  As you probably now, 4.4.2 KitKat was released for my tablet today. I was very excited, so I downloaded and installed. When the installation is complete, he was preparing things media (after the Android logo with Chinese words) and my broken tab 3 times during this process.   I can only suggest to try a factory reset.

     I bought Asher Iconia A1-830 at BestBuy and after 10 days, I discovered the Wifi connection problem. If you stay near router (1-3 meters) the WiFi signal is good (not excellent). If I go into another room - Wifi connection is poor or disabled. I changed it to another (same model).      My Acer Iconia A100 has Android 4.0.3 and all updates fail with the message:

     Network coverage is currently low

     but it is not 100%, and all other network functions work fine.

     I see a LOT of problems, debate and questions with this same error on models Iconia tab, but so far no clear solution.

     Is this one? or is this just an orphan machine?

     Their support website lists nothing available for the A-100.
