network is a HP OfficeJet Pro 8500 A909 connected to the network wired (not wireless), and which is NOT active ePrint (I understand it does not support ePrint).

The network also has a HP OfficeJet 7500 has yet once connected to the network by wire (not wireless) and what ePrint IS activated.

Both printers are on my network 192.168.1.x behind a router, but not a proxy with separate IP addresses.

If I send a print by the 7500 ePrint a email address, he goes out on the printer correct (7500).

But If I print using the HP ePrint home & Biz Android app that shows to the 7500 a print out immediately on the 8500 - the incorrect printer. The app shows the type of printer as 8500, although she still bears the name of 7500 a correct.

    So I have 3 questions:

    1. How could I get the ePrint initiated by app printed to reach the 7500 a?

I like the idea that it is possible to reach the 8500 and 7500 a remotely (when I discovered ePrint after buying the 7500 a I checked if the 8500 supported that to find it does not work). But, if I wanted to keep accidental remote printing to the 8500 then...

    1. How can I print on the 8500 email? (Remember, emailed still prints go to the 7500).
    2. How can I add the 7500 a the ePrint application so that I can print to the 7500 a still without disturbing the current app ePrint printer that prints to the 8500?

Thanks for the tips you may have.

    Kevin

Hi, I would like to try and answer your questions to the best of my ability:

    1. How could I get the ePrint initiated by app printed to reach the 7500 a?

With the printed file you want displayed in the app, you must see the details of the printer at the bottom of the screen on your device. If the printer you want to print to is not presented, you can press the arrow to the right of the name of the printer and then select the printer at the top of the next screen. It will automatically search and find printers available on your network. Choose the printer you wish to print and it will update the printer selected at the time of printing. I've included a few screen shots of what it will look like

    1. How can I print on the 8500 email? (Remember, emailed still prints go to the 7500).

Unfortunately, it is not possible to print on the 8500 email. The printer must have the ability of ePrint in order to be able to do this.

    1. How can I add the 7500 a the ePrint application so that I can print to the 7500 a still without disturbing the current app ePrint printer that prints to the 8500?

See the answer to the first question

If this does not solve your problem you can try to install the HP Home Network Diagnostic Utility tool to check that nothing is wrong with your network printers

  • How do you set up the email in the ePrint for iPhone app?

I just bought a printer HP Laserjet Pro 400 model 401DN.  I recorded the printer with the HP ePrint Center and I created an ePrint address.  The printer is connected to an Ethernet cable to a cable system in my house.

Can my first question - I use the iPhone app from HP ePrint to print items of the 401DN printer?  I think I can.

I installed the HP ePrint app on my iPhone 5.  App instructions say I can print the body of the email to the iPhone.  To do this, I think I need to go into the settings app - e-mail accounts - others.  I tried to use IMAP.  In the e-mail address field email address am supposed to use?  My primary e-mail address I use to send and receive all of my mail?  I am suppose to enter incoming or outgoing server information?  I was not able to find any documentation on how to configure the e-mail of the ePrint iPhone app part.

I tried to configure e-mail using my gmail account and it worked and checked correctly.  I can't figure out how to set e-mail using my main email account.

I tried to sign up information I think the soft looking and check fails.

    Thanks for your help!

    artmanphoto,

I'm sorry, but to get your question more exposure I suggest posting in the trade forums since it is a printer. You can do so at http://h30499.www3.hp.com/hpeb/ .
