• Accident stroke width drop-down list does not respond after Yosemite to El Capitan update on mac.

  EL CAPITAN STROKE WEIGHT HATE!

  A picture says 1000 words. Help, please! I can only change the width of the line now by clicking on the up/down arrows, or by drilling in a size of pt.

  Very frustrating! I have not tried anything to fix the problem. I have deadlines so I'm currently not uninstall and reinstall I.

  No one knows why there are questions, but it is not only with El Capitan, you will need to uninstall, run the cleaning Adobe tool, and then reinstall. It has been the case with other updates of the system as well.

  Regarding the multi screen put in place: try and differently regulated #1 and #2 monitors. There are problems with multiple monitors as well. You could search the forum for discussions on this topic.

  Hi, something that was so irritating... At work I've got stoke weight des.25,.50 &.75 as well as 1-40. But for some reason any on my illustrator at home, they disappeared (see attachment). I have cs6. Not a huge problem because I can type it manually but who just like to know why! Can anyone help?

  These are just the default presets for the width tool. You can create as much of yourself as you like on the basis of the mentioned tool. Read the help on the subject and they have read also about the different types of brush, which can also help to reproduce the features of variable width.

  Ive designed a rounded rectangle with the value 1px line weight but when I Zoom I see its actually 2px for straight lines. IM assuming that it is a kind of antialialising, but I can't understand how to turn it off.

  I use Photoshop CC, I've not had much experience using any version of Photoshop, everything I learned is due to Youtube and play on Photoshop. I have trouble with the effect of race around an image. When I use the edge effect it adds what appears to be a solid and dotted line both. All the other images, I use it on just came out with a solid line. I checked the options to make sure that everything was the same and I can say it must come up with a solid line rather than the jagged line, which he continues to do. Also, I've included a screenshot of the problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated, or direct me to a thread where it's may already be addressed - I spent a few hours already trying to find a solution.

  Release mask clipping on this layer, do a right click and release the layer mask

  Hide all layers, except the imageand see if the image has flat edges on all sides.

In our packaging files, the strokes on the dielines has been set to 1 pt, but appear differently on different scales, and sometimes disappear. You dumpsters of a file screen to below 50%, 66.67%, 100% and 150%.   When I have a project that has an outline of race of say, 10 points and I resize the object, everything resizes except for the width of the line that remains fixed at 10 points. Is there a way to set the width of the outline so that it resizes with the other attributes of the object?

  Hi and first of all sorry for the terrible title. I've been looking for a way to create something like a regular edge effect, but the color should be based on the color of the edge pixel. I need something like this because when I am doing textures for my models and put them in a game engine, I have a problem where the white lines are showing on a certain distance from my model. The solution to this problem is to add color around the islands of uv that is similar to the color of their edges. What I've done until now is put almost every island uv on a layer separate behind the main texture, so when I want to resize this layer copied it would do the trick. But this is a long process for the more than 50 models, so I thought that maybe someone has a better idea of how to approach this problem. Thank you

  Do not know if this fits your needs but you can try, after performing a selection of pixels of the layer, select > modify > border, choose a couple or a few pixels and then edit > fill > Content Aware Fill. You could also simply extend the selection with Select > modify > Expand and then do an intersection of the selection with the original selection, and then Content Aware Fill, but I don't know if the additional step will buy you anything. If that works, create an Action and it in batches on all files, could speed things up.

• Rectangle-accident stroke with the last update questions

  Just updated to 2015.3.0 Illustrator.  When I draw a rectangle, we will say that it is 2 "x 3" for this example, it is not a path based object until I flatten transparency on that.  Then when I add a line, he told me that the size has changed because now is count outside of the race.  So if I put a 2pt on that line, it becomes now 2,0278 "x 3,0278".  Is it the update or do I have to change some preferences?

  Another option: If the line is constantly appearing on a single color, you can add a layer of color solid of the same color, placed behind the model layer. Since the smoothing areas are actually transparent, colors appear through, hiding the line altogether.

  Better yet, double employment with the fill attribute in artificial intelligence (in the appearance Panel), move behind the pattern fill and fill it with a solid color. This color will be 'fill' anti-aliasing of the ground areas and eliminate unwanted lines.

• Layer Style STROKE Pixel Bug?

  I found at random times when I draw a rectangle with the rectangle tool and then use style layer to a 1 pixel border, the border may have a fade on each side of that 1 pixel and it became 2 pixels.  It does not appear on all four sides, just randomly left, right, up, down...

  Try changing to «set myPlacedPDF1 to place the alias thePDF...» "It seems that CS5 will not accept just a path for the command of the place.

  The Dictionary says clearly the string or alias, so you should report it as a bug.

  That said, provide aliases and files rather than strings is a good habit to get.
