• Manual keyboard Acer Iconia W700-6499

  My Acer Iconia W700-6499 came with an Acer toteable stand covered with leather with a built-in keyboard.  There is no paper or electronic manual covering this accessory.  I couldn't find one online.  The problem is that I would like to know how to engage the switch next to the battery lights on the keyboard.  There must be a way to turn it off, or just drains the battery internal when the Tablet is in the stand and not connected on the support in plastic.  someone had this problem?

  I found the "Acer keyboard case Addedum" document that accompanies my W700.  The case has the model # KT - 1252 and there are a few entries in the section Archives 2013 these discussion Forums.  I don't see a way to attach the document but may be able to copy / paste If someone is desperate.

  I have a problem with my Acer Icona W700. If I connect (then only) is always displayed a white band in the middle of the tablet. It's like a mirror! Take a look at the photo...

  Hmm... I think I might have solved the problem...

  I had not tried to install it in UEFI mode, I did and now it works like a charm, not screenproblems! (for now at least - fingers crossed!)

  I used these two instructions:

• Acer Iconia W700 - abgesicherter Modus mit netzwertreiber details

  Hallo miteinander,

  habe versucht mein Iconia w700 mit win 10 in den abgesicherten Modus zu bringen. Damit war ich been, aber wie kann ich jetzt oEST Tastatur of Bluetooth USB Tastatur oder die treffen Punkt 4 im abges unter selection. Modus -Abgesicherter Modus mit Netzwertreibern - auszuwahlen of the F4 oder Punkt 4 antippen ist leider erfolglos.

  There're eine combination mit dem Laut - Steckel set an der Seite zu scrollen, oder die Bildschirmtastatur zu aktiviern?

  Dann As of unter dem Reiter 'Start' the den abgesicherten Start auszuwahlen und "Netzwerk" auszuwahlen opportunity:

  

  BEI einem Neustart bootet das Gerät dann direkt in den Mode safe mit Netzwerktreibern.

  ICH habe das selbst evil far, bei einem 10th switch, bei dem die Tastatur defekt war.

  Warnung! :

  Result war, dass das Gerät im abgesicherten Modus bis zum login screen hochfuhr und ich dann feststellen would, dass weder Touchscreen, noch Bildschirmtastatur funktionierten; are war also was clear more possible!

  ICH konnte dann nur durch das gleichzeitige press von (I think) Windows und Aus taste taste

• Recovery Acer Iconia W700 problem

  Hello

  I W700 Iconia tablet, and I'm trying recovery it.

  With the Tablet, I have some recovery disks. I copied the DVD 1 DVD Recovery 2, System Recovery DVD 2 of 2 USB flash drive. Recovery is up to 99% and then it says I should put Recovery DVD 2 of 2.

  I don't know what to do.

  I solved my problem! I bought an external dvd drive and it works with it.

  I recently bought a W700 Iconia, and no matter what I do, I can't figure out how to get my internal microphone to work. I searched every possible site and video I could find, and have not been able to find a solution that works. I tried setting, Control Panel, you name it. I tried. I really need to solve this problem, someone here has a solution? I also tried to search the forums here, but absolutely nothing. The internal MIC does not work, and to my knowledge it is not even in the list of the audio recording devices... Thanks for any help you can give me.

• Miracast works only with ptv3000 on acer iconia w700

  Hi, I'm having a problem with miracast on my acer w700, I recently bought a netgear ptv3000 so that I can view wireless whats on screen to the TV with miracast m. However when I add the device to the devices it starts to connect and then suddenly disappears out of devices (windows 8.1). But when I look at the ptv3000 in the old devices control panel appears. When I click on devices in the slide in the sidebar, and then a double then or any other option of the project, it alters the size of the screen on my tablet a square of the resolution and is not displayed to the t.v.

  I have another computer acer laptop - (acer aspire 5750) which has exactly the same problem. However, I have a pro surface that works without problem.

  I think it's a driver issue, but I'm not sure what drivers are required for miracast.

• Plextor PX-256M5M and Acer Iconia W700 incompatibility?

  I have the Acer W700 with msata SSD Toshiba 128 GB. Just bought a Plextor PX-256M5M and installed in the pc. Seems to not work well. I managed to install Win8 on the drive, but it took about 10 hours. Everything about the disk is going very slowly. After installation, I can't boot into Win8. He tries, but only suspended, and sometimes after a long time, a fatal error of win8 screen appears.
  Insert the Plextor drive in a USB enclosure and run some tests of disk and benchmarks show no problem at all. I am able to use the drive as a standard USB3.0 drive.

  Called Plextor support. They say that I ran into a compatibility problem, and they cannot help me. FW/Bios is the latest on the SSD and the PC.

  Anyone with some ideas here?

• Acer Iconia W700 8.1 update

  As the title says, I have an Acer Tablet, a w700. I upgraded to 8.1 and basically became unnecessary.  I had to go out and buy a dvd drive to reinstall windows. It runs great now, but I have a few questions.

  1. everyone I spoke with said not to upgrade with this tablet and leave with 8.0. This can be done? I will be able to update? This will cause other problems?

  2. is there a way be updated so that he won't not wobbly?  I heard that the only way was to buy a USB upgrade with 8.1 on it and restore windows in this way, otherwise, drivers will weird.

  3. just a general question, why Microsoft has so that hard bleeding?

  You must apply the updates of Windows 8 applicable before moving on to 8.1. However if it
  known issues and then the upgrade to 8.1 is not always possible; as BIOS, chipset or main engines

  conflicts.

  You must be in contact with Acer Support ask in their forums.

  Hi all

  We bought a package in the paperwork for the keyboard, and dock/keyboard W700 renovated last year he mentions a USB to micro USB.  It seems that he should have the cable but nothing was in the box.

  If Yes, then I will contact Acer factory made and ask for one that we have no way to load the keyboard except with one of our phone charger cables (pull the plug of the CA).

  I messed up my computer by installing windows 8.1 and everything went.  No keyboard more, Acer ring etc.  I want to just this 'thing' to the way it was.  It didn't go back or restoration available and do not send a set of discs, although I have a portable hard drive that might work, if there is such a thing as available backup discs.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.  Do I have to send this thing to the manufacturer, is it a seller out there that makes this service, etc.

  When you say ' it didn't go back or restoration available "do you mean there is no recovery partition ("eRecovery")? If you restart your machine & press logo Acer ALT F10 & - this should take you in the eRecovery mode where you can restore your computer like new.

  If your keyboard has stopped working, see if you can borrow someone's USB keyboard and try from there.

  If all else fails, then Yes, you will need to send it for repair. Chat with Acer for your area by going to the Web site, click on "support" and then "contact Acer".

• Acer Iconia W700 Parition (Please HELP)

Reinstalled windows, everything was going well until I realized as TI / me installed recovery partition of 20g on a 64g hard drive. I have 6 GB of space on my shelf that allows me to use it for anything but the elements of the regular tablet which is useless for me. I bought another small laptop.

  OK fixed it. Apparently, the disc was a record ghost who took physical space and had no purpose. I used the disc part forefully remove and then management in order to extend the main disk drive.

• Acer Iconia W700 - slight delay in contact after inactive for more than 5 seconds

  I upgraded the OS 8 Win provided with the tablet to Win 8 Pro and since then, I have a slight delay in recognition touch screen after the Tablet is idle for more than 5 or more seconds. As a result, I have to type something twice before it responds. Once I spent idle time, touch works exactly as expected. It is only when there is no tactile activity for more than 5 seconds. It becomes a bit annoying when you play a game or navigate the web where you sit idle for a second, click on a link or an action and I must so he struck again because the contact does not save.   Go to Device Manager, look for human interfaces, then change the two input USB device and uncheck the first line in the current tab.
