Access mailbox

I recently updated my iMac 10.7.5 to 10.11.4. I don't see one of my mailboxes "on my Mac" or their content, but can get back them if I search for them by name. No response to "new mailbox", i.e. not be created, or being created but not posted. Any suggestions?

They are just hidden?

Try this, move the cursor to the right of "on my Mac" until appears a sign '+' and the text 'Show '. Click 'View' to see your records "on my Mac".

The image below shows the positioning of the elements to the right of the mailbox to iCloud.

We have a Manager call we use for AA to provide wishes and staff of mailbox access mailbox option and no DDI extension before you send us the receptionist (Call Manager driver Point to the monitoring console). Greeting for office hours and the other for off hours which takes messages.

We had a request to remove greeting during the hours of office, so the rings call the pilot immediately Point, but always need wishes and message opting for hours.

I have change the standard greeting of the current record to empty and the option after the salutation is to attempt to transfer to Pilot Point. This kind of work, but I get the system prompt to 'wait while I transfer your call', then a second or two from the Department of health before the Pilot Point rings.

  • My Mac has been hacked, abrupt configured mailboxes. Remote access?

Yesterday on my Mac a sudden notice appeared saying Exchange mail has been added. It was my old College e-mail although it should no longer be valid. Then a pop up says something invalid certificate and a person is faking d'[email protected]... Etc. Who is my former college. Then I tried to print something, and he says he can't trust my local printer and it took forever to print a document. Then 2 pop ups asking if I don't mind garguillo and other netbios to receive s of incoming connection, which I refused. I unplugged and changed the password of my iCloud. I don't have on the sharing options and I never configured this old email on my new Mac Pro retina. Is it possible, he had remote access? What could have happened? What are the main precautions to be safe on Apple devices? Can someone list them? I'm really worried. I have kaspersky from App Store download.

The first step and perhaps the only necessary one, is to get rid of your software "anti-virus". All these software are worse than useless on a Mac, and it may well be the cause of the problem, or make the problem worse.

Please remove "Kaspersky Security" by following the instructions on this page. If you have a different version of the product, the steps may be different. The product includes a Safari extension which may not be revoked by the uninstaller.

Back up all data before making any changes. Never install a software "anti-virus" or "anti-malware" again.

  • Why my email with indicator does not appear in my Inbox mailbox "tagged"?

I don't know if it's a matter of iMac or a matter of BONES... it was happening until I upgraded to Sierra and used El Capitan.  The problem started about a month or two ago.

I am able to email from flag that I want to keep at hand and my box (in the Favorites bar) shows 'spotted' by email that I have flagged 167 messages... but when I click on the Flagged mailbox on the sidebar, it is empty.  Although just after I upgraded to Sierra, with message indicator began to appear in the box to the letters of the sidebar, but now shows nothing.  I used to be able to click on a flag at the top of the Inbox of mail and it would show all of my email with an indicator, but with the new configuration, it's gone.

Then someone can help me figure what to do to show my email with indicator, I would be happier.  It's really a pain to have to scroll through all the mail in my Inbox to find flagged messages.  I know I can do a search, but sometimes I do not remember what to look for!

    Someone please help!

  • Missing under mailbox on a new Mac.

I recently got a new macbook pro (early 2015) with El Capitan.

Once I logged in iCloud on that, I realized all my mailbox folders were there, except a custom I did there on my old mac.

I am connected at all, so I wonder why this subfolder (sub archive) does not appear?

    Hello H_Miri,

Thank you for using communities of Apple Support and congratulations on your new MacBook Pro! It's very exciting to get a new computer.

I see that you access iCloud, but you are missing a file box custom mailbox that you made on your old Mac. Of course, I don't understand how it is important that you have all your e-mail folders. I want to assure you that you can get that back.

First of all, you can try to restore this folder on your Mac, if you have a Time Machine backup. Please see use Time Machine to back up or restore your Mac, more specifically, this section:

Restore from a Time Machine backup

    Restore specific files:

    1. Enter in Time Machine, choose the Time Machine menu , or click on the Time Machine in the Dock.
    2. Find files to restore:
      • Use the timeline on the edge of the screen to see your Time Machine backup files, as they were at this date and time. The timeline may also include a snapshots the.
      • Use of the screen and down arrows to reach the last time the content of the window changes. You can also use the search field in a window to find a file and then move through time, well that centered on the changes to this file.
      • Select a file, then press the SPACEBAR to preview the file and make sure it is the one you want.
    3. Click on restore to restore the selected file, or Ctrl-click the file for other options.

    Restore everything:

    • To restore everything in your backup Time Machine, use OS X Recovery.
    • To copy the files, settings and user accounts for OS X in your backup on another Mac, use The Migration Wizard.

  • Can you have your Local directory on your Google Reader, so that accessibility may be from anywhere?

I would like to have Thunderbird on several computers, but has my Local directory in the cloud, so that my email is accessible from anywhere on any computer that has Thunderbird loaded with access to my Google Reader, so that the same emails in all folders, sent and Inbox can be seen, used, saved and searched?

I think that IMAP is the best solution for sharing of mail between computers stores.

I never recommend or advise to change the Local directory option. This detaches the question of your profile folder and complicates the management and maintenance. If you do this, please do not forget that you did it and mention if you need help.

You can go a bit further and put your entire profile in the cloud. To do this, you must run the same version of Thunderbird on all devices, and all must have the same operating system to avoid problems of path difference and the problems of compatibility of add-on. (Since I use Linux at home but I'm forced to use Windows at work, this avenue is a non-starter for me).

Thunderbird assumes it has the exclusive use of the profile and to this end locks your profile. Changes to the message can come from various actions; user, filters, incoming messages, changes at the level of the server being synchronized etc. The profile of locking, no action of third parties independent can disrupt things. If there is no possibility of simultaneous multiple access to your message store (i.e. using the account from multiple computers at the same time) then get ready for the data loss and corruption.

Setting up a Bank of messages on a Cloud Computing service based is not effective. Default Thunderbird uses the format of the mailbox, where all messages in a folder are stored in one big file contiguous. So a relatively small change, such as the arrival or removal of a message of modest size means the entire file is considered as having been changed, and in general should be towards the top/downloaded in its entirety. I'm not completely sure, but I imagine that maildir storage could operate more effectively in this regard, because each message is stored in a separate file. However, maildir is a new feature in Thunderbird and has apparently some problems, so I can't recommend for general use yet.

  • How to transfer messages from the Inbox to another mailbox?

I need all the messages in my Inbox that I do not delete to access a specific mailbox. An alternative is to send all incoming messages directly to this mailbox. I can't find a way in the preferences to do this. Is there a way?

Reason: Inbox is not synchronized in iCloud. When you use the MBA and scatters messages manually I have to start over all when the iMac. And the messages still in the Inbox of the computer, that they have been downloaded are not in the other computer. At the present time I manually move all messages in a temporary Inbox that is synchronized via iCloud. Unfortunately I forget and find myself away without my recent messages from the Inbox or at home to run after the MBA to make the move. Are there solutions?

  • Synchronization of mailbox for MacBook Pro

Recently, I took the plunge and move to a MacBook Pro, after literally decades on PC. I used an iPhone and an iPad, so it was a logical move. What is not logical to me, that's why the phone, Tablet and PC are synchronized on the same mailbox folders, but not for the Mac, with one exception. I can access the Inbox of any device, but not all folders that I created. Furthermore, I am referring to my iCloud account.

    Thank you

If they are folders on my Mac, they will not sync.

  • Can't access iTunes purchases with an old .mac account

    Hi all

I used to have a .mac account in the old days and I bought a number of songs on iTunes using this account. When they turned off the .mac addresses I've migrated to the new system (which I am using to write this post). I just tried to play one of these old tunes, and he said that I was not allowed to play. So I tried to enter the address of .mac using the iCloud and he says that the account has been locked and he would send me an e-mail. The only valid option seems to be the old .mac email address.

Is it possible to access the email message that they (probably) was sent on the old .mac email address?

The end of the game is to get into this account and re - authorize all my songs to my new account, but the first step is to get there in the first place.

@mac.com addresses have not stopped. I use mine to this day. @mac.com, @me.com and @icloud.com al e-mails, end up in your mailbox to the current iCloud email account.

What I suspect is happening in your case, is that you've changed, or rather, add a new account Apple ID. For load of reflow or authorize your purchases made with the former Apple ID, you need to log in iTunes Store using this code from Apple.

To check which was Apple ID used for the purchase of any article, read the file (cmd + I) information.

  • I'm about to migrate to a new computer. My current installation of Thunderbird has the profile screen choose old allows me to choose an individual mailbox.

I could on my last new install of thunderbird to find instructions on how to recreate the start screen "choose profile" instead of having all the mailboxes are displayed on a screen. Is it still possible?

    Use Profile Manager.

Select the name of the profile
Make sure that you uncheck the "don't ask at startup".

  • Google comes to access gmail from Mail.app?

Logged on this morning and got two emails - in my gmail mailbox and mailbox to my email recovery.

    Hi Cathy,.

Someone just tried to connect to your account myAccount@gmail.com to an app that does not meet the modern safety standards.

    Details:

Wednesday, April 6, 2016 08:19 (central daylight time)

    myCity, mon_etat, USA. *

We strongly recommend that you use a secure application, like Gmail, to access your account. All applications made by Google to respect these safety standards. Using a less secure application, on the other hand, could make your account vulnerable. To learn more.

Google stopped this connection attempt, but you should review your recently used devices:

***?!?!?!? WHAT APP? The post office? Messages? Something else?  Is this even a real email that is really from google, or is it a phishing attack?

Talk to Google. The e-mail is legitimate.
