  Have you checked the page drivers & Application for your model on the Acer support site? It may be well out there.

  If not, then you will find maybe on your APPDRV1 disk (if you have one with your recovery discs) or if you go to start > all programs > Acer > Acer eRecovery Management, then click on "Restore" (left pane) and then choose "reinstall drivers or applications. It could be there too!

  Finally, if the above does not provide "Acer Media" software, back up all data & reinstall Windows from scratch using the partition recovery (or disks) - a little drastic, but will restore you the PC for the day, you bought (with all software pre-installed too)!

  Try to enable all disabled applications. Go to START > run and write MSCONFIG inside.
  When the System Configuration window is open go to the Startup tab and allow all applications with blank Startup Item.

  Restart your computer and check if everything works well again.

• HP Pavilion dv7 Notebook PC: Windows Media Player replacement

  I currently use Windows Media Player to play CDs, DVDs, BlueRay discs and for monitoring emissions of air with my unencrypted, i.e. without a cable box, to view TV shows, because I have a TV card installed by HP, and a digital antenna I bought at HP at the time wherever I bought my 5 year old laptop, which came with Windows 7.  This laptop also contains the HP MediaSmart software where I can also do similar things.

  I understand that if I switch to Windows 10, Windows Media Player will be uninstalled and I can no longer use Windows Media Player.  My HP MediaSmart software will still work in Windows 10?  I spent more than $3,000 for this laptop to be completely loaded.  I don't want to upgrade to Windows 10 if I use is more CD, DVD, Blue Ray disc, Aboriginal, TV etc...  I also bought this laptop so that I can also burn discs, this function will always be available.  If this is the case, what other players and burners are here for Windows 10?

  If there is no players free alternatives and burners or Windows 10 will not do what I paid to my original purchase with Windows 7, so there's no reason to switch to Windows 10.  This has been one of my main reasons for not upgrading to Windows 10.

  Please be aware that Windows Media Center will work no. LONGER on Windows 10.  Microsoft no longer supports Windows Media Center on Windows 10 then you won't be able to run it and record live shows and others.  Currently, Microsoft has not any replacement software to Windows Media Center so please keep this in mind when you are considering upgrading to Windows 10.

  If you like using Windows Media Center, the idea here is to not upgrade to Windows 10.

  On my iPhone with iOS 9.2.3 6plus I deleted and reinstalled an application called Insight Timer.  I used this app on multiple devices, and my profile has a little info about my story and activity, as it's a social media app.  It has my picture, name and e-mail.  But oh, woe, when I reinstalled it, it came with a totally different person's profile.  How can this happen?  What can I do?  Pretty scary.  I contacted the other party; She was surprised, is not tech savvy and made very little use of the application itself. Now, everything I do (join a group, make a friend, a mediation session time) appears on their profile!  I contacted the team that sells the app - they had no solution or an explanation, only questions.  I answered those, and then all the e-mail they sent me has disappeared from my e-mail account!

  I plugged my lamp to my laptop and the desktop software told me that there was an OS update (version 7.0 bundle 2406 v7.0.0.585 platform 5.0.0734). I thought fair enough - probably extra security, etc. on the new version so I advanced and loaded after doing a full backup.

  This delete all my contacts, media, app world and all the applications that I had downloaded. I did a restore but then put it back into place all my contacts and the media, app world and all applications seem to have disappeared, and I can't seem to get them or even to make global icon reappear.

  Well, RIM develops upgrades of the OS, your mobile operator "put out there" for you to upgrade.

  And there are many warnings rich to do upgrades of the OS without first accomplishing your own backup device independent... but this is not serious now.

  1. Anywho, do... go into Options > device > Applications, search AppWorld on your list and IF it is, delete it.
  2. Perform a simple reboot on the BlackBerry this way: with smart BlackBerry poweredphone, remove the battery for a minute and then reinsert the battery to restart.
  3. Now, use your browser to go to the www.blackberry.com/appworld and download/install AppWorld again.

  I have an Acer laptop with Acer Cloud installed on it and I chose to use the folder my videos in the media app Acer.

  After doing so I have foud this is to store multiple copies of the same videos in the cloud (even if I don't have one of each), why is what is happening and how can I fix?

  I fixed it by removing all videos (but not the originals) and time all the video directory. Still not sure why this happened.
