  We would like to have a course online automatically by e-mail the instructor when a student successfully completes the course/quiz. We can integrate the javascript code in the course to do, but it needs to interact with the Server Web of BC that would actually send the email. We can encode this script, but would need information on the BC mail server and what options of script language can be used.  Is this possible with BC?  We can access a notification of shipment with BC emails that are not part of the workflow?  Thank you!

  You can equip a form online to skip the CRM and just send an email, as a form-to-email solution. Here is some information on this topic: http://kb.worldsecuresystems.com/kb/setting-form-email-using-web.html

  Basically, what I suggest is to have a form like the one described in the link above on your hidden page when they user finishes the quiz.  The IMPERATIVELY fill the fields of the form to send then you can try to use ajax to post the form back to the server with the appropriate action as described in the link above and that form will send the details to the e-mail address that you use for the form.

  It's the easy way.

  I suggest you take a step more, however.  Create a secure area where the quiz is so that you have access to information of that person as {tag_emailaddress}, {tag_firstname}, etc.  Next, create a web application to collect the results of the quiz.  Call the Quiz results.  Then, when the person is done with the quiz, on the last page of the quiz, include a similar form that is hidden in the page unless this form is not a form to e-mail but this form is a Web-based app user-created item form when the user submits an item web app.  You can use ajax still to submit/post the form once you have completed the fields with partitions using javascript.  Once the user submits this point of web application, it is attached to them, and then you can use {module_webappscustomer} on a page of the secure area to show them their results.  I assume that your quiz script can handle it, but if you want to keep a permanent record of the scores of the user in the database/crm BC then have to submit a web application results are your best way to go.

  You will need a plan that supports web applications however.  The first solution is easier, but it does not keep the partitions in the base of the BC.

  The morning after the automatic update, my XP PC monitor had a black solid (or was it blue?) screen with only the arrow cursor visible. Move the mouse did nothing except move the arrow cursor. I rebooted and fortunately the Windows logo appears, and I was able to access all the programs I normally use except Firefox. When I click on the Firefox icon in the XP boot screen, the arrow cursor turns into the hourglass. The hourglass stay right there. Firefox can run in an alternate universe, because when I ran CCleaner, I received a message saying that Firefox took a long time to close, and I want to force it to close.

  I'm still able to send and receive emails, which indicates the Internet access. However, with no visible browser, I don't know how to connect to my XP PC Web sites. How can given these limitations, I go about restoring Firefox on my XP PC?

  What "information" do you want to go? You can transfer iTunes downloads to another account, or to merge accounts - all downloads are permanently associated with the account that has downloaded (if only this account can potentially re-download purchases, downloads of updates of its applications, authorize such purchases on iTunes from the computer, and make in-app purchases in them).

  I had simliar problems both at home and at work while using Firefox. IE and chrome works very well in these two places.

  While I am at home, and not using any proxy, it worked after disbaling spdy i.e. network.http.spdy.enabled set to false.

  However, when I'm at work (by browsing through a proxy, Ironport in this case) and it does not work. I noticed that it is not only the keyword google search or google sites, but none of the https / ssl working site. He invites me repeatedly for authentication of the proxy, and even if I type my proxy username and password, it does not work.

  I have been with older versions of firefox for a while and have not had this kind of problem before.

  Any idea?

  The problem: the email accounts through the icon of the installer cannot access.  Configuration - mail accounts.  I can highlight the e-mail accounts in the Setup menu, but can't open it.  I can open all other options in the Setup menu

  I had this 9700 for 2 years and my configuration of e-mail account and operational full-time.  My email has been hacked and I fixed that on my desktop CPU but my 9700 will still not receive or send emails.  I did the following:

  1. Reset the battery removal
  2. Deleted service books

  I changed my email password on my gmail account using the web browser on my desktop. But I have difficulties to access the e-mail on my Torch settings so that I can type the new password. I go to 'Set up' and then have the choice of the "Internet mail account" or "business account". I click on the first and get a page entitled "existing users". Then I type my user name and password. I guess that this refers to my blackberry user name and password. But when I type the info and press "contuinue" I get a message saying "the user name is not valid. A user name must be at least 4 characters." My user name is my gmail address, which includes 16 letters before @gmail.com.

  Very well. Problem solved. Apparently when I first set up my Blackberry with my service provider, I did a combo of name of user and password on the Web site. Of course, I forgot all that I ever needed it again--until even two days ago.

  The trick is to contact your service provider and request the user name if you forgot. They can then send you a new password if you don't remember the original. With the correct username and the new password, you should be able to access e-mail settings, and then click the relevant e-mail account and change the password.

  It worked for me in any case. Good luck for the rest of you.

• Thunderbird crash when sending a message or a copy in the sent mail

  I use Thunderbird on Yosemite 10.10.4 38.2.0 (Mac), to connect to Gmail via their IMAP server.

  I have been using Thunderbird for many years. The last two weeks, a problem has resurfaced. It seems that Thunderbird loses contact with the IMAP of Gmail server. Two things occur:

  (1) crashes when sending a message: it hangs on "connecting to smtp.gmail.com. After awhile, I hit cancel them and send again and the message passes through. (screenshot attached)

  (2) hangs when copying to sent mail: I compacted my sent mail folder and it still hangs. Yet once I hit Cancel, and he me reprompts. After clicking ok several times, he finally saves the email in the folder.

  I am also intermittently an error message "unable to run filters on the message" or something like that. Sporadically, in this case it is so difficult to reproduce.

  I have a feeling that the problem is actually the Google server. I was in a new access provider, so at first I thought it was related to this. However, I have tested this in two places, including my university network (temple.edu) and observed the same problems. So, I don't think it's my local network connection.

  I found no information that Google has hurt. I think that other users would see the same thing. The problem with the copy sent mail before in older versions of Thunderbird. The usual alternatives were to compact the file and play with the process boundary setting.

  This is the case on almost every message I send now, and I send a lot of email, so I need to help this debugging.
