ACE20 and the hashing algorithm

I have a secure Web site behind a Cisco ACE20 using A2 (3.2). Everything works very well. Only that now I need to renew my certificate. When creating CSR and send it to my CA I get this warning:

"Warning: your CSR has been signed using the MD5 hashing algorithm." Although the MD5 hashing algorithm is not optimal it will prevent you not to use this REA enroll your SSL certificate. VeriSign best practices recommend that you use a different hash for the signature algorithm. CSR information. "

Anyone know if it is possible to use SHA instead of MD5 or what I can do in this case?

I don't think you can change the method signature for the CSRs on the AS directly. But I would use something like OpenSSL to generate the CSR for SHA.

http://GnuWin32.sourceforge.NET/packages/OpenSSL.htm

openssl req -out c:\CSR.csr -new -newkey rsa:2048 -nodes -keyout c:\privateKey.key -sha1

The above will load a wizard emotional format for your CSR parameters similar to the ACE.

You can then download your key and cert when you get the money later.

  • .Sha MD5 and the shared key

    Hello world.

A quick question for you guys:

Make a secret key shared md5/Sha use when calculating hash?

    Thank you

Hash algorithms in itself nothing as a shared key. But with virtual private networks, hash algorithms are often used for the protection of the integrity in the form of a HMACcode. And here a shared secret is used.

  • ASA5510 and the encryption password

    Hello

In the configuration of an ASA5510 firewall file, the password is encrypted.

You know the type of encryption is used?

    Thanks for your help.

    Best regards

Configured passwords that match the locally configured user accounts are hashed using an owner hash algorithm.  The ASA then stores these hash values in the configuration file instead of the plain text values. When you put your password the hash is calculated again and checked history one stored.

    I hope it helps.

  • Addition of autofocus and the depth to the measuring Microscope

    Hello

This is my first post and I consider myself a newbie with LabView, but I hope I can get some answers.  Here it goes.

I have a measuring microscope with X & Y steps thanks to the drive motors.  The Assembly of camera and the objective of the CCD is mounted on a stage with the focus (Z-stage) and the magnification phase driven by step motors.

    My goals are:

-Add automatic update functionality to my existing VI, such as the image will focus on a selected area of the user of interest (ROI).

-Calculate the depth between two duties of the party appearing in separate Kings.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

My first tip: only post your question once.  Repeated messages are annoying...

The first step is to select a method of measuring of the development.  Over the years, several methods have been posted on this forum (search the Forum!).  My favorite is to find edges, then use to quantify for the standard deviation.  It is an indicator of development fast and accurate, and it will work pretty well on the Kings as long as they are not too small.

The second step is to develop an algorithm to know where is your best focus position.  The simplest method is to take pictures in a series of positions of Z, then measure the emphasis in each of them.  Generally, measures will behave as a parable, where the best development is at the top of the parabola.  If you do not have a top, you have not yet reached the position of development.  Once you know about the location the position of focus, you can move in small steps until you get a specific value.  Depending on your application, there may be other algorithms that could get there faster.

Once you have focused on the first object, save your position of Z.  Focus on the second object and note the difference in the positions of Z.  It's your difference of depth between the two objects.

  • Office distance, MSSQL and TLS 1.0 and RC4 encryption algorithms

Currently, SSL Labs suggests that SSL RC4 encryption algorithms are low, and that to always mitigate the attack of the BEAST in older clients, TLS 1.0 can be disabled.

I've read the threads which set out that MS SQL server had problems when SSL 3.0 and TLS 1.0 have been disabled, and also this turning off TLS 1.0 would break Remote Desktop (which this thread seems State requires TLS 1.0 and RC4 ciphers: https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa383015%28v=vs.85%29.aspx)

Is it possible to have a Windows Server 2012, which is fully patched, rely on a plu TLS encryption algorithm versions than 1.0 and the MCG (or other)?

If the answer is that TLS 1.0 and RC4 must be enabled for authentication of network layer, can offer you a better order of practical cipher who would score high enough on ssl labs?

  • How to measure the difference in time between the passage by zero of a sine wave and the rise time of a pulse on a same graphic?

I have a sine wave of 50 Hz and a pulse of the signal on the same chart. The difference in phase between the two is between 0-90 degrees.

Now I need to calculate the time difference between (when the sinusoidal wave passes through zero volts) and (when the pulse increases). The frequency will remain about even for the two signals.

The request is for a three-phase generator. In simple terms, when the difference in time between the passage to zero of the sine wave and pulse increases increases, it means that the load on the generator has increased.

    Awais.h,

For problems of this kind I recommend start writing the granular steps you would take to manually fix this problem.  You can't say LabVIEW (or any programming language) If you can't succinctly describe the solution to your problem.

The I want to address this problem is to:

    1. find all the zero crossing points and edges on the rise
    2. for every rising edge find the difference between the timestamp and previous passage by zero

  • Relay control using cRIO LabVIEW and the NI 9472 c series module

    Hi all

I try to get my program to run so far without success, and need help.

I use the compact rio with the program on labVIEW and the NI 9472 digital output module. I enclose my VI.

Basically, it's a test program to run an algorithm at a time. If I use a solid state format to get a time warp that dictates, time of execution of the algorithm. The operation by default, I put is for when the time channel produced a fake.

Question 1: The problem I have is that even if the time string is true, as it does not run. It remains in State sending false so only of false signals to my relay (which is represented by the round LED - relay switch a solenoid on and outside).

Question 2: If I can get 1 problem solved, the next step I have will be executing the same algorithm, but for more than a State of time. For example. "06:00" run algorithm. I want this algorithm to keep running as long as he sends signals REAL (which means the solenoid valve remains open until a WRONG signal). Then he will run again to say '08:00 ', execute the algorithm as long as he sends signals REAL and so on...

    In summary -.

-I want to order a relay (which controls a solenoid)

-L' use of components listed above

-With the help of semiconductor in labVIEW (VI attached)

-At different times, the execution of the algorithm UNTIL sends the WRONG signal and then return to the default state, which means that his waiting until the time channel product TRUE.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Kind regards

  • Closed the motor current continuous Brushless PM and the loop speed control of Induction motor

I need to implement the speed control of motors, asynchronous Motors PM Brushless DC and several other algorithms of cardiac control using LabView. It will take me 6-channel PWM and 6-channel 12 bit ADC, and a control movement of VI. Ideally a DSP would do the trick, but I would like to take advantage of the user-friendly interface of the LabView program to reduce development time. Please suggest the best hardware solution.

    Vaszzy,

the SCB-68 is just a connection for the 7842R block and it does not provide a conditioning of signals. You can use digital IO of the RIO card to generate PWM signals. The 7842R provides converters a/d for voltage measurements. To measure the current you will need high precision resistors to convert current into voltage.

    Kind regards

  • The disk (with no key) installed Vista Home Premium, and the license key OEM is for... Home Basic!

    I recently did a clean install with the disc that came with my Dell XPS6400 (bought in the auction) local computer, which had only "Vista 32bits" written on it and no product key.  I thought I could use the key on the sticker on the underside of the computer OEM license, even if the 2 characters in the 3rd section were partially missing - they had to be one of the other four.  When OEM license was initially considered valid, I realized that I had not yet downloaded a service pack, but after that, he was still to come as being invalid!  Then, I found that the version of Vista that was on the disc was "Home Premium" and the OEM for "Home Basic" license key  Do I have to reinstall the whole system, drivers, etc., in order to establish the upgrade?  (Please say "NO", there is an easier way to do this!    Here's the MGADiag. -I hope it helps.  :-}

The product key on the bottom will work for what he says he is, Windows Home Basic Edition.

Reinstall the correct Systyem, Windows Home Edition basic operation to use this product key.

And Microsoft sells more than Vista.

To reinstall Vista Home Basic read this information.

You can contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send you a set of recovery disks.

They should do this for a small fee.

And if you have never received a recovery disk when you bought, not that one 32-bit, vista, your computer must be on the hard drive to reinstall recovery Partition Vista to how you bought your computer, which may or may not work after the installation of the wrong edition.

The recovery process can be started by pressing a particular combination of the key or keys at startup. (Power on / start)

    Maybe it's F10, F11, Alt + F10, etc., depending on the manufacturer.

Ask them to the proper key sequence.

Some manufacturers have more available Vista recovery disks.

If this happens, you may need to try this instead:

You can also borrow and use a Microsoft Vista DVD, which contains the files for the different editions of Vista (Home Basic, Home Premium, Business and Ultimate) must be installed. The product key on your computer / Laptop box determines what Edition is installed.

Other manufacturers recovery DVDs are should not be used for this purpose.

And you need to know the version of 'bit' for Vista, as 32-bit and 64-bit editions come on different DVDs

Here's how to do a clean install of Vista using a DVD of Vista from Microsoft:

"How to do a clean install and configure with a full Version of Vista '

    http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/117366-clean-install-full-version-Vista.html

And once the operating system is installed, go to your computer manufacturer's website and get the latest drivers for your particular model or laptop computer.

And phone Activation may be necessary when you use the above installation method.

Is - this here anyway for the listener.html file send all information to index.html when it starts? How the javascript code would work in this case (for example if you declare global variables in listener.html, index.html sees it)?

If you had the two entry points to the same page (so background src = "index.html" as well), which would change anything?

The use case can be if the listener.html had a setInterval function runs every so often to calculate things, and then the application would be able to use this information.

I have to have just the page of listener.html send the information to a server, and then retrieve it via a server call the homepage?

    Thank you.

What if you had both entry points to the same page (so background src="index.html" as well), would that change anything?

This would do the trick. This means that your page is already starting to load at startup, so if you placed your algorithms on your page 'onload' event, it should work.

And the payment of a bonus, I also used this tip to load my scripts (in particular the JQuery that takes a while to load) so that when the user opens your application after startup, you'd be on your home page.

    Hope this helps

  • UCS-C200M2 and the performance of the 1980s...

Has anyone deployed UCS C200 M2 boxes and tried to team onboard gigabit interfaces? I'm void Mbps deployed VM CUCM 8.5.1 performance using the prescribed Cisco 1000 user model. I ran the NIC and stand alone teams and get the same result, seriously bad performance. I have a Dell 2970 on the same switch running ESXi and am pulling almost gigabit wirline her. The two are running EXSi 4.1. Both are associated by using the road based on the hash of the IP. Same downloads from the ESXi host IP address is dead slow.

Please open a TAC service request because we need more information about this configuration.

Just a quick check. You have all the traffic shaping configured on the virtual switch on the ESXi host output ports?
