  I doubt you'll find all the final numbers on it. If Adobe has them, they release them.

  In regards to personal experience, my agency maintain all legal documents in pdf format. We have the statistics that show that virtually everyone who comes after them downloads them at least and we don't get calls saying that people can't open them so I guess most of the people are going to have a version of Adobe Reader or another installation.

  But this is all just a guess and I could be wrong.
