Acer aspire error E1-531 IRQL on new install... Help!

Just bought Acer Aspire E1-531, I try to install Windows 8. I get error IRQL not less equal.

I know this will occur because of the incompatibility of drivers.

Acer also indicates to be updated before moving on to windows 8.

But everyone did. can you explain how to do.

Hi all

I found the way to install Windows 8 on this machine...

All you have to do is follow a flowchart @ site official acer on the upgrade manual.

I have in any case sum up!

Step 1 > install windows 7 on your system.

Step 2 > install all drivers.

Step 3 > download or purchase your DVD of Windows 8.

Step 4 > insert it into the disc drive while your Internet connection is connected.

Step 5 > start the configuration... Follow the instructions in the wizard.

ATTENTION > when asked to keep Windows settings or only files or anything > select keep Windows Settings.

Step 6 > you will be prompted to uninstall the Bluetooth driver (I met this problem).

Restarting...

Follow the instructions in the wizard.

You can remove the old Windows files in the folder "C:/Windows.old.

Hope It helps.

do not leave your comment. It will also help others!

  • Acer Aspire won't boot to the top! Help please!

Hello! I really hope you can help me on that because I don't know what to do... so this is what happened: I was playing a game heard music etc. (laptop: Acer Aspire E1 - 772G). However nothing happened, but then 2 minutes after my laptop froze and I waited patiently. After some time, he said something I don't remember and at first there was a sad Smiley biiig [ ]. downstairs he said some .sys arrested or something, I don't know... However, I turned off my phone and he did it again. Normally there must be the Acer's Logo and a Slogan just after clicking the power button, and some quarters would begin to turn around. Well this time it was no small circles and I started worrying. After like 1 Minute of waiting my screen just blacked out and 2 seconds after the logo was back once again, but without the circles. Then a black and blue message popped up, which says: "boot device by default lack or failed to initialize. Insert the recovery media"(I don't remember the rest). Well what I have tried is the following:
ALT + F10 (absolutely no reaction)
F8 or F12 don't know (shows me the error Code and what to do. He also says to put in my Windows installation, which I did not. I don't have any recovery media)

After the message appeared I pressed Enter, and there was a menu where I couldn't do anything. He only told me to press any key, if I put in any recovery media. As I said I didn't, so I just close the laptop. After that, I pressed the power button to restart my laptop... Well, it was the same thing. After that, I turn it off again and tried the things I listed before. I hope you can help me, quick if possible I need my laptop for many other things that are more important than to play haha ^ ^

I look forward to a quick response,

  • Acer Aspire V3 551G. New laptop keeps freezing.

    Hi all.
I literally just got my Acer Aspire V3 to laptop model 551G (about 4 hours.) Be my usual self, I already had it started, set up and install the program I usually use.

It runs Windows 8, has an AMD A10 processor and the AMD Radeon graphics card. (I bought it for moderate usage of Internet games and General quantities.)

I've set up with all my details etc and the first program that I intend to install is Google Chrome which I never imagined causing problems because it's a whole/commonly used the browser world.
Once it was over, I started to install Steam (engine thingy game program)

Everything was fine, these two programs have been installed successfully and opens without any problem. So I thought ' start sick good download my games ' first was Sid Meirs Civilization V. This started a download I decided to check my twitter / Facebook account on Google chrome. About 10 minutes in my browsing session, the frozen screen. Don't would not move the mouse, windows button could not take back me to the home screen, Ctrl + Alt + Delete does not work, so after waiting 30 minutes on something that is happening, I've resorted to now hold the power button. I rebooted and continued the game Steam download and preceded to check twitter and Facebook (oblivious to the fact that multitasking could cause the gel) and frozen again after about 5 minutes.
It has frozen a total of 4 times, and I thought, that what the hell, let's just factory reset, I had nothing to lose. He is currently set to zero and updates with the result.

If anyone knows if this has been a problem with this laptop or how can I find reports of errors etc (I'm not much of a computer boffin, I know how to use, but not fix etc.) it would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance for the answers.

I checked some reviews, and it's a nice platform you have.

I can give a little practical advice? With a new computer, slow down on downloads until you saw that everything works fine. Make only one download at a time for a period of time, if something goes wrong, you know what it is.

Eventually, your problem is an intense game on a laptop while performing a download, and it was just too much.

I don't know what OS you were using before, but your game might have problems with Windows 8.

  • Acer Aspire on reformatting receives an error "not customize Windows re to recovery utility.

I tried to reformat my Acer Aspire 5560. It goes through the system, the 1, 2, 3 and 4 recovery disk disk, then click Disk language toward the end, he receives a 'Fail to Customize Windows re for error recovery utility".

I've seen this error when people tried to create a partition for recovery for the future, but in this case I need to return my computer working again!

In the meantime, he will not restart and says BOOTMGR is missing Press Ctrl + Alt + Delete to restart and goes right in a loop. Help, please...

  • Adapter Acer Aspire M1640 Vista drivers 6 to 4 errors

    Hello

I'm new to the Forum of Acer.

My friend has an Acer Aspire M1640 running Vista Home Edition. In the Manager of devices under network adapters, there are four errors "all starting with Microsoft 6to4 adapt." The NVIDIA card works very well and can get internet. I followed the instructions elsewhere on the internet and uninstalled the Microsoft 6to4 (error code 31) card and then re-installed the component inheritance. The alert has disappeared. So I tried to remove other 6to4 errors that were... #15, #18 and card 6to4 #5 6to4 adapter 6to4 card. When I rebooted the computer, all four were present once again with errors. I tried to update the drivers for all, but I was told that they were already up to date. I tried the system restore because she had removed a bunch of stuff before calling me but the system restore points do not go far enough to fix what she was doing. The computer is very slow start and freezes from time to time. Any suggestions?

    Hello!

I uninstalled the network cards and I ran the utility of the seller and found nothing on the manufacturer of the wireless adapter. Then... I just reinstalled the NVIDIA LAN adapter that you provided and restarted the computer and found that the adapter 6to4 errors disappeared. My friend does not use wirless internet anyway.

The computer always starts very slowly.

I ran a scan disk to check the material difficulties and he fixed one error. But it always starts very slowly. Whether in safe mode or not.

Something I noticed while working on his computer is there are three different 'control' programs on his computer. Realtek, ATI and NVIDIA. They are likely a problem or conflict?

I'm not very tech savvy, but I try LOL

Thank you for your patience and your help
