Acer to control brightness screen pass 12

Sometimes I can't abdjust the brightness of the screen.

The brightness level of the screen indicates the level of brightness change but the actual brightness of the screen remains the same.

Auto brightness is turned off, of course.

Sometimes he corrects by restarting, but often fails.

Any suggestions?

Yes, I tried all the different options, thank you.

I finished check if there is a updated driver and I saw there is one for the VGA driver. Since then, the problem has not re - occurred, but I'll wait awhile before I confirm that the problem is solved.

  • Controls full screen not there to watch ESPN.

Hi, so I can display the controls full screen in Chrome and IE, but not firefox? its strange. I don't want to switch to another browser, because I like really 28 FF.

Some problems with Flash video playback can be resolved by disabling hardware acceleration in Flash Player settings. (See this article for more information on using the Flash plugin in Firefox).

To turn off hardware acceleration in Flash Player:

    1. Go to the Adobe Flash Player help page.
    2. Right-click on the Flash Player logo on this page.
    3. Click settings on the shortcut menu. The Adobe Flash Player settings screen opens.
    4. Click the icon in the lower left of the Adobe Flash Player settings window to open the display panel.

    5. Remove the enable hardware accelerationcheck box.
    6. Click close to close the Adobe Flash Player settings window.
    7. Restart Firefox.

This Flash Player help - display settings page contains more information about the Flash Player hardware acceleration, if you are interested.

    Hello

I suggest that you perform a system restore to the date where the program worked very well and check if it helps.

    System restore

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/products/features/system-restore

Note: when you perform the system restore to restore the computer to a previous state, programs and updates that you have installed are removed.

You should maybe contact the manufacturer of the computer for the installation DVD and learn about the process of getting the same.

  • Live webcam updater screwed to the top of my Acer W4 (brightness controls and screen Metro broke)

UGG knew the deivce is working good

I did a live update for a new bios it installed and work, after the reboot, my screen metor is slow, he hasmore icon than he had done previously and now my brightness control has stopped working on the screen. I can't turn down the brightness at all in the control parameter or power controls.

How to take the subway at only 3 rows of icons and how do Iget my brightness control works again? It's virtually unusable tablet, screen is bright andmetro screen is horrible slow. Already done a reboot, live update shows no new updates.

Need help on this a little.

Nevermind, I saw in the device manager that the firmaware somehow wantedanother restart to complete the update of the firmware. Very strange, because it seems to complete the first time and the live update did not show anything in the waiting.

  • Acer v3 - 772 G screen flicker

Hi, I had this problem with my laptop Acer Aspire V3 - 772G for awhile now. This question seems especially is manifested when the brightness is less than 100%, or when a load (for example, a video game) is placed on the video card. I read a lot of responces about similar problems on this laptop, but am yet to find a solution. I am running 1.15 version of the BIOS, but I tried all other available versions, and which did not help anything. I use the latest graphic driver Intel of the section of downloads for this laptop in particular, and I also tried about 5 different versions of generic drivers intel. This problem occurs when it is connected and when running off battery. I also tried to plug in an external monitor, and none of the questions arrive on this screen.

My system is running a intel HD 4600 and a Nvidia GT 750 M.

I also added a video I took of the show on youtube. https://www.YouTube.com/watch?v=sPwie7GgUpw

I'm a bit of a loss as to how I can solve this problem. If anyone can help, I would be very grateful.

My suggestions are to try to reduce the problem. I agree that a cable problem can explain well not all symptoms.

If the fault had appeared only on one device then it would be reasonable to suspect a failure of this particular material. In this case, it is reasonable to assume that the Intel hardware and nVidea are very good because the fault is at the same time however an external monitor is fine. Which narrows the issue for the Panel and cable. As "stirring" has no effect, it is likely that the cable is correct. This leaves the Panel.

You say you have tried every BIOS available with no improvement. Frankly, in my opinion, there is never any likelihood that change BIOS would cure a fault of this nature and I would never recommend this course of action. I would say that a failure of Panel is the most likely the cause. To be more precise, I'd put my money on the associated control circuit, but this aspect should be referred to a service for an accurate assessment.

  • Cannot adjust brightness screen on Satellite Pro L650

    Hello
I am running Windows 7 64 bit on my Toshiba Satellite Pro L650 and I cannot adjust the brightness of the screen. Fn + F6 key and Fn + F7 do not work and there is no entry for it in the control panel.
I tried to download drivers VAP 1.4.1 as explained in Toshiba newsletter help, but there was no need for this template.

Could you please help me with this?
    Thank you

  • ProBook 4530 s: cannot delete the HP volume/brightness screen displays

Hi, as the title suggests, I want to remove the displays on-screen volume/brightness/capslock/numlock on my laptop

Short story about what happened from my side, I got my laptop 3 years ago and the display screens were not there, until I reformatted my laptop a few months ago to windows 7 Professional (a win7 Ultimate) and the screen came with it, now I'm on windows 10 and they are still there

Major problem I have with them are the fairly high FPS drop they cause, not to mention those bugs

I looked in the forums of hp for solutions and nothing will not work:
    HP Quicktouch/tauch missing
HP MediaSmart Smart menu is missing also
Revo uninstaller did not find anything about this is mentioned in the forums

    Thanks for the help

I have never seen or met.

I've seen similar, as in games or overlays of user interface overlays. You have installed a program to show that? Check in your "hidden icons", down to your left. Y at - it an icon which shows, if so can "out you"? Is it in the Control Panel, all programs that say "overlay" or something?

The last thing that I can say, go to the Task Manager and go to the Startup tab. Is there something in there that can refer to a display on?

If none of them are successful, I will continue to look more deeply into it.

  • Option saver battery but with a brighter screen for 1050F?

Is it possible to set up the Yoga 2 10 1050F so that the battery saver option can reduce unnecessary programs running in the background, BUT, at the same time... have a brigher screen? Who feels like watching a totally tarnished down/faded screen just to get the benefit of stop unnecessary programs from running in the background? I know that I don't have.

Manager of the bottom app in the settings in the power manager. Control through your custom display settings brightness. Should work.

  • Bright screen.

When connecting line power screen bright decreeses, when I disconnect light increases. (Bright increases with the power of the battery). How can I adapt this function?. Thank you very much.

    Hello

Battery and a/c options have their own settings of brightness.

Control Panel - power opt - click "Change plan settings" for your power plans - then "adjusting brightness of plan" for both types of power.

    I hope this helps.

  • Issue with the brightness screen Dell E6530

    Hello

I have E6530 laptop with Windows 8.1. I have a problem with the brightness of the screen. Screen's brightness automatically almost always up and down adjustment. Not much, but enough that I noticed it and that is worrying. Is not serious if it is plugged or using the battery.

I tried to disable the ambient light sensor (cannot find any setting in the bios for this) and I also disabled Windows 8.1 Adaptive brightness.

    Any ideas?

I also noticed this. Especially when I change between a white and black interface, (Internet and WinAmp browser) that the screen automatically adjusts the brightness of the backlight. And I agree with that it is a little annoying because simply a difference worth noting.

    Edit:

So I lived the settings in the control panel of Intel, and by disabling the option Display Power Saving Technology, it seemed to stop constant backlight lighting.

  • Settings of brightness screen savings

T500, W7 Pro 64-bit, all "known" drivers loaded. Does anyone know how to keep the brightness of the screen setting even after a reboot? I tried to change and save the brightness setting using "power management" under the Control Panel, but it's not remember my settings when I reboot. DRM for any help / information.

    Bob Helms

Fixed a problem. Lenovo could not contribute to the solution I used the upgrade to W7 64 Pro retail. I got tired of waiting on the free ($17.03) 32 bit only upgrade. Microsoft has provided assistance with W7 64 Pro clean install. Display brightness problem solution was a correct installation of the Lenovo (NOT INTEL) display driver followed of system driver, power management Driver Interface and driver access keys for Lenovo web site. If you do not upgrade to W7 from Lenovo then your on your own.

  • want to 4-1112TX: could not set the brightness screen & long power

    I installed win 8.1 to win 10

any driver has been installed correctly (there no problem in the Device Manager list)

    my problems are:

-I could not find where I can adjust brightness of the screen, the shortcut key (f2 and f3) without effect.

-It was perfectly working in 8.1 existing

-time to market windows / stop take too long. It seems not intel rapid stoarge technology does not work.

so, can anyone help? because of many ways to solve (from google) does not work.

    Thank you.

    Hi @AgungEnvy,

Please become a member of the HP's Support Forums. I understand that you have a problem with the brightness keys and slow start and stop. I'll be happy to help you.

HP provides no driver for Windows 10 with this computer. You can try to install the window 8.1 graphics driver Intel high definition (HD). This may activate the brightness function keys.

You can restore the previous operating system if Windows 10 is too slow for the computer.

Please keep me informed of the progress of things.

If you need help, let me know and I will gladly make all that I can to help you.

Please let me know if that solves the problem by marking this post as "accept as a Solution.

  • Impossible to change the bright screen on Satellite Pro C50-A-143

I run windows 8.1 and I could not change the brightness of the screen for a while now.

It happened a few months before, but after a random number of days that it worked again, now it is stuck in about 60% bright max, which is not enough when the sun comes through the window.

According to the Toshiba Satellite Pro C50-A-143 datasheet this laptop has been preloaded with Win 7 64 bit and Win additional 8.1 own drive was part of the package.
I assume that you have installed own 8.1 win but have not installed all the drivers Toshiba win 8.1.

    Is this correct?

Visit the page of the Toshiba UE driver, install all the drivers, tools and utilities (graphic card drivers display tool, driver Toshiba system, etc.)
Utility function key Toshiba is very important if it is to use the key function (Fn, F1-10)

Then you should be able to use the function key to decrease and increase the brightness of the display.
