I'm about to migrate to a new computer. My current installation of Thunderbird has the profile screen choose old allows me to choose an individual mailbox.

I could on my last new install of thunderbird to find instructions on how to recreate the start screen "choose profile" instead of having all the mailboxes are displayed on a screen. Is it still possible?

Use Profile Manager.
Create a shortcut on the desktop for easy access.
All the information here:

Select the name of the profile
Make sure that you uncheck the "don't ask at startup".

Click on "start Thunderbird.

In the future, when you start Thunderbird, it will ask the profile you want to use.
