Accidentally uninstalled realtek audio NO SOUND!
To free space on my computer, I accidentally uninstalled Realtek audio from programs and features, thinking that it was not important and now there's a little x around the sound icon with "no Audio output device is installed". I tried methods such as having the windows to solve the problem and go to Device Manager. I also tried to go into the system restore and only save point showed which was after the time where I've uninstalled it.
This model, according to the website of HP came with Windows XP pre-installed, not win7

Hello
Going either on your computer or sound card (if you have installed a sound card) manufacturer's Web site > get a drivers and software download Section > put in your computer or sound card model number and operating system > Search Audio, etc drivers for it > download and install.
Or do a system restore to before the problem of Audio that's happened:

I have a dell studio 540 with geforce 9800gt graphics card. When I connect the hdmi sometimes I hear, but after awhile, the sound does not work. Now I have no sound at all. When I hooked the HDMI first, I found a realtek window asking me to activate the sound via hdmi. I find it anymore this window. I can't get the sound to work at all now. I even tried to use 3.5 mm with hdmi and got nothing. 3.5 worked when I plugged in the vga to tv cable, but the picture quality was awful. How will I know if my card grphx carries sound?
Hello

I tried to clean my computer a bit and I uninstalled my audio realtek without realizing I needed. My computer can no longer make sounds. How in the world I re - install it on my computer? I really need.
You should be able to reinstall it from the drivers disk provided with your motherboard. You can also check the motherboard Web site and download the latest drivers from there.

Hello
Another option would be to use Recovery Manager to reinstall your original Realtek HD audio driver - the procedure to use the Recovery Manager to reinstall the drivers and software is detailed in the document at the link below.
Once again, after reinstalling, restart the laptop.

I uninstalled my audio, without realizing that I have no sound. I know, stupid, however, that I did. How can I get that back? I tried to download but nothing seems to work.
VIA, as in the audio embedded... If the audio, is an expansion card, we could simply
move the map to another location of MB (stop), xp reinstall on
start-up... Being on board, System Restore should work. If the restoration is not an option,
then click on run, type: services.msc services.msc in msc, scroll down to the double line audio-mfg
Click the 'auto start' value the service starts, exit. Then, scroll down to windows audio,
do the same as above, when to exit.

I accidentally uninstalled my Sound Blaster. Is there a way to reverse uninstall?
I accidentally uninstalled my Sound Blaster, sound is now gone. Is there a way to reverse uninstall? I buy? Where?
Unless you physically remove the computer sound card, when you restart the system, Windows should detect the hardware and install it.
If Windows complains that he doesn't have a driver, you will need to download the appropriate driver (free).
If you have a branded computer (Dell, HP, Gateway, Toshiba, etc.) go to the computer manufacturer's Web site, enter the credentials that are required on your computer (usually his style, "service tag" or similar) and you should be able to find the driver for your hardware. Make sure you get one for your version of Windows.
If you have a custom computer or built by a builder who is not a Web site, you will need to identify the particular model of SoundBlaster you have and get the driver from Creative Labs. Start here--> http://support.creative.com/welcome.aspx#type_1 if you are unsure of the particular model that you have, you may need to open your computer and look physically the card. If you do, take some precautions appropriate, for example, http://tips4pc.com/articles/computer%20maintenance/how_to_open_a_computer_case_safe.htm

While cleaning my computer to try to speed it up, I accidentally deleted the audio driver and now it says me that the audio driver must be installed and my audio shortcut is zero.
I have tried everything I have to do?
Go to the official website of the manufacturer (example: toshiba.com) and go to the support section and pilots. Physically look at your computer or laptop for the model (example: Toshiba Satellite A300-ST4505). Search for it on the site, download and install the audio driver for Windows XP.
