ACR 4.6 displays ACR 4.4 under "Calibration of the camera.  Is this correct?

I noticed that under the Calibration of the camera, camera profile_name I only had the choice of ACR 4.4 or ACR 4.2 and then manually upgraded to 4.6 (I had not checked what the prior installed version was.)  This has not changed the options that are available for this setting.  Is this correct?

The names assigned to profiles closely imitate the names given by your camera manufacturer's different scene modes.  As you probably know, Lightroom and ACR cannot read the camera settings because they are owners.  Profiles created by Adobe are designed to produce the same results as these various scene modes available on your camera.  You might want to compare my taking a JPEG using one of scene modes, then pull a raw image and apply the corresponding profile.  Then, you can compare the profile is how closely what your JPEG looks like.

The Dehaze feature is not a part of Lightroom 6, it only comes with Lightroom creative cloud.

Profile names are generic for each provider to the camera. So, you won't see anything that specifies a particular camera model (same D2X is generic for all NIkon). The right profile for your D200 or D300 is automatically selected when you select an image in one or the other. Quite simply, you can't take a profile that is not compatible with a specific camera model.

There is nothing more for you to change, add, etc. - everything is ready to go.

  • Calibration of the camera in ACR and DNG Profile Editor

I'm having the hardest time finding how to use camera generated with DNG Profile Editor in Camera Raw profiles.

I use Photoshop CS4 under Windows 7. I generated the file .dcp with DNG Profile Editor and saved in the folder: Program Files/Adobe/Photoshop CS4/Presets/Camera Profiles.

This is as far as I'm away. I was not able use this profile in ACR camera Calibration tab. I was led to believe it is displayed automatically. I found no video tutorials related to the cab and the installation of camera profiles. They all seem to relate to Lightroom.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Here's what I do:

    1. Open DNG Profile Editor
    2. Open or DNG files with image checker
    3. Define the brands from four corners
    4. Generate the profile
    5. Select the file-> Export
    6. Dcp generated file is saved in C:\Users\m\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\CameraRaw\CameraProfiles

  • Display driver stopped responding and has recovered the problem

I got a Dell Inspiron M5040 with Windows 7 for Christmas 2011 and I started to use Windows Live Movie Maker, but whenever I get in the middle of editing a video, the screen went black for about a second and says "display driver stopped responding and recovered." The first time this error message has occurred, the laptop computer itself restarted and is went to a blue screen with the text, telling me to go into some sort of 'safe mode' (I couldn't read the text in time). I have all the latest drivers, my laptop is new, only yesterday lit.

What can I do about it? I really want to use Movie Maker. I'm new to the Forum, so I hope someone help me. Thank you very much. Any help is appreciated.

    Hi James

What you see is called the action process.in TDR (Timeout, recovery of the display).

In earlier versions of windows when the display device ran out of resources throughout the system would stop responding which would require a reboot to recover.

In Windows 7, if the display device is not responding, the system will try to stop and restart the device to recover.

More information on this feature can be found here (Advanced): http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/hardware/gg487368.aspx

The most common reason for this problem is that the display device is overloaded or used beyond its capabilities.

This happens more often when reading graphic intensive games, but can occur with any process that uses a large amount of graphic resources, such as you see when you edit or create videos.

What you can do to avoid these problems:

    1. only this type of procedure when the laptop is connected to a source ca.

    2. in prior to starting video editing, restart the computer.

    3. close all other running programs to ensure that all graphics resources are available for video editing.

  • WVC210 display of the camera does not

    Hello

I have a wvc210, the small LCD screen on the camera does not do anything, so I can't determine what IP it works stop. The lights work and it starts ok.

    Any suggestions?

    Hello

First of all, I'm sorry that you are having problems with the camera.

My first recommendation would be for you to contact the support center at 866-606-1866 so that we can determine if the device is under warranty and replace it.

If that's not an option, or you already know the product is supported and given that the device works properly, what you can do is look in the DHCP table and find the MAC address of the camera, in this way you now the IP address that uses and will be able to connect to it.

In addition, if it is not an option, you can download a network scanner (several free on the internet, as always, Google is your friend), the scanner and find the MAC address.

Once you have found the address, connect to the device and assign a static IP address so you will always know how to access.

    I hope that was helpful.

  • 'Options' are not listed under 'Tools' in the Manger of the activity to change the font size of the incoming messages. Where is he?

I'm changing the the font size for incoming messages. Thunderbird "helps," says click on Tools/Options/display/setting in the advanced form. When I click on 'Tools' or use "Alt + T", 'Options' are not listed. Where can I go to get the "options"? I am running Windows 8.1 if it makes a difference.

ALT + T you should get there. Options is under Tools on the menu bar. Pressing alt makes the menu bar appear if not already displayed.

If you use the AppMenu (square with 3 lines) button click the AppMenu, hover over the Options, and then select Options.

  • The camera driver won't install; all portable devices under Device Manager have yellow warnings

    Windows 7 64 bit

All portable devices in Device Manager have yellow warnings.  I followed the directions of the driver reinstall paragraph each device status, but nothing has changed - warnings remain. Although warnings have existed for some time, I had no problem with the computer read maps or the connection with devices until recently, when a Canon camera wouldn't connect via USB or wireless because his driver would not move.  (The camera connects to my other Windows 7 64 x computer.)

Running sfc/scannow a couple of times have mounted several corrupted files that could not be repaired: WUDFPlatform.dll, WUDFrd.sys, WUDFPf.sys, MsftWdf_User_01_11_00_Inbox_Critical.Wdf, WUDFSvc.dll, WUDFHost.exe, WUDFCoinstaller.dll, WUDFx.dll. KB2685813 was apparently the above Windows Update. He appears twice on the same date (in November 2012) in the list of my computer for updates.  I tried to uninstall it, but get the message that the uninstall failed.

Thank you.  I solved the problem more simply.  I learned live to access corrupted files (TrustedInstaller owned files and blocked any changes to them) and replaced by vouchers.  Now everything works.

There is information online times how to change the owner of TrustedInstaller or anything else and then restore ownership to TrustedInstaller.

I love the develop module, but I'm doing something wrong in the library

In the library, under 'Catalogue, all the photographs', all my photos appear showing the stars, cropping, and development. The problem is that these changes are not for the photos on my hard drive. When I re-import them in Lr, the changes are not there. My workflow is to do nothing after development or export them to the original with a new file name destination. Anyway, it is that they get a new file name without change of development when they are imported into Lr.  Please help (PC user)

And others have explained, Lightroom does not apply the changes to the file. All changes are stored in the catalog, and then applied to the image when it is displayed in Lightroom. If you want a copy of the image with any changes so that you can share with others or send it to a laboratory to print, then you must export a copy of this image by using the export dialog box in Lightroom.

Features of Lightroom as well by its design. The images that you import are always left in their original condition, unmodified.

To add to this miserable viewing experience, we cannot even e-mail Adobe to communicate this déclassé experience.  We are forced to complain to others.

Who knows of another pdf viewer application which is better (for viewing - what are the tools when he drove you nuts just to see your documents in Adobe reader?)

Well, finally found.  Go to the edition/preferences/display Page.  Under "Rendering: smooth text", choose "for computer/laptop LCD screens". "  Do not know why the default value is set to 'none', which gives you this mess / hard to read test.

  • Posterlization/Banding Office of the colors displayed in the camera «D610» profiles

    Greetings,

I have several question of the color of the strips/posterlization the selection of camera calibration tab portrait profile camera LR.

My image is a D610 Nikon SLR RAW file and the color of the strips into shadow shows quite clearly when the zoom to 100%.

Surprisingly, all as Vivid, Neutral, Standard and Lancscape camera profiles are the same color of the strips. So I have no choice except using the Adobe Standard profile which I prefer not to due to my customer's requirement.

However, I also meet this same problem as well in RAW D700 file during post-processing in LR. But the problem can be solved easily by changing just the old profile of the camera to the new V4 version.

I use Lightroom 5.7.1 64-bit Macintosh. Is there anyone facing this problem like me? because most of my photos is photographed by D610 and this problem bothers me a lot.

Any suggestion given to me would be much appreciated.

    Thank you

    Boyd

Here is what I see using the latest plugin cab 9, which was equivalent to the more recent treatment programs 6 LR and LR CC 2015, so a version of the problem still exists.  I'll pass this information and your sample NAVE along Adobe and hopefully they can fix in the next version, but if LR 5 can be fixed, I'm not sure.  Assuming that Adobe releases new profiles for the D610 with the next version of LR and ACR (6.2, 9.3) then you would hack things LR 5.7 installing the DNG Converter 9.3 (or whatever version a better profile) then copy into folder LR resources on top of the older profiles, or at least put in the library user profile location well if old and new profiles have the same name Maybe you couldn't access one you wanted.

  • Unflagged messages always appear under "Flagged" in the Mail application

    Mail application

    Hi, ale.schmidt!

Thank you for using communities Support from Apple. After reading your post, I see that when you clear a flag to a message in Mail, they always appear in the box to the Flagged letters. I use the mail every day, so I know how it is important to be able to manage your messages, and I'd be happy to help you!

The first thing I would say is to leave the Mail app following the instructions here: OS X El Capitan: Quit apps

Once you have left the Mail app, press in and hold the SHIFT key on your keyboard. While now Shift click the Mail icon to open the application again. Check if the messages in question were removed from the mailbox Flagged.

If you still see the messages there, try restarting your Mac by clicking on the menu  Apple in the upper left corner of your screen and selecting restart... from the menu drop down. Once the computer is back on, check if the messages are always under the Flagged mailbox.

You can then start the computer in safe mode if the messages are always listed under Flagged. The following article will guide you through a startup in safe mode: try safe mode if your Mac does not start-up

Although the title of this article does not exactly your question, it is always a good step to take. Safe mode works certain system checks during the startup process, and disables some software that may be causing a conflict. Once you have started in safe mode, check if the messages are always listed under Flagged.

    See you soon!
