Accidentally deleted bookmark.

Trying to find a bookmark I must have accidentally deleted. Can't remember the name, so need to see a history of deletions of bookmark.

Hello

Firefox automatically creates backups of your bookmarks, which can be useful if your bookmarks are lost or missing. To retrieve them, follow the instructions below.

  1. Click the Bookmarks button

    then select show all bookmarks.

  2. At the top of the library window, click on import and backup , and then select restore.
  3. Click on the date of the backup of bookmarks you want to recover.
  4. In the new window that appears, click OK.
  5. Your bookmarks in the selected date should now be restored.

For more information, see the article restore bookmarks from a backup or move them to another computer . For alternatives, see the article of recover lost or missing bookmarks .

This solve your problems? Please report to us!

Thank you.

  • Deleted bookmarks folder

I accidentally deleted on my bookmark folders and I would like to know how can I restore it?

If you've accidentally deleted bookmarks, then use "organize > Cancel ' in the Bookmark Manager (Bookmarks > show all bookmarks) to recover.
Hold the button is the first of three buttons next to the back and forward buttons on the toolbar in the library (Bookmark Manager).
That only works if you have not closed Firefox.
If it does not work so that you can restore bookmarks from a JSON backup in the folder bookmarkbackups.

    • Bookmarks > show all bookmarks > import and backup > restore

This will replace all current bookmarks and you lose the favorites that have been added since the backup was created.
    See:

In this case, you need to export current bookmarks to an HTML file before you perform the restore and import this HTML file after you restore the backup JSON.

Otherwise, you need to restore the bookmarks from a JSON backup.

  • Accidentally deleted address bar/back-front/bookmarks/tools/help/bar area. Help!

I accidentally deleted my address bar/file/history/tools/etc line, the top of my screen - I did it all by removing the extra toolbars - I don't know where or how to get it back. I did a system restore, but that did not bring him back. I don't know what to do! I had no idea who could be deleted! I have little technical knowledge and did everything I can think of to find it or bring it back.

In Firefox 3.6 and later Windows, you can hide the "menu bar" by "view > toolbars" or through the context menu on a toolbar.

Press F10 or press and hold the Alt key to bring up the 'Menu Bar' temporarily.

Go on "view > toolbars" or right-click the 'menu bar', or press Alt + V T to select the toolbars to show or hide (click on an entry to switch from the State).

  • I accidentally deleted a website of "Most visited." Is it possible to add back?

During a visit to some of my common sites, I managed to accidentally delete one of them. I tried to refresh the pages of the site over and over again, but none of them were present on my most visited tab.
Is it possible to manually add websites to the most visited, or at least add some back?

"Most Visited" displays a list of Web sites that have the largest number of visit, so if you want sites to (re) appear in this list, you must visit a site often enough to make it match the number visiting other sites in this list.

You can see the visit count in the library, if you make this visible column (View > Show Columns).

It may be easier to create your own file with favorite sites and put a copy of a bookmark in this folder to have more control on your favorite Web sites.

That will also allow you to classify them as you like.

  • How can I recover an iMovie video after the accidental deletion of iMovie?

    Hi all

I got a file from an old iPhone on my iMovie app and then accidentally deleted the application itself. How can I get the video?

He is not on any backup so I'll need to find it on my Mac.

    Thank you

The file itself should always be on the hard disk.

If you know the name of the file, try to use Spotlight to find it.

Click the magnifying glass icon top right of your screen type the file name.

The basics of the Mac: Spotlight helps you find what you are looking for

If you can't find this file name, try a format iMovie such as DV, MPEG-4, MPEG-2, MOV and M4V
