What type of firefox that I need to install on my shelf so I can open sites on their version rather mobile desktop version?

Install the regular Firefox for Mobile before installing this addon

This tablet is using Android and hardware wise it looks that he could easily run Firefox mobile. In order to check Google for Firefox play store as mentioned.

And according to https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/will-firefox-work-my-mobile-device#w_toshiba , it has been confirmed to work with Firefox mobile.

Do not know why cyborg4 claims otherwise.

Are you a black screen? If it's the problem run Firefox, then near the clock, there will be a 4-arrow icon, click on it and select "Stretch to fill screen" and restart the tablet. This will fix a problem with Android wrong suggesting Zoom to fill the screen for Firefox.

Firefox will have compressed specific allure in Firefox 9. It will be in the Android Market autour 10 beta of Firefox. https://ianbarlow.WordPress.com/2011/09/30/Firefox-for-tablets-lands-in-Aurora/

the browser history is cluttered with attempts to find mforation over several days. I want this clesr off.

    Hello

There are two Add-ons you can use with Firefox Mobile to clear your history (Cleary and erase the historical Mobile).

If you press the menu button on the device and select Add-ons, you can search for and install an add-on. Then click on Preferences in the menu and scroll to the bottom to see the button clear history.

Here is an article with step by step and screenshots for tablets (the steps are the same for a mobile phone, except that the menu button that you use is the one on your phone).

    Hello

Yes, there is a project to create and test a version of Firefox OS for tablets.

I recommend a reading of the wiki page that contains more information about what and how to get involved.

  • Make Firefox preserves web content already loaded when the Tablet is paused

I recently had an Android Tablet and loaded Firefox on it as my browser. First of all, I intend to use it for reading web content, sometimes when offline - i.e., I would like to be able to load some websites at home, leave Firefox open and put to sleep (NOT turn off), go somewhere where I don't have wifi, then wake the Tablet and read my sites loaded - just like I do with my laptop but much more portable.

The problem is that it seems that when I do this and go in Firefox after the awakening of my tablet, the browser seems to always reload the Web page from scratch. It is a pain because it means that I have a wifi access to read Web pages and I often partially through a post very long blog/forum or something similar, and I spend a lot of time scrolling to where I was.

Anyone know why this is happening and what I need to do to get Firefox to just keep the content I have already loaded?

OK, tried this today and it worked fine. I don't know what happened yesterday. Close this question!

  • I would be able to remove Firefox and come back to my original browser if there is no problem with it on my RCA Tablet?

I just got a very stripped down Android tablet, which is all that I need. The browser is not exactly feature rich, but I don't want to lose if the Firefox browser does not work on the tablet.

sl215 Hello, of course - install firefox on android will happen besides the default browser that is already on the device and will not affect it. If this does not work for you, you can easily uninstall the application again through google game store.
