Access SQLite DB 6 BB
Hello
I already wrote my request of webworks thanks to google gears for SQLite DB. Recently, I decided to use HTML5 instead, so my application would run on OS 6. After several hours of laborious having to rewrite the application (and having to rethink traffic through asynchronous DB access of HTML5 ), I'm finally the application runs on OS 5 by using the file html5_init.js with no google gears in my javascript file. However, my request has always refused to operate normally on OS 6. I managed to refine one of the issues to something like this:
db.transaction(function(tx){ tx.executeSql('some_sql', [], function(tx){ var request2 = new XMLHttpRequest(); request2.open("GET", 'some_url'); request2.setRequestHeader("Content-type", "text/html"); request2.onreadystatechange = function() { tx.executeSql('some_sql'); } } }
Now, here's the problem, on the second tx.executeSql () call, the tx object is recognized as a valid SQL transaction object but the method call fails with the following exception:
INVALID_STATE_ERROR: DOM Exception 11
What could I do it wrong?
Hello
I was able to lay transactionw of the database with the callback functions as well as with the function asynschoronous to an AJAX call. It took a little while to get my head around it, but I got here in the end.
I tend to use the reminder of the db.transaction real for the next call to db. (Not the callbackfunction of the transaction itself... it's confusing!)
for example
{DB.transaction (Function (TX)}
tx.executeSql ('some_sql', [], tx_transaction_ok, tx_error_handler);
}
tx_error_handler
function (tx) {}
var request2 = new XMLHttpRequest();
request2. Open ("GET", 'some_url');
request2.setRequestHeader ("Content-type", "text/html");
request2.onreadystatechange = function() {}
DB.transaction (Function (TX) {tx.executeSql ('some_sql', [], tx_transaction_ok});
}
);
(I may have missed a few brackets etc.)
Have you tried this method? In this way that the db object is released prior to use.
See you soon

Unable to connect to the SQLite database in 9700
Hi all, I have created a dt application dynamically retrieves data from a database stored locally Sqlite the strange thing is that this application works correctly on my 9800 and a friend 9930 but every time that the use of this app on 9700, it is impossible to connect to the database. Here is the code that I use to connect to the database (same code has been compiled and tested on all 3 devices):
Connect to the database
try {}
Var myURI = URI.create("/store/home/user/documents/database.db");
DB = DatabaseFactory.openOrCreate (myURI);
} Catch (Exception e) {}
If (db == null) {}
Dialog.Alert ("unable to Access database');
}Is there something on the 9700 device that I don't know? Because this code works on other devices... Help please.
Finally, I discovered that it does not give the error if the database is stored on an SD card maybe 9700 does not support access sqlite on the memory of the device. Thanks for trying

How to dynamically access the SQLite result set?
I want to dynamically access the SQLite result set. Since webworks does not support the "PRAGMA table_info (table_name); I save all newly created information tables in a single two-column table called schema. schema has two columns, table_name, and column_name.
So I created a function to dynamically access the data in the table. I use the item = results.rows.item (i) and that the data access with item.column line.
column is a variable that will receive the value of a schema representative of column_name. When I alert (column) I get the column_name is correct, but when I used item.column my results are "not defined".
any advice on how to solve this issue.
I managed to solve this issue. The solution is the following: the normal way to access the data of the variable item = results.rows.item (i) is item.column (where the column is the name of the column in the database table. To access the data dynamically, I Specifies a var col1 to assign different values in col1. I then access the data in the database using point [col1] hope that makes sense. To access the files Photo and video imported photos
I had turned off as long as I could before moving to the home of iPhoto to Photos. I now use of El Capitan, with Photos and finds it difficult to find the photo and movie files that I import. In the program there, but when I search by name, they will not be displayed. The Terminal solution for show hidden files (defaults write QLEnableXRayFolders AppleShowAllFiles YES) does not work. I export the files from Photos to a new location and then can see them in a search. Is there a way to fix this? I remember he was in earlier operating systems, but am not having much luck right now.
Thank you.
Yes - there is access via the media browser (in the lower left corner of the Panel source in each window open/attach/upload under Support == > photos == > Photos) or as you would via export - still not access you it directly with the finder (and you should have never done that in the past - now with many operations in the background and iCLoud is simply not possible as only the program of database SQLite Photos) the status of the contents of the library)
This is for iPHoto but is most often still OK for Photos - How do I access the files in iPhoto

Hello
My places.sqlite file size is 30 720 KB I reached the maximum size, is there a maximum size for this.
Suddenly the visited links don't change is no longer the font color, that I prepare for an exam, I need visited issues to change color, to follow up on issues that I ended. But if I delete a few days of history, then again once, most visited links change color and then it stops, it seems that something is getting full and not able to accommodate more? Why my visited links don't change color after a number of visits? I would like to make a back up of the file places.sqlite. So I tried everything to remove the profile, uninstalling reinstalling, creating a new profile, and then copy paste places.sqlite etc, but as mentioned after a few visits, visited links is no longer change color, if I delete a few days in history and then a few visits is again change color and then stop again, so what should I increase so that my quota of visited links is increased , I also tried tweaking about: config and there has been no result. Although I was not really convinced that _pages growing brower.history_max (don't remember the name, but I'm sure you get the idea) will help.
Seems that while my visited links change color, quota is met and only if I delete the history of a few days will I get some links most visited to change color. Can someone enlighten us? As mentioned that my places.sqlite file size is 30 720 KB so I think maybe this has something to do with it? Would be very grateful if someone could help me. Thank you.Sorry it is not looking good.
- Unlike bookmarks history is not saved in Firefox.
- There is a possibility using Windows.
- Sync is not expected to back up things until the synchronization server
- If places.sqlite does not sort itself you may have to re-create remove it. You will lose your history, but can still access indirectly IF you have saved a copy of the appropriate
- Different databases to try to create new profiles
- History
is rather less robust than bookmarks, you should deliberately somehow return it upward, but it's too late now - Earlier versions of Windows
This is really the last chance. Make sure you have some places.sqlite you saved. Always before and after any attempt to restore the backup. Windows must be able to provide a previous version. One of these versions may be usable as is; or can be used after a repair with housekeeping. Of course, this is not the latest version but it should help. - Sync is not a server backup service.
Sync is intended to save on another device, no backup is the fact that the second device then contains synchronized information. IIRC Sync development ceased, and the replacement when available may include a server backup option. - Recreate the database of bookmarks (including history)
Unfortunately, recess can only use saved bookmarks, there is no saved history to use. Once the database is re-created, it will continue to store the history but it loses the existing history. This time take steps to save on a regular basis.- The backup profile or at least the places.sqlite in this

- Use the new profiles for database testing.
To simplify comparison of the results of the database different files create one or more new additional profiles. Then try to smash the places.sqlite file into the test profile with any other places.sqlite, you want to try. Allows you to directly compare the databases, without seeking to use sync and without changing the Firefox profile work unnecessarily. - CARE, do not rename or delete profiles created once or use anything other than empty folders when they are created. Don't nest in the other profiles. (At least until you know exactly how it behaves - post back if you never consider such actions)

Can't access "Show all downloads" via the "library" Panel
Top of page where you can click to see the progress of your downloads, there is the option «Show all downloads»
When I click on 'Show all downloads', it shows me the 'library' with only one option. On the left hand side, I see the option named "all bookmarks". "However, has nothing else where he must also propose 'History,' Downloads ' and 'Tags' alongside"all bookmarks ". So, I can not access my downloads (of course, I can access my downloads through my account, but not what I am referring. I always prefer to verify via firefox, because it is much easier and faster).
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance).
- Do NOT click on the reset button on the startup window Mode without failure.

Is it possible to access my favorites without being actually able to open firefox?
Firefox has stopped working suddenly yesterday, no error message, no response whatsoever, it simply does not open. I don't mind reinstalling, however, I would like to get first to my favorites. Is it possible to do it without being able to open firefox? Thank you
You really need to do is save all your user data.
If you back up all your Firefox profile on an external device your Firefox app would be protected. Bookmarks are a great asset, but what are your passwords, your options, your extensions, etc.
You can export your bookmarks to an HTML file on a USB key and access almost anywhere on any browser without installing it on a borrowed system. You must export the top with Firefox, and you should be able to use Firefox in safe mode. You can solve a lot of problems in Safe Mode, I would see if Firefox works in mode without failure.
If the question is on how to recover your bookmarks so you can reinstall them if necessary, your bookmarks are places.sqlite and by history, but bookmarks themselves are backed up every day you use Firefox in the bookmarkbackups as .json files directory that can be used to quickly replace all your bookmarks in Firefox while Firefox is in place.

Add a specific site, but when I try to access this site I get a page of the BBC website
The last two days, I have bookmark pages on the DEFRA website. When I tried to access some of these pages, I get a page of news from the BBC website. This page is the most recent that I consulted [this morning]:
http://www.BBC.co.UK/News/World-Europe-12258266The bookmark itself includes the logo of the BBC but the DEFRA page title. I have a print image on the screen that I can send to you to see.
I wonder about the causes of such a question.

Windows broke down and I need to reinstall Vista. So I can make a backup of my favorites, but I guess that there is a file somewhere on my crashed disk that bears this detail. If so, can I copy this file and replace in my new installation of firefox. If this file exists, I would like to know the name of the file that I need to copy and that I could find it in the directory.
The anonymous gives path is for Vista not XP.
The "places.sqlite" file is the file that contains your bookmarks and history. It is located in your profile folder.
See:
http://support.Mozilla.com/en-us/KB/profiles#How_to_find_your_profile
Display the hidden files and foldersIn XP, the path is usually:
C:\Documents and Settings\UserName\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\xxxxxxxx.default
("xxxxxxxx" is a unique alphanumeric identifier)When you copy data from your OLD profile to your NEW profile, copy individual FILES (some require more than 1 FILE). DO NOT copy the entire OLD PROFILE folder; It will not work.

Database without buy MS Access on XP
Hello
Really sorry to ask this, but I'm not too clued up with databases at all and can't find anything to help me in searching on the site.
I am creation / created a demand where I store data in a database. I have the database connectivity kit and have developed my app to run with MS Access (.accdb) connecting with udl files - files and I have MS Access 2010 on my dev PC. However, now I want to distribute/deploy my application on the PC with ONLY Windows XP installed, or any other free software. Essentially, the client does not want to buy MS Access.
What are my options for making storage database but not to buy MS Access? Clean machine XP doesn't know even what a udl file, so I'm confused.
Can I use a database of free and open source, postgres, sqlite program? If so, how can I join those? Can I use mdb files even if MS Access is not installed?
Really sorry for the stupid questions, my head is just a bunch of junk at the moment with all this mdb, accdb, sql, udl, dsn stuff. I just need someone to point me in the right direction.
See here for the MS Access question:
There is regarding the alternatives, MySQL and MS SQL Server Express. The one you should use depends on really is the complexity of your schema, and if you have a lot of dependence on stored procedures. The last time I had checked MySQL did not have a lot of support for stored procedures.
In addition, as an alternative to database connectivity Kit, you can also use the free LabSQL.

Can someone tell me how to access data from a database, sitting on another computer? I use the Sqlite database. It works fine in my computer. But I don't know hoe to put the database in another computer (server) and access the data from there. In my program, it is essential to do this for a simultaneous use for different users. Someone please help.
Kind regards
Cindy.
