  I have a problem when setting up a startup script on my C40.

  I put the following code (as a test) in a tata.tsh file:

  Good bye

  I gave the value correct chmod:

  -rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 294 Apr 19 15:45 tata.tsh

  But when I run the script there is stuckin the TSH and that it does not execute the xcommand:

• C - series C40 do not accept static IP address them

  We have a C40 CSeries who won't accept the static IP address, we have assigned.  I tried to change the static DHCP and back, sometimes restart between changes, but he won't use the static address, we are trying to give him.  We have another codec in the same place that I copied all the network settings (subnet and gateway), to ensure that they voted for this location.  I even tried to upgrade the codec (TC5.1.3 and TC5.1.4) while DHCP and then switch to static, reboot, however always the same results.

  You can check the error messages in the file/var/log/console? Sometimes, when the IP configuration is bad setbacks codec back to DHCP. Look for lines like this:

  Implementation of interfaces

  Ethernet speed: speed set to auto for eth0

  Maybe the /etc/init.d/S16network script detects question?

  It can print errors as follows:

  echo 'Static IP selected, but no game of skill.  Use the DHCP protocol.

  Or other messages. Please check/var/log/console for errors...

  I have a small sql script, I want the user to be able to run; Is a lookup table for "valid". The table has about 1000 lines, but users don't need to see the relevant lines for them.   I have a client with several codecs C40. It seems that I always ' have problems with the codec that is placed inside a piece of furniture closed in a conference room.  I understand the room temperature to a maximum of 95 but is at - it of log files that will show me the history of environmental information?

  I have three other codecs than the excellent work and are properly ventilated.  I'm going tomorrow with a heat gun to see the real time because I can not even touch the unit without burning.
