Account / profile creation Windows 7Pro

Here, I am confused and hoping that someone here can help me to understand this.  I have a new Windows 7 Pro running on a desktop Dell Vostra system in a domain environment.  The domain controller running Windows Server 2008 R2.  After the new computer online, join the domain and the connection as an administrator I tried to log on as a standard domain user. When connecting the user, I was warned of the computer could not create a user account and the user would have a temporary profile assigned.  I restarted the system much, several times (as some have suggested this) but this has not solved the problem.  The strange thing is, the computer remembers that user is connected because he will be present at the opening session with the name of users already filled screen.  When I go to the 'Users' directory as administrator or user, there is no directory of the user.  NOTE: I tried the registry change that gives almost everyone to think which is to delete the profile with the .bak extension.  There is no entry in the registry with the .bak extension to remove.  There is also no profile in system advanced user properties.  This user has essentially no evidence on the system to always be there.  Nothing to delete, modify, copy or move.  I'm missing something here.  Thanks in advance for any help you may be able to provide.

am I want to do simply not possible, I see several articles re multiple profiles, but not on multiple windows operating systems

As long as the profile is when Windows 7 and Windows 8 can see (and write in it!), then it should work.

However, the default location is inside the users and this may be limited. Users has been implemented to be accessible from both systems?

Otherwise, you have created a shared folder accessible to both Windows 7 and Windows 8 to host profile?

The trick for the implementation is, once you put the profile where the two installations of Windows can see, is to edit the files respective profile.ini two systems to refer to the new location. You will certainly need also the IsRelative value 0 (i.e. false) and use of backslashes instead of slashes in path names.

A caveat is that both facilities must use the same version of Thunderbird, or they can bicker about version of add-on levels.

It seems that the latest version of your account is be corrupted again and again.

    • It could have been a recent update that ruined your account profile.
    • You may accidentally set something in a browser - or a profile that has corrupted the configurations of your account.
    • It could just be a corrupted file in your account that cannot be deleted.

One of the things that you might consider for that and for any computer you have in your home network:

    • Keep an additional account on the computer with administrator privileges.
    • Do not use the account.
    • Do not "add things" about the account, including additional browsers, the shortcuts that are not part of the standard operating system, and do not use the account for program facilities.
    • Do NOT set the account with a fingerprint Reader.
    • Do NOT set the account with any other additional security that the VERY GOOD password that you give the account when you create it.
    • Don't create fancy settings in the account, do not change the "customization", or other settings that alter the fundamental nature of the account.

Original title: Im sell my cell phone and I would like to know how can I disable my account my laptop windows before selling?

    Hello Sally,.

Thank you for visiting Microsoft Community.

I would be grateful if you can provide us with the following information to help us better understand the issue.

    1. When you say "disable my windows account from my laptop before selling" do you mean delete your user profile on your computer or disable your windows?

If you want to disable your Windows, you can see suggestions from Microsoft MVPS and the moderator community Andre Da Costa on 23 June 2013 in the thread below.

  • Customize the default user profile in Windows 7

    Hi all

"With our XP pool view we could make all our customizations you made to the image of the master then go in" System Properties "->"Advanced"->"User profiles"and copy the profile of the user of the model in the folder"Default User"hidden under"C:\Documents and Settings"and all new domain users who have logged in our pool of non-persistent linked clone would get all the customizations... nice and easy.

With Windows 7, the option to copy the profile is grayed out. To work around this problem, we found that we could use sysprep and that it points to a file with the option < CopyProfile > unattend.xml and need customizations, realize you the local administrator and copy them into the C:\Users\Default user profile. Here is the command that we would run

    C:\windows\system32\sysprep\sysprep.exe/OOBE/redemarrer / generalize /unattend:c:\scripts\unattend.xml

Subsequently he will reactivate the local administrator account, but it worked well... until we realized that we could only run sysprep about 3 times and then we would have a limit trying to rearm! Has anyone found an easy way to customize the default user profile without falling on these issues?

We tried to make as many customization we can with group policy, but we seem to have hit a wall

We use free software called DefProf made by ForensiT.

I have a corrupt user profile.  Windows XP. When I add a new can be the same, or should be different.  And the user's profile should match the user ID?

If the profile has recently become corrupted, you can probably get the same user by performing a system restore operation:

Otherwise, you will need to create another user and copy your data.  The simplest procedure is here:

  • Can I update to 10 32-bit of Windows if I run Windows 7Pro 64-bit?

I trust currently some fairly old legacy 16-bit software and I can run on 7 Pro x 64 with XPMode - a bit of a pain, but it is essential software, so I do what I do...

I had someone test install and it works on their Windows 10... they have x 64 processor and run x 86 windows 10... other than having to change the default installation locations, it works very well.

My question is, if I have a 64-bit version of Windows 7 Pro installed on my laptop, when I'll update Windows 10, can I choose to install a 32-bit version?  And if I can't, will x 64 run 16-bit software?

    Help!

    Can I update to 10 32-bit of Windows if I run Windows 7Pro 64-bit?

No, at least not directly.  To do this (to change your number of bits), you need to wipe your drive and reinstall the new type-bit Windows you want.  But you also have to do the upgrade directly from Windows 7, if you want Windows 10 to be free.  So, here's what to do:

    1. be sure to save all the files you want to keep and have your ready installers for your additional programs, you'll want to install again.

    2 - pass from 7 to 10.  You will stay on 64-bit.

3 activate Windows so that he knows that this computer is allowed for the 10 free.

4 - Download the Windows 10 Installer to a port USB or CD and use it to clean install 10 Windows (32 bit this time)

Another option would be to retain the 64-bit, but start your 16-bit on a Hyper-v virtual machine software.  Best of both worlds and you will have to use more memory since 64-bit allows you to use more than about 3 GB of RAM.
