• Accident stroke weight Bug?

  I'm having this problem with the weight of the race on my items remaining the same pixel size when I adjust their size.  I had this problem in 5.5 and learned how to solve this problem by the Panel 'Object Transform' and de-selection 'adjust STROKE weight when climbing.

  Well, who died in CC, but the race is still obviously growing when I increase the size of my object.  The weight of the race has always said it's the same thing, but one can easily say that the race is bigger.  And him 'adjust STROKE weight when climbing"is grayed out.  I can't turn on or off.  Something is happening.  Can someone help me with this, please?  I would really appreciate it.

• Profile width variable STROKE weight

  Next to the weight of the race, theres a small menu that allows you to change the shape of the stroke (Illustrator has only about 6 of them). How I got on creating my own profiles for this?

  These are just the default presets for the width tool. You can create as much of yourself as you like on the basis of the mentioned tool. Read the help on the subject and they have read also about the different types of brush, which can also help to reproduce the features of variable width.

• Accident stroke width drop-down list does not respond after Yosemite to El Capitan update on mac.

  EL CAPITAN STROKE WEIGHT HATE!

  A picture says 1000 words. Help, please! I can only change the width of the line now by clicking on the up/down arrows, or by drilling in a size of pt.

  Very frustrating! I have not tried anything to fix the problem. I have deadlines so I'm currently not uninstall and reinstall I.

  What do you suggest me? I can uninstall and install this weekend maybe if suggest you.

  No one knows why there are questions, but it is not only with El Capitan, you will need to uninstall, run the cleaning Adobe tool, and then reinstall. It has been the case with other updates of the system as well.

  Regarding the multi screen put in place: try and differently regulated #1 and #2 monitors. There are problems with multiple monitors as well. You could search the forum for discussions on this topic.

• Weight of the race cannot be changed within 1 point

  I'm in halfway through a project of Illustrator and suddenly, without apparent reason, STROKE weight refuse to be what was that less than 1 pt.

  I read the previous older posts that suggest unchecking the "align new pixel grid objects" in the transformation Panel, what I've done.

  It made no difference. So, I selected all the features of the work and made sure the 'Alighn New items... '. "is unchecked. It also has not changed anything.

  It is not a problem for the new features that I do, I can do these less than 1 pt. But any / transformation of the object strokes, copied features or existing traits refuse even to be changed.

  Three questions:

  I can change that in this file and how?

  This problem occurs in all future files unless I change something, when you create a new file?

  How can I prevent this from happening again half way through creating a file (that is to say, why did happen in the first place! A I press a combination of keys inadvertently?)

  OK, for anyone who reads this and has the same problem with CC version of Illustrator, I found align the box grid of pixels.

  In the TRANSFORM Panel, it'S NOT in the drop down... instead, it is grey print at the bottom of the processing area.

  To really see the bottom of the processing area, you must FULLY open by clicking on the <> the arrows that appear to the left of the title word TRANSFORM Panel.

  You may need to do a couple of times to get the fully opened Panel.

  See the bottom of my picture. I see that this could be easily accidentally checked without knowing it's probably what happened.

• How can I apply a current color fill for a stroke, then adjust the construction of the color of this race?

  Hi all, I am trying to find a way to automate a simple process, but repetative I do countless times a day. Ideally, I would like to attach it to a combination of keys to speed up my work flow.

  I'm working on the drawings to the mark and color for the shoes, so the way I'm coloring these forms and lines helps separate the various materials and parts of the shoe.

  The coloring of the line drawings, I'm working with Pantone spot colors as fillings for closed path objects. I have then manually apply that same color for once, the value of the stroke weight 0.5px, convert this color CMYK spot and add 15% of the value of K.

  I found a code in a former post office to apply the fill color of the object selected in the race, but I'm going to but I can't the next step to find how to take this spot stroke color and convert it to a generation CMYK that I can then add black to 15%. -What is still possible? I spent an hour playing with the script and had luck for the fill color or by turning the white line. Thanks for the help!

• Add a line around the text with a stroke

  This has been driving me crazy for years and often found ways to achieve "kind of", but I thought someone here might be able to help.

  Create a text, vectorize, add a line. OK, now I want to add a line around this whole thing so it is dye-cut on vinyl. My Cup is just a stroke with a color defined in my palette. I create 2 shots, but I can not understand how to get one to go on the other. I tried also to duplicate the image, to create just a glimpse, but it is impossible to get exactly described by hand.

  If I don't explain this right, please let me know.

  

  So, I have the text converted to outlines, white and gold accident fill stroke. I need to be able to dye cut it. If you add a new related, it's at the top of the old. Basically, I want to add a stroke to the race, but only on the outside.

  It transforms the effect (which is a direct construction but does not really exist) in paths that exist for the cutting line. Do you need a real tool to follow line don't you?

• Adjust the weight of race when the measurement problem

  I have problems with the stroke on an object changing when I scale of this object.  I already read to uncheck the "Adjust STROKE weight when climbing" but my problem is that option is greyed out in my control panel to "transform".  When I go in edition > menus, there is a picture of "eye" next to him so he should be.  I'm trying to figure out how to appear so that I able and then uncheck the box, resize a picture and keep the same weight of race at all times.

  You need to change your preferences. In the general pane, toggle the choice "when you descale" "apply to the content.

  It was a question essentially about the creation of a table with ExtendScript for InDesign.

  Basically, you have two options here:

  [A] convert the text in your block of text in a table

  [B] create a new table and assign the content via the content of the table property

  [A] would essentially work for you.

  But as I can see from your first screenshot that this would not work as expected, if you are remodeling your current in a table content, because you are missing the required content of a column for some lines. Of more deviding tabs. If you provide, you can use the following code:

• Stuck with "Apply gradient in the race.

  Hello

  Total noob here I decided to practice with an old logo to learn Illustrator I. 1 I used the Trace Image but did not like the result, so he decided me to trace it by hand. It went well until, until I had to apply some type of gradient.

  I narrowed down it to "apply gradient across the shot", the function is to give me the effect desired as the original logo, but there is a problem... I cannot unite the gradients of race (as in the original), because the paths do not cross. I tried the access/plan STROKE but path which gives me a ton of paths and anchor points (associated gradient) and I still cannot join. I can join when cross paths but which compromise the original shape of the logo & I tried other things but could not find the solution.

  
  

  This gradient effect is dependent on the type of stroke and weight to make it work only with "Align STROKE to Center". The parameters are: STROKE weight 10pt /STROKE align to the Center/Apply gradient everywhere STROKE/linear.

  As you can see, I have a problem, connect the yellow gradients of T & O as shown in the first image. Any help would be appreciated, maybe I'm missing something obvious.

  I think I have what you want, but I have to him the way I wanted to. I wanted to use the appearance Panel so that everything remains editable, but how Illustrator treats the objects I kept getting the appearance of overlapping characters. What I did to create a copy of each character and to outline the text. I then compensate the path outward to create the yellow form and then compensate the path inward to create the white shape. I then created a mixture of large and small offset (is that a Word?) paths to create the background melting appearance. Then I changed the blend mode of each mixture to lighten and it produces the slot result.

  I can't understand how to change the order of the layers of my current script.

  Basically, the script creates a box with stroke (rule) on a new layer, but this new layer sometimes eventually be created under other layers that obscure.

  Is there a way to make this new layer always be the surface layer?
