Access HTML RDSH according to 6.0.2

Hi all

I just upgraded the Horizon View Client on my Windows 7 and 2008 R2 2012 R2 customers.  Customers of 2008 and 2012 are RDS servers and PCoIP is the default protocol that is configured in the administration of the view portal.  I installed the portal HTML access on my server connection without problem (connection and security server are the 6.0.1 version already).  Also, I added the necessary BREATH entry in ADSIEDIT on the login server.

I can see my RDS servers on the web portal now (yay!), but when I click on any of them, I get the following error: can't set up the desktop to display protocol session.  Please contact your system administrator

On the portal of Directors of view, I find the associated error: could not launch the user XXX XXX pool. There is no available machines who reported the [BREATH] Protocol as it is ready.

Just to make sure that the portal was working, I tried logging on to Windows 7 desktop computers, and they have worked successfully.

I tried now to try to go beyond the question:

The view of the administration portal, I tried using RDP as default instead of PCoIP

I made sure that I can connect on the RDS servers through the VMware view Horizon 6.0.1 GUI client

I watched the services on servers RDS and the Blast of VMware Service runs successfully

I tried to add PCoIP and RDP, as well as the EXPLOSION of the EAP-ServerProtocolLevel.  I also tried with only Blast and it made no difference.

Nothing is personalized and it's basically a view OOBE Horizon facility.  This has been improved since the time of 5.x to see if that makes a difference.  Thanks in advance for the help!

Solved this by changing the external URL on the login server and my cert public the copy on the login server.  has given the public a friendly name of vdm and restart the services.  See complains about the certificates, but RDS of HTML access portal now works as expected.

  • RDSH Apps on access HTML Horizon

    Hi all

    Published RDSH applications and offices to Horizon 6.1.0 build 2509221 and able to see applications and workstations on "Horizon View Client" and throw them but only on the offices 'Horizon access HTML' are appearing and does not show applications.

    Is this limitation to Horizon 6.1.0? If this isn't the case, I'm missing something here. Installing HTML access when installing Agent Horizon on Windows Server with applications and services RDSH.

    When you install the version of the view connection Server 6.0 Hosted Apps are not available through the HTML access.

    Users can continue to use the HTML version 2.6 access to connect to desktop view running Agent.

    To use the HTML access with hosted applications: HTML (version 3.4) access facility is available on the download page of Horizon 6 version 6.1.1.

  • Access HTML option is not available on View Agent Install Server 2012 R2 RDS Server

    To all,

    I don't know if anyone has come across this. I've been setting up RDS Server based on Windows Server 2012 R2, and when I got to the point where I need to install the Agent from the view, I noticed that the HTML access option does not appear in the phase of the installation wizard feature selection. Therefore, access HTML for hosted applications does not work even when I activate access HTML on farms. I only noticed when I was trying to solve why the HTML access to hosted applications was not working.

    The RDS server in question is a physical server running Windows Server R2 2012 with all updates. I uninstalled the agent view, restart and then tried to install the Agent 6.2 view, but the option does not appear. Same thing when I tried the agent see 6.1.1. Any thoughts?

    Physical server is not supported by the HTML access, see details in the doc:

  • PeopleSoft framework 8,53 test - failed to access HTML document error

    I am a total newbie to PTF recording my first test. I have the framework running and am able to connect to the database. I'm recording my first test.

    From closed IE, I open the test recorder and click the 'House '. IE opens to my login page.

    I click on the record button and get a dialogue with "could not access HTML Document, please check your browser settings.

    I also tried to open a Peoplesoft session in the browser before you click on the folder with the same results.

    I use IE 9 on Windows 7. I tried to follow the Peoplebooks "Configure browser security settings" in "installing a PTF customer." However Internet - Security tab Options is not visible by me (IE version?, security locked?) so I can't add my domain name for the intranet zone security settings. What is the cause of my problem? (I have no problem accessing the site of Peoplesoft otherwise.)

    Any help is appreciated

    You run everything "as Administrator"? If so, try running "regsvr32 Shdocvw.dll" at a command prompt and then try again. If this does not work, we take a deeper look. I also saw someone say activating protected mode, the same error correction for them, but if your security tab is grayed out, you can probably change this. For reference, the browser that I use for the TFP has not protected mode is enabled. Another thought, have you turned on "generate HTML for Testing" in the Web profile your currently using?

  • How can I access html files in an external library?

    Hello world

    Our application used for a single .cod (cdlc) but we decided to split our application into, at least, two binary: (cdlc) and resources (library). Html (help pages) are now stored in the resource library. Problem is that the UI is in the heart then when a user wants to load some html help pages to load them from the library of resources...

    In general, here's the code that we had before (one single binary) and used to work well:

    Class klass = Class.forName("net.package.ApplicationClassName").getClass();
    InputStream is = klass.getResourceAsStream("/" + localFile);

    Now, I just changed the name of the class to load with the class name of resource library where the html files are now located. Here's the new code:

    Class klass = Class.forName("net.package.ResourcesLibraryClassName").getClass();
    InputStream is = klass.getResourceAsStream("/" + localFile);

    The klass variable is initialized correctly so I can assume the library of resources has been identified but 's InputStream is null if...

    What is the right way to handle this kind of problem?

    Thanks in advance.

    It's how to read a resource of another module:

    ContentConnection cc = (ContentConnection) Connector.open ("cod://module/path_to_file");

    I have not found any documentation of RIM which says that it will work, but it's apparently. Another approach would be to define a class in cod of resources which exposes the resources through your own api.

  • Access view horizon 5.3 HTML won't load - white screen

    I recently updated a view from 5.2 to 5.3 demo environment.  Now that the upgrade is complete, access HTML no longer works.  I have install access HTML on the login server component after the 5.3, as directed by VMware docs update.  I built the new Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 VMs and installed the agent, and then the pack remote experiment, according to the same docs.  If I connect to the server to display login and select Horizon View HTML Access, it prompts you to connect and then show me the pools that I set up.  When I click on a pool, the screen slides laterally to the Bureau and then sits on gray background and never loads.  Eventually the connection times out on the desktop of the target.  I tested with Windows 7 and 8.1 pools the base with the same results.  The two pool work very well in the native mode client.  I tried connecting from the security server and the login server internal with the same questions.  If someone has encountered this or could provide some troubleshooting resources, it would be great.  Here is a brief description of the environment:

    Connection to the server: Windows 2008R2 - view 5.3 with HTML access feature

    Security Server: Windows 2008R2 - view 5.3 (no firewall between the login server and security server - demo)

    Composer - Windows 2008R2 with SQL Server 2008R2 - composer 5.3 Server

    Pools:

    Pool 1 - persistent related Clone Windows 8.1

    Pool 2 - model persistent Windows 7

    vCenter: vCenter Unit 5.5

    The ESX servers: ESXi 5.5

    Well I thought about it.  I said to PCoIP external IP address to the internal IP address of the Security Server and no public IP address.  After fixing remote sessions that seem good.  That teaches me to update an environment at night when I'm already tired.  Thanks for the help Linjo!

    I followed this guide:VMware KB: allowing HTML access with the plugin VMware Horizon view Agent Direct Connect 5.3 5.3 horizon that does not work.

    Can someone guide me through the steps necessary to access html in horizon 6 with direct access plugin?

    Setup to view 6 has a small difference with 5.x, you can try by following steps below:

    1. install View Agent

    2. install the plugin VADC

    3 get web client package: VMware-Horizon-View-HTML-Access-x.y.z-000000.zip

  • How to enable HTML access in the office pool by using PowerShell script?

    Hello

    I use to create pools of auto related clones using a script PowerShell/PowerCLI Office. The script provides all the parameters required for the Add-AutomaticLinkedClonePool cmdlet and there is a lot of it! Creating pools in this way allows me to save about 100 clicks per pool.

    Now I want to enable access HTML for each pool, but I can't seem to find the name of the parameter.

    I checked the properties of the object returned by Get-pool-pool_id w7mw620 and compared to other similar properties office pool where access HTML has been disabled. I coulnd't not see any differences in the property values, which seem to make a significant difference for the setting "enable access HTML '.

    There was a property named "calculatedValues", which was true for one and False for the other office pool. I don't know what is the meaning of this property. Help the cmdlet Add-AutomaticLinkedClonePool or AutomaticLinkedClone-set to list this property.

    So... How can I set the property to allow access HTML from a PowerCLI script?

    Hello, in response to my own question again...

    On the basis of the above VBScript example, I invented this PowerShell code snippet that does the work of activation / deactivation of HTML access to one or more funds pools, by adding or removing 'BLAST' to the allowed protocols. It's a beast of a code, and I think that this code can still be optimized/shortcut. It works for me. It allows the use of wildcards to select a number of pools of office to toggle HTML access to.

    To use it, just customize two variables constant to match your environment:

    $dn must maintain the name of the root of your ADAM database. I think that this name is the default, but I don't know about you.

    $domain must maintain the computer name or address IP and/or port number where the ADAM database is stored. You must also have sufficient permissions to connect if it is something else then "localhost".

    function Set-BCPoolHtmlAccess ([string]$Pool_id, [boolean]$HtmlAccess) {
    <#
        .SYNOPSIS
            enables or disables HTML Access to the given VMware View desktop pool
        .DESCRIPTION
            This function enable or disable HTML Access to a desktop pool, by modifying
            the "pae-ServerProtocolLevel" property of the associated object in the ADAM
            database via LDAP. This property is a multi-valued attribute contains a array
            of string, which designates
            by which protocol desktops can be accessed. It valid values are "PCOIP",
            "RDP" and "BLAST". Controlling the existance of the string "BLAST" determines
            if the pool is accessible through HTML Access. The parameter Pool_id determines
            which object is modified.
        .EXAMPLE
            Set-BCPoolHtmlAccess "W7ST620" $True
        .PARAMETER Pool_id
            the pool_id of the desktop pool of which to enable or disable HTML access. Wildcards are allowed!
        .PARAMETER HtmlAccess
            Boolean value to set the HTML Access to.

    I am configuring access HTML and try to correctly configure SSL certificates on the VDI desktops in a linked Clone pool.  Documentation, VMware wants us to install a unique certificate for each desktop computer that will be a pain and from what I see, is impossible.  Does anyone have an easy solution for this?  The main problem that I notice, is that the IP Office address is what actually shows in the URL.  How an appropriate certificate can be created with a DHCP address he will change all the time?  Any guidance will be appreciated.

    Connect via a connection or a security server the value "use secure gateway" for HTML.  Only cert is the entry door.

    I can connect correctly internally without going through the Security Server or if you use the Client from the view when you use the Security server.

  • Certificate of generic see 5.2 horizon for HTML access

    Hello, can you please advise if there is a way how to set up the same certificate wildcard for all components, including the view portal and access HTML?

    We use a * .moravia - it.com certificate for connection of load-balanced servers and the Security server. When I connect to the portal view https://vdissh.moravia-it.com, everything goes well - see below

    Portal.PNG

    When I click on the desktop, I get redirected to https://vdissh-mnet-1.mnet.moravia - it.com, which is the first node of the NLB cluster and then I get the certificate below warning (generic does not work)

    When ignoring the warning I can connect with success on the desktop, but there's a certificate error will appear in the address bar - see below.

    Assuming that vdissh.moravia - it.com is the host name of your security server, just set your "URL external Blast" to "https://vdissh.moravia-it.com:8443".

  • Is there a way to access the HTML data as you can do with XML data?

    I am new to AS3 and I'm trying to figure out how to access HTML as you can with the XML data?

    HTML isn't XML, nor is the DOM supported as JavaScript does, so you'll have to go with the typical string operations. If it's on a website, you can use JavaScript to make the analysis of DOM for you in HTML via AJAX loading and working back and forth between JS<->As.

    Otherwise the Interior HAVE only, Regular Expressions are most useful for this. The HTML code in a viable XML structure analysis may be possible when it is not applying the same syntax rules it and is of a dynamic nature. For example, it is perfectly valid to put the content in a page that is not nested inside a tag, for example

    some paragraph

    Some text let only locked in the body. You need detect possible syntactic questions and manage all of them. Channel ops are much easier.

    Any specific markup? you have trouble to detect/work?
