You may need to do it in safe mode if you do not have on the desktop. Before windows starts, press F8, and then choose Safe mode. Have you used the disk key and product supplied with the system. If this is not the case, this could cause problems.

Windows XP Professional SP3 installation diskettes
I restore my old computer, and I need floppy disks to install Windows XP Professional SP3 to do this, because my old computer will start only from a floppy or hard drive. Can I use diskettes of Windows XP Professional SP2, or do I floppy disks for Windows XP Professional SP3. If I need Windows XP Professional SP3 diskettes, where can I get their (answer with a link if I need them). Thank you!
You realize that the diskettes 'setup' will not install any version of Windows XP, but only allow you to start the installation process which must end with an authentic Windows XP installation CD?
The disks are only for the limited, rare, cases in which you have a CD player and a Windows installation CD, but for some reason that your computer does not start on the CD. Y at - it an update of the BIOS available that will allow your computer to boot from a CD?
As far as I KNOW, he is there no version of Service Pack 3 of these disks. If you have an installation CD for Windows XP Professional with Service Pack 3, try the SP2 game.

After you have re-installed Windows XP, you can go on the site Web of Norton and download the software from their part. Once you have downloaded it you should be asked for an email or an account that you configured when you first bought Norton, log. error c00000021A on my windows XP Professional after you install spyware and computer back reset
I reinstalled windows XP Professional ON MY DELL gx270s, I formatted the hard disk, installed the drivers from dell four with him, but after I installed my avast spyware on it and the computer comes back from. I get the code on a blue screen "COOOO21A ERROR". Could you help me with this
I would say that Avast has quarantined (effectively deleted) some system files important XP (he is known for this).
I have a few dozen c000021a errors in my notes, you must provide the exact error message that you see. Note that these are zeros, not OHS. I have a curious why would you only provide part of the message see you and wait to help us?
If yous system isn't bootm, the response from the Microsoft support engineer doesn't help. Even if your system does not start, it would be still useless. It is however the first article of KB Microsoft coming in a Bing search engine, but that's not good. Don't waste your time on these responses.
Here is an example, and we need something like that on your part:
STOP: c000021a {fatal system error}
The Windows logon process ended unexpectedly with the status of 0xc0000034 (0 x 0000000 0000000 x 0).
The system has been shut down. Then, you will need to answer these questions to the best you can:
What is your Version of XP and the Service Pack?
Your system have IDE or SATA disks?
The afflicted system has a working CD/DVD (internal or external) drive?
You have a true bootable XP installation CD (it is not the same as any recovery CD provided with your system)?

I put my machine running windows update last night, he installed SP2 from one day to the next. This morning I met with my usual logon screen. On logging into Vista asked for new authorization, I entered my product key on the back of the windows folder, and it has refused to accept it. I tried to use the phone and he wouldn't give me any group entry by phone number, automatic validation no longer works.
I built this machine myself about 12 months ago and its worked perfectly until now, I bought windows at a reputable dealer and he was completely valid and working ok until this update! Any help would be greatly accepted!

Hello everyone. After formatting my hard drive I reinstalled windows xp edition sp1 family and then installed the latest version of windows update agent. I have the auto update set to download the updates automatically and notify me when they are ready to be installed. Initially, he found 3 updates that I installed and rebooted. He concluded 58 updates. Again, I've installed and restarted. After that, we found ServicePack 2, I installed as well. But after the reboot, the pc does not start. What I get is the windows xp logo which discoloures after a few seconds and I don't see a bar moving from left to right. I left it like that for 3 hours, but nothing has changed. Also, it does not start in safe mode. I get a screen with red and green vertical lines in this case. Anyone know what's the problem? I'd appreciate any help. Thank you.
I was finally able to solve this problem. That's what I did. I reinstalled windows xp home and followed the same path (but his definition of the automatic updates notify me before downloading or installing updates) until the automatic updates found in the new service pack 2. This time that I did not choose to download it. Instead I downloaded from here http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=28 and then started in safe mode and installed. I don't know one that makes the difference but service pack 2 has been successfully installed this time and tha pc was able to start after installation. Before that, I also downloaded and installed the latest versions of 2 drivers through drivermax. I mention this in the case where he has also made a difference. After the service pack 2 installation and restart, automatic updates will be found a few others brought up-to-date, but after installation and reboot, it found no others. I had to visit update windows Internet explore and search for updates it and managed to find other updates and finally SP3.

I want to install the Japanese language in my windows XP Professional. But I don't have installation CD. So, I tried to look for how to install it without the installation CD. I just got this way for Office XP so far.
All first, I installed the Japanese language pack is http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=8289, and it succeeded. Then I restarted my computer, but it can still read the Japanese letters.
And I have installed the Global IME (Japanese) http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=22917
While it was installing, an error message appeared. And he says this configuration requires Office XP. I feel strange because the page says that Japanese language pack isn't required Office XP Global IME (Japanese) says that. But when I was installing the Japanese language pack, there was no problem with Office XP. So, please help me. is there another way to install it? Thanks in advance.Hello
Yes, you must install Office XP first.
Follow the steps to install the Japanese language pack.
a. first of all uninstall any Japanese language installed in the Panel.
b. restart the computer.
c. then try to install the Office XP Tool: Global IME (Japanese) using the link below:
http://www.Microsoft.com/en-US/Download/details.aspx?ID=22917
d. then try to install the Japanese language pack.

Re-install Windows 7 Professional after upgrade Express?
Hi all:
I assembled a new computer in October 2010, by using the version of Windows 7 Home Premium system manufacturer. I still have the product key and Win7-HP disc.March 18, 2011, I upgraded the OS to Win7-Pro using the Express Upgrade feature. Unfortunately, I have no record of it, because I don't remember which email address I used to upgrade. I tried connecting the MS Store with different email addresses to try to find the order in the history of the order, but can't locate it :(Yesterday, I decided to do a low-level format hard drive and do a fresh install of Windows. I had another Win7-Pro disc lying around which I used to install the operating system. However, I can't understand how to activate it. The system will not take the Win7-HP original product key and I don't have a product key for Win7-Pro of the Express upgrade.I can't find phone numbers with which I can contact Microsoft to know about it.Suggestions, how can I find my product key for Win7-Pro so that I can activate this new install?Thank you!
Dan BauerThe first thing you need to do is to get your key to Windows 7 Professional upgrade Express:
An e-mail containing your product key will be sent to the e-mail address associated with your Windows Live ID account or e-mail address you provided if you ignored the account configuration. Note: If you use an email tool or spam blocker spam filter, be sure that you can receive e-mail messages from microsoft.com.
What happens if I lose my product key?
If you lose your product key, you can return towww.Windows7.com/GetKey and sign in using the "Sign In" link in the upper right of the page. This will allow to recover your product key if you have established your account with your Windows Live ID. If you do not configure a Windows Live ID account initially there is no record of your online product key. Check your e-mail since it is the only trace of your product key.
orHere are four utilities, which can display your product keys if they are still there:
Belarc Advisor: http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html
(He did a good job of providing a wealth of information.)
Also: http://www.magicaljellybean.com/keyfinder.shtml
and: http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/product_cd_key_viewer.html
and RockXP: http://www.majorgeeks.com/download4138.html which has additional features.

The next thing you need to do is to ensure that your data is backed up:

http://notebooks.com/2011/02/25/how-to-restore-a-backup-from-an-external-hard-drive-in-Windows-7/
-------------------
The next thing you need to do is to reinstall the base license that you upgraded, Windows 7 Starter Edition or Home Premium.
If your computer is pre-installed with Windows 7:
New computers coming often pre-installed with Windows 7 have what is called a recovery partition. This is used to reinstall an operating system in the case of a system failure. To access it, you need to start when you start your computer by pressing a function key. This can be either F1, F2, F9, F10, F11, F12 key DEL or tab. See the manual that came with your PC for instructions on how to reinstall Windows.
-Samsung uses ESC on most of its systems
-HP use F9 on most of its systems
-Fujitsu uses F12 on most of its systems
-Acer use F12 on most of its systems, but often you need to go into BIOS to allow-Dell uses F12
In general, look at the screen during the POST for a tip for what is possible.
If your recovery partition is not available or damaged, you must contact the manufacturer of your computer, and request that a defined recovery disk you can use to reinstall Windows 7. They could practice a small shipping and handling.

Download is complete without error. Installation proceeds as usual. Upon restart, steps 1 and 2/3 have been completed. On step 3 of 3, however, the PC does not seem to do 'something'. Tecra 9000: After installation of SP2 Yamaha audio driver does not work
Hello
I have a Tecra 9000, with a Yamaha AC - XG sound card.
The problem is that since I installed Windows XP with SP2 included, I lost my sound.I also know that Toshiba is aware of this situation and they managed to post a solution for this. I tried this solution:
Detail:
Yamaha AC - XG driver used the PortCls function to check the version of the operating system. XP Service Pack 1, PortCls function is changed, while the Yamaha rider cannot get operatingsystem version correctly. The operating system provides the Windows 95 version. This is why the operating system has a blue screen. That's why Microsoft has added that the solution and the clandestine drivers cannot work on SP1. This problem also happens to Windows XP SP2.
Yamaha provides already the fixed driver Toshiba. The fixed driver version is the following;
yacxg.sys 6.13.10.2152 with software synthesizer
yacxgc.sys 6.13.10.3152 free software synthesizerHow to solve this problem:
Install the fixed driver on a system before and after the installation of Windows XP Service Pack 2.
Install as follows:
(1) unpack a file attached to your hard drive.
(2) to start the INSTALLATION. EXE
(3) click on the next button.
(4) select ' Yes, "I want to restart my computer now" and click Finish.A toshiba engineer told me that first of all I need to install the old driver "5.12.01.3141", and it worked ok, but still no sound.
And then he told me to install the "6.13.10.2152" version, but it didn't. I got the error message "the driver was not installed.I already tried many different drivers, including generics and the yamaha riders.
Please tell me a good solution for this problem if possible.
Thank you very much
HugoHello
Do you get the CD of Windows XP Home edition without SP (or perhaps including SP1) facility somewhere? Tecra 9000 is old enough laptop model (6 years) and maybe you should start installing OS like original recovery image.
Install Windows XP without SP home edition and configure all hardware components. After doing this update to SP2 brand. Maybe this order facilities will help you to have BONES works.
