I know that many others have had a similar problem, but I get the error messages are somewhat different:

Success at last! I went to the Microsoft Support Home, Windows, and Windows 8 selected. I typed C:\Windows\Installer in the search field, and the first who came was a matter of a person who did not find this file. The response of a Bob Oneill explained that this file was in a special protected area of the computer and that it could not be visible even if hidden folders enabled. To access it, you need to temporarily disable user account control. Then, you could do a one-time access to the folder. Thank you for downloading the test installation files, I could copy the two files that Kapil stated above to the folder. I then went to Adobe Application Manager and download and installation is completed successfully. Bob Oneill has more instructions detailed in his post on the support site for windows.

  • CS6 Production Pro W8 installation fail "requirements of OS has not met.

    Hello. Do not have install CS6 Production Premium.

    Currently have Master CS - 4, 3 - LR, LR-4 installed on this machine. Because of Adobe installation nightmare questions I got on with CS4 although W8 have SN for CS6 - PP have an attempt to install Trail.

    Installation has failed, in the majority of cases, because "Not met requirements of OS", and in others as an electrician claimed it does not find the files.

    Given my hardware system, and a W8 running with the last tasks it is inconceivable to me that 'demands are not met.

    Here are the relevant system info:

    OS: Windows 8 Professional (x 64) (build 9200)

    CPU: Intel Core i7-3820 3.60 GHz

    MB: ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. SABERTOOTH X 79

    I have the errorlog of the installation failed (excerpts below). I also have the summary of the profile Belarc system available.

    Run the Creative Suite cleanup tool, try again. Since it fails on the color profiles, also check that they are not in active use as a monitor or a printer profile and permissions on the respectivce system folder to allow access.

    I've recently updated Creative Suite Design Premium 3 for Mac to Creative Suite Design Premium 5.5 for Mac. I am eligible for a free upgrade to Creative Suite Web and Design Premium 6 for Mac and is waiting to receive a serial number for this update from Adobe. I have an Intel Core i5 iMac with 8 GB of RAM and OS X 10.7.3 on it.

    I downloaded today (May 8) Creative Suite Web and Design Premium 6 and tried to install it as a trial version (to fill the time until I get the serial number). However, the installation has failed several times after 30 minutes and after I installed a lot of folders and files with the error message 'failed to install. Genuine Adobe software check failed. The product you want to install is not a genuine Adobe software and appears to be counterfeit. "Before attempting to install this final version that I downloaded today on the Adobe site, I had never a beta version of the Creative Suite 6 or one of its components installed.

    I then uninstalled the Creative Suite Web and Design Premium 6 with the Adobe uninstaller, restarted my computer and also let the tool cleaner of the Creative Suite from Adobe (which did not find anything more uninstall).

    After that, I rebooted the computer again and tried again to install Creative Suite Web and Design Premium 6 and obtained again - after about 30 minutes of activity of the facility - the same error message.

    When I let the installer again he offered only Acrobat, Illustrator, Indesign, and Photoshop as programs that may be installed. I chose only Indesign and Photoshop and this installation is completed without error message.  When I let the installation program to run once more again it now offered only Acrobat and Illustrator as programs which could be installed. I chose only Illustrator and this facility is not ended, but ended (at 99% installation) with the same error message again. Although Indesign was allegedly installed successfully I can't launch it.     I downloaded the software from the link I provided and that you have provided. I chose the full features software and installed the printer on my Win7 machine. Both these pages appear in all versions of the software, and the page with the check box that requires you to accept the conditions required by law. There is no way for these pages to be omitted on your computer.

    I'll transfer my instructions to uninstall/reinstall of the printer.

    First of all, if you use a USB cable, be sure to remove it. Do not plug it in again until the software instructs you. Through devices and printers, programs and features and issues Device Manager and make sure that all copies, files, and programs related to the printer are removed. As indicated, and then restart the computer.

  • 'Installation Failed' for some creative Cloud on Surface Pro 3 applications

    Hello

    I try to install more creative cloud on my Surface Pro 3 for the first time.  Many of the applications are installed correctly, but so far I am unable to install Dreamweaver CC (2014) and Media Encoder CC (2014).  Both applications indicate that "the Installation failed" and "download error. Press Retry to try again, or contact customer support. -(55)' in the details in the dialog box.

    Any ideas?  Where can I find the Setup log?

    Right have so this problem started about two days ago. Everything was fine before this. But later I decided to uninstall after effects and reinstall. When I press the button install, it repeats that the installation failed. I have tried everything what using the creative cloud cleaning tool, reinstall creative cloud, reinstall something @adobecare me and even tried switching of accounts on the laptop. Literally, this error only happens that products Adobe who are decimal numbers in their labels for example "photoshop 2015.3 CC. But when I try to install Adobe products that do not have the decimal number, they install successfully. Really, please help me.

    Recently I've just upgraded to windows 7 10, and in the process, I uninstalled my Photoshop CS6. After the upgrade is finished, I headed to the adobe website to install Photoshop once more, soon for a new creative cloud service. I decided to try it with a trial for now, to see if I could buy later. Unfortunately a few days later I walked directly into a virus online and random programs began to install on my desktop. I panicked! I decided to do a restore of the system on my machine for a few days earlier, (unfortunately the timestamp was set before I installed all new adobe programs ) scanned for viruses and malware and cleaned my machine once more. After I did, I installed the installer of creative cloud again to see now that it was the fate by a few seconds in. I was confused, so I made online searches to quickly find this "creative cloud cleaning tool" provided by adobe. Gave him a quick run, cleaned up all the old files that remained, and installed right accelerated through good as new again. Shortly after I clicked the button 'Try' next to Photoshop, it went through the entire download process and then display in orange text, «Installation Failed - more». Only, this became more frustrated at the minute... I decided to try the same installation process on the first, and it's the same thing; «Failed to install - more». I decided to click on learn more to soon find text read, ' errors occurred during installation ' (7) I studied this Error Code 7and he said to try to install your applications through safe mode with network. STILL NO LUCK. I gave up at this point, and I can help the community! Thank you
